    Abstract

A mop bucket has a sliding base to engage with for moving around freely. The sliding base has an L-shaped frame to engage and support the body from a bottom thereof, and plural castors for the mop bucket to be moved in every direction; also, the mop bucket is detachable from the sliding base for water filling and emptying.

    Claims

    1. A mop bucket with a sliding base, said mop bucket comprising a body having a top thereof as an opening, an engaging base extending from a bottom thereof with an axle arranged on said engaging base; a dewatering section mounted on the axle; and a rotating element mounted on the axle under the dewatering section for the dewatering section to be rotatable; wherein the sliding base is engaging the bottom of the body and has a frame which includes a vertical periphery extending from a surface thereof to form an L shape so that when the body is disposed on the sliding base, the vertical periphery would cover a bottom edge of the body and the surface would support the bottom of the body, and the frame further includes a plurality of castors for the mop bucket to be moved in every direction; whereby the mop bucket is disposed on the sliding base for moving in every direction but it is also detachable therefrom for water filling and emptying; and the detachable design allows stacking for convenient storage and transportation.

    2. The mop bucket with a sliding base as claimed in claim 1, wherein the body further includes a handle on a top periphery thereof.

    3. The mop bucket with a sliding base as claimed in claim 1, wherein the frame includes four castors for moving around.

    4. The mop bucket with a sliding base as claimed in claim 1, wherein the opening of the body, the bottom of the body, and the frame of the sliding base are 8-shaped.

[0018] FIG. 5 is another schematic diagram illustrating the present invention being moved; and

[0019] FIG. 6 is a schematic diagram illustrating a mop bucket, a dewatering section and a sliding base thereof being separately stacked.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0020] Referring to FIGS. 2-3, the present inventiona mop bucket with a sliding base 10mainly includes a mop bucket 20 and a sliding base 30. The mop bucket 20 includes a body 21, a dewatering section 25, and a rotating element 26.

[0021] The body 21 has a top thereof as an opening 22, a space 28 arranged aside for water filling and mop cleaning, an engaging base 23 extending from a bottom thereof at the other side with an axle 24 mounted on the engaging base 23. The dewatering section 25 is mounted on the axle 24 and the rotating element 26 is mounted on the axle 24 under the dewatering section 25 for which to be rotatable in order to dry the mop.

[0022] The sliding base 30 is engaging the bottom of the body 21 and has a frame 31 which includes a vertical periphery 311 extending from a surface 312 thereof to form an L shape so that when the body 21 is disposed on the sliding base 30, the vertical periphery 311 would cover a bottom edge of the body 21 and the surface 312 would support the bottom of the body 21; the frame 31 further includes a plurality of castors 32 for the mop bucket 20 to be moved in every direction. In this embodiment, there are four castors 32 to ensure a stable moving.

[0023] In this embodiment, the opening 22 of the body 21 and the bottom of the body 21 are 8-shaped, so that when performing rotation dewatering, the water drops thrown by the centrifugal force would be blocked by an inner wall of the body 21 and then flow down to the space 28. In other words, the 8-shaped design is able to prevent the water drops from spilling. In addition, the sliding base 30 is arranged in 8-shaped as well since it is designed to fitly support the body 21 from under.

[0024] FIGS. 4-5 further illustrate structure of a handle 27 on the body 21. The handle 27 is designed for a user to easily hold and move the mop bucket with the sliding base 10. FIG. 4 shows the handle 27 arranged along a major axis of the body 21 and FIG. 5 shows the handle 27 arranged along a minor axis of the body 21.

[0025] Moreover, when the mop bucket 20 needs to fill in or empty the water, the mop bucket 20 can be detached from the sliding base 30 for easily filling and emptying. Also, the detachable design allows the mop bucket 20, the sliding base 30, and the dewatering section 25 to be separately stacked for storage and transportation without taking too much space as shown in FIG. 6.

[0026] All in all, the present invention has the sliding base 30 with castors 32 for conveniently moving around and for its users to easily cleaning and drying the mop. Also, the detachable design allows water filling and emptying without difficulties or inconveniences, and allows the elements to be separately stacked for storage and transportation without taking too much space.

[0027] Although a particular embodiment of the invention has been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
