    Abstract

    A sealable display pouch for displaying an insert element on an outer surface of a purse or a wallet includes a transparent fabric panel, an adhesive strip, and an insert element. The transparent fabric panel is fixedly attached to the outer surface of the wallet or the purse. An opening is positioned at a top section of the transparent fabric panel. An inner surface of the transparent fabric panel and the outer surface of the wallet or the purse defines the space therebetween. The adhesive strip is positioned on the outer surface of the wallet or the purse. The adhesive strip releasably seals the transparent fabric panel with the outer surface of the wallet or the purse. The insert element is positioned in the space defined by the transparent fabric panel for displaying the insert element.

    Claims

    1. A sealable display pouch for displaying an insert element on a receptacle, the sealable display pouch comprising: a transparent fabric panel fixedly attached to the outer surface of the receptacle, the transparent fabric panel comprising an opening for receiving the insert element, wherein the inner surface of the transparent fabric panel and the outer surface the receptacle defines a space therebetween; an adhesive strip positioned on the outer surface of the receptacle for sealing the transparent fabric panel; and the insert element positioned in the space defined by the transparent fabric panel for displaying the insert element.

    2. The sealable display pouch of claim 1, wherein the receptacle is one of a purse and a wallet.

    3. The sealable display pouch of claim 1, wherein the receptacle comprises a plurality of pockets for storing one or more objects.

    4. The sealable display pouch of claim 3, wherein the one or more objects are selected from the group consisting of a payment card, coins, a photo(s), and an identification card.

    5. The sealable display pouch of claim 1, wherein the insert element is one of a sketched image, a printed image, a photo(s) image, and an art and craft object.

    6. A sealable display pouch for displaying an insert element on an outer surface of one of a purse and a wallet, the sealable display pouch comprising: a transparent fabric panel fixedly attached to the outer surface of one of the wallet and the purse, the transparent fabric panel comprising an opening, a top section, an inner surface, and a space, the opening positioned at the top section of the transparent fabric panel, wherein the inner surface of the transparent fabric panel and the outer surface of one of the wallet and the purse defines the space therebetween; an adhesive strip positioned on the outer surface of one of the wallet and the purse, wherein the adhesive strip releasably seals the transparent fabric panel with the outer surface of one of the wallet and the purse; and the insert element positioned in the space defined by the transparent fabric panel for displaying the insert element.

    7. The sealable display pouch of claim 6, wherein the purse comprises a plurality of pockets for storing one or more objects.

    8. The sealable display pouch of claim 7, wherein the one or more objects are selected from the group consisting of a payment card, coins, a photo(s), and an identification card.

    9. The sealable display pouch of claim 6, wherein the wallet comprises a plurality of pockets for storing one or more objects.

    10. The sealable display pouch of claim 9, wherein the one or more objects are selected from the group consisting of a payment card, coins, a photo(s), and an identification card.

    11. The sealable display pouch of claim 1, wherein the insert element is one of a sketched image, a printed image, a photo(s) image, and an art and craft object.

    12. A method for displaying an insert element on a receptacle, the method comprising: providing a sealable display pouch comprising: a transparent fabric panel comprising an opening; an adhesive strip; and the insert element; inserting the insert element into the opening of the transparent fabric panel of the sealable display pouch; and sealing the transparent fabric panel using the adhesive strip.

    13. The method of claim 12, wherein the receptacle is one of a purse and a wallet.

    14. The method of claim 12, wherein the receptacle comprises a plurality of pockets for storing one or more objects.

    15. The method of claim 14, wherein the one or more objects are selected from the group consisting of a payment card, coins, a photo(s), and an identification card.

    16. The method of claim 12, wherein the insert element is one of a sketched image, a printed image, a photo(s) image, and an art and craft object.

    DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

    [0021] FIG. 1A exemplarily illustrates a front elevation view of a sealable display pouch 100 provided on a purse 101 in a closed configuration. FIG. 1B exemplarily illustrates a front elevation view of a sealable display pouch 100 provided on a purse 101 in an open configuration without an insert element 102. FIG. 1C exemplarily illustrates a front elevation view of a sealable display pouch 100 having an insert element 102. In an embodiment, the sealable display pouch 100 is provided on a purse 101 as exemplarily illustrated in FIGS. 1A-1F. The sealable display pouch 100 for displaying an insert element 102 on an outer surface 101a of a purse 101 comprises a transparent fabric panel 103, an adhesive strip 104, and the insert element 102. In an embodiment, the transparent fabric panel 103 is fixedly attached to the outer surface 101a of the purse 101. Moreover, the transparent fabric panel 103 comprises an opening 103a, a top section 103b, an inner surface 103c, and a space 103d as exemplarily illustrated in FIG. 1D. In an embodiment, the opening 103a is positioned at the top section 103b of the transparent fabric panel 103 as exemplarily illustrated in FIGS. 1B-1C. In an embodiment, the transparent fabric panel 103 is made from a transparent fabric material, for example, clear polyvinyl chloride (PVC), non-woven polypropylene, synthetic fabrics, etc. The body of the purse 101 is made from materials, for example, cotton, hemp, synthetics and leather, etc.

