Swimsuit neck strap pad

Abstract

A device that contains a thru hole on each end to allow the neck straps of a swimsuit to be placed through and sit atop of once tied, and therefore absorbing the pressure that is caused by the swimsuit straps digging into the user's neck.

Claims

1. A device with a thru hole at each end of the device, comprising of a closed cell foam, poly spandex anti-microbial tricot fabric, and metal grommets.

2. A device according to claim 1, wherein each end of the device contains a thru hole.

3. A device according to claim 1, wherein each thru hole contains a metal grommet.

4. A device according to claim 1, wherein the device is comprised of a closed cell foam.

5. A device according to claim 1, wherein the top surface of the device is comprised of a poly spandex anti-microbial tricot fabric.

6. A device according to claim 1, wherein the bottom surface of the device is comprised of a poly spandex anti-microbial tricot fabric.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0011] In the following detailed description, the device according to the teachings for this application in the form of a swimsuit neck strap pad will be described by the embodiments. It should be noted that although only a swimsuit neck strap is described the teachings of this application can also be used in any other halter neck style garment such as a dress or shirt.

[0012] A first embodiment of the swimsuit neck strap pad 100 is illustrated in FIG. 1. The swimsuit neck strap pad 100 comprises a closed cell foam 104, poly spandex anti-microbial tricot fabric 102 and two metal grommets 103.

[0013] In the present embodiment the swimsuit neck strap pad 100 has a flat surface with a metal grommet 103 inserted into a thru hole at left end and right end of the swimsuit neck strap pad 100.

[0014] A second embodiment of the swimsuit neck strap pad 100 is illustrated in FIG. 2. The swimsuit neck strap pad 100 according to the second embodiment is essentially the same as the swimsuit neck strap pad 100 according to the first embodiment, except that the view of the swimsuit neck strap pad 100 is an exploded view to show assembly of the materials that the swimsuit neck strap pad 100 is comprised of.

The swimsuit neck strap pad 100 according to the fourth embodiment shows the swimsuit neck strap pad 100 being worn on a person's neck 107 with the swimsuit 105 neck straps 106 placed through the grommet 103 on left end and right end of the swimsuit neck strap pad 100 and neck straps 106 tied together sitting on the top surface of the swimsuit neck strap pad 100.
