However, those skilled in the art will readily appreciate that the detailed descriptions given herein with respect to the figures are simply for explanatory purposes as the apparatuses, methods, and systems may extend beyond the described embodiments. For example, the teachings presented and the needs of a particular application may yield multiple alternative and suitable approaches to implement the functionality of any detail described herein. Therefore, any approach may extend beyond the particular implementation choices in the following embodiments described and shown.
[0040] References to “one embodiment,” “at least one embodiment,” “an embodiment,” “one example,” “an example,” “for example,” and so on indicate that the embodiment(s) or example(s) may include a particular feature, structure, characteristic, property, element, or limitation but that not every embodiment or example necessarily includes that particular feature, structure, characteristic, property, element, or limitation. Further, repeated use of the phrase “in an embodiment” does not necessarily refer to the same embodiment.
[0041] Reference throughout this document to “stabilizer rods”, or similar terms refers to rods that a user will hold during use of the embodiment that allows the user to remain in a stable position while utilizing the device. Thus, the appearances of such phrases or in various places throughout this specification are not necessarily all referring to the same embodiment. Furthermore, the particular features, structures, or characteristics may be combined in any suitable manner in one or more embodiments without limitation.
[0042] Headings of sections provided in this patent application and the title of this patent application are for convenience only and are not to be taken as limiting the disclosure in any way. A description of an embodiment with several components in connection with each other does not imply that all such components are required.
[0043]
[0044] In an embodiment, the rods (102a, 102b, 102c, and 102d) are slidably attached to the compression roller (104). In an embodiment, the adjustable myofascial release device (100) includes a platform (108) attached to and supports the compression roller (104) and the rods (102a, 102b, 102c, and 102d).
[0045] In an embodiment, the platform (108) includes a receiving area (116) such as a cutout to receive the compression roller (104). In an embodiment, the receiving area (116) allows the compression roller (104) to collapse in a closed position. In an embodiment, the rods (102a, 102b, 102c, and 102d) are adaptable to move inwards. In an aspect, the length of the rods (102a, 102b, 102c, and 102d) are maximized to provide stability on the platform (108).
[0046]
[0047] In an embodiment, the adjustable myofascial release device (100) includes at least two stabilizer rods (202a and 202b) configured to retract and extended upward once installed on the platform (108). In an embodiment, the adjustable myofascial release device (100) includes at least two holes (204a and 204b) on either side of the platform (108) for inserting the stabilizer rods. In an embodiment, the platform (108) at the receiving area (116) is made in two separate parts (108a and 108b) with a locking pin (206) designed to hold the separate parts of the platform (108) when in use. In an embodiment, the adjustable myofascial release device (100) includes at least two recessed slots (208a and 208b) placed along both ends of the platform (108) to secure the two stabilizer rods (202a and 202b) on either end for ease of storage, wherein the recessed slots comprising small notchs (400a and 400b) for finger insertion for removal of the two stabilizer rods (202a and 202b).
[0048] Thus, the present invention provides an adjustable myofascial release device that helps to relieve muscle tension spots and increase tissue/joint mobility. Further, the adjustable myofascial release device increases the ability to move freely. Furthermore, the adjustable myofascial release device adjusts to different heights and it is also collapsible which allows it to be easily transportable and stored away if needed. Furthermore, the adjustable myofascial release device depends on which muscle area wanting to be worked, and the user i.e., a customer would adjust the releasing hinges to the proper height and apply pressure into the releasing roller. Once desired pressure is achieved, the user can either roll back and forth on the roller or move local extremities around while on muscle spot. Additionally, the adjustable myofascial release device increases joint and tissue mobility. Additionally, the adjustable myofascial release device increases athletic performance, muscle contraction/strength, overall freedom of movement, and motor control coordination.
[0049] A person skilled in the art will understand that the adjustable myofascial release device (100) is described herein for illustrative purposes and should not be construed to limit the scope of the disclosure. any manner. It will be further appreciated that the variants of the above-disclosed system elements, modules, and other features and functions, or alternatives thereof, may be combined to create other different apparatuses, systems, or applications.
[0050] While the present disclosure has been described with reference to certain embodiments, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes may be made and equivalents may be substituted without departing from the scope of the present disclosure. In addition, many modifications may be made to adapt a particular situation or material to the teachings of the present disclosure without departing from its scope.