    [0022] The transparent fabric panel 103 is made transparent so that the insert element 102 is easily seen when viewing the purse 101. The inner surface 103c of the transparent fabric panel 103 and the outer surface 101a of the purse 101 defines the space 103d therebetween. The adhesive strip 104 is positioned on the outer surface 101a of the purse 101 for releasably sealing the transparent fabric panel 103 with the outer surface 101a of the purse 101 as exemplarily illustrated in FIG. 1E. The adhesive strip 104 used for releasably sealing the purse 101 is, for example, a double sided sticky tape, adhered to the outer surface 101a of the purse 101 once the insert element 102 is inserted. After this step, the insert element 102 is positioned in the space 103d situated between the inner surface 103c of the transparent fabric panel 103 and the outer surface 101a of the purse 101. The backing paper of the sticky tape is removed and the outer surface 101a of the purse 101 adheres to the inner surface 103c of the transparent fabric panel 103 sealing the insert element 102 in place.

    [0023] In an embodiment, the adhesive strip 104 is replaced by other fastening elements, for example, hook and loop fasteners such as Velcro of Velcro Industries B.V. LLC, zip fasteners, button fasteners, snap fasteners, etc. Thus, the insert element 102 is positioned in the space 103d defined by the transparent fabric panel 103 for displaying the insert element 102. If the double sided sticky tape design is used as the adhesive strip 104, then the outer surface 101a of the purse 101 and the transparent fabric panel 103 would typically be made of a material, for example, a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) fabric suitable to adhere to the double sided sticky tape. The insert element 102 are, for example, a sketched image, a printed image, a photo(s) image, an art and craft object, etc. The insert element 102 is customizable based on creativity and selection of designs by different individuals. For example, the insert element 102 is an object designed by children as part of a class project. Alternately, the insert element 102 is a sketched image of a celebrity designed as a gift. Different embodiments of the present invention provide an insert element 102 that is easy to use, offers flexibility and individualisation through the craft/artwork insert design. Furthermore, articles used to design the insert element 102, for example, craft paper, fabric, etc., are cost effective and a practical, personalised, and useful item for the gift receiver or user of the purse 101. As the insert element 102 is easily customized, individuals of different age groups, different interests are capable of using the sealable display pouch 100.

In an embodiment, the inside pockets 105 are closable to securely retain the objects, for example, coins, cards, etc. For example, the pockets 105 are opened and closed by typical fastening elements. The fastening elements used are, for example, hook and loop fasteners such as Velcro of Velcro Industries B.V. LLC, zip fasteners, button fasteners, snap fasteners, etc. Additionally, one or more of the pockets 105 may have a permanent opening on one side, so notes, cards, information or photos may be stored. One or more pockets 105 may include a transparent window, so that information or photos may simply be slipped inside and viewed.

    [0025] In an embodiment, the purse 101 comprises a fastening tab 106 positioned at one end of the purse 101 and fastenable by inserting the fastening tab 106 into a loop 107 on the other end. In an embodiment, the fastening tab 106 and the loop 107 are replaced by other fastening elements, for example, hook and loop fasteners such as Velcro of Velcro Industries B.V. LLC, zip fasteners, button fasteners, snap fasteners, clasps, etc. The insert element 102 is inserted into the opening 103a of the transparent fabric panel 103 as exemplarily illustrated in FIG. 1E. The insert element 102 may, for example, be made by children to give to their parents as a gift. The children would draw or paint their artwork on paper provided and create the insert element 102. The transparent fabric panel 103 is made transparent so that the insert element 102 is easily seen when viewing the purse 101. The inner surface 103c of the transparent fabric panel 103 and the outer surface 101a of the purse 101 defines the space 103d therebetween. In an embodiment, the adhesive strip 104 is positioned on the outer surface 101a of the purse 101 and the inner surface 103c of the transparent fabric panel 103 as exemplarily illustrated in FIG. 1G, for releasably sealing the transparent fabric panel 103. The adhesive strip 104 used for releasably sealing the purse 101 is, for example, a double sided sticky tape, adhered to the outer surface 101a of the purse 101 once the insert element 102 is inserted. The adhesive strip 104 exemplarily illustrated in FIG. 1G is replaceable by other fasteners, for example, snap fasteners, magnetic fasteners, zip fasteners, etc. In another embodiment, the adhesive strip 104 is replaced by a fastenable flap that is sealed using a snap fastener. After this step, the insert element 102 is positioned in the space 103d situated between the inner surface 103c of the transparent fabric panel 103 and the outer surface 101a of the purse 101.
