    Abstract

A pickleball paddle includes a paddle body and a handle connected to the paddle body. The paddle body includes a substrate layer and a fiber face sheet. The fiber face sheet overlays either surface of the substrate layer. A coating is provided on an outer surface of the fiber face sheet. An outer surface of the coating has a texture formed by directly pressing the coating.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0020] Referring to FIGS. 1-3, the specific structure of a first embodiment of the present invention comprises a paddle body 10 and a handle 20 connected to the paddle body 10.

[0021] The paddle body 10 includes a substrate layer 11 and a fiber face sheet 12. The fiber face sheet 12 overlays either surface of the substrate layer 11. A coating 13 is provided on the outer surface of the fiber face sheet 12. The outer surface of the coating 13 has a texture 101 formed by directly pressing the coating 13. In this embodiment, the fiber face sheet 12 is made of a carbon fiber material or a glass fiber material, and has good structural strength. The coating 13 is a semi-gloss oil-based coating or a full-gloss oil-based coating to provide a semi-dull or full-dull, semi-matte or full-matte effect.

[0022] The handle 20 is integrally formed with the paddle body 10. Specifically, the handle 20 extends backward from the substrate layer 11 and the fiber face sheet 12 to form an integral structure. The structure is more stable and reliable.

[0023] The production process of the first embodiment is described in detail as follows:

[0024] In production, the substrate layer 11 is first produced, and then the fiber face sheet 12 is bonded to the surface of the substrate layer 11 by pressing. Then, the outer surface of the fiber face sheet 12 is coated with the coating 13. Finally, the outer surface of the coating 13 is pressed to form the texture 101 by using a stamper.

[0025] FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 illustrate the specific structure of a second embodiment of the present invention. The second embodiment is substantially similar to the first embodiment with the exceptions described hereinafter.

[0026] In the second embodiment, a pattern layer 14 is provided on the outer surface of the fiber face sheet 12. The coating 13 is a transparent coating. The coating 13 covers the pattern layer 14 to make the product more attractive in appearance and protect the pattern layer 14 well. The pattern layer 14 may be formed by spraying or printing, but not limited thereto.

[0027] The production process of the second embodiment is described in detail as follows:

[0028] In production, the substrate layer 11 is first produced, and then the fiber face sheet 12 is bonded to the surface of the substrate layer 11 by pressing. Then, the outer surface of the fiber face sheet 12 is formed with the pattern layer 14 by spraying or printing. Next, the outer surface of the pattern layer 14 is coated with a full-gloss oil-based paint to form the coating 13. The coating 13 is configured to protect the pattern layer 14. Finally, the outer surface of the coating 13 is pressed to form the texture 101 by using a stamper.

[0029] The feature of the present invention is described below. The coating is provided on the outer surface of the fiber face sheet. The outer surface of the coating has the texture formed by directly pressing the coating. The structure and production process of the present invention are simple, and the efficiency is high. The internal structure of the fiber face sheet won't be damaged, so as to ensure the structural strength. It is conducive to the beautification design of the product, meeting the aesthetic requirement of the product. The texture will never peel off, which fully meets the requirement of the durability of the product. The product is beautiful and durable and is worth promoting and using.

[0030] Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
