CUP

Abstract

A cup in this present invention comprises a cup and a lid on top of the cup. The lid has an anti-leaking ring inside of the lid and an annular groove in arc shape used to place a ball inside of the annular groove. A positioning member above the lid has a buffering edge in arc shape at upper portion of the positioning member to block the ball as to prevent ball from lo dropping out of the annular groove. Therefore the ball can be rolled and spun randomly on the lid in order to have more fun while using.

Claims

1. A cup comprises a cup and a lid on top of the cup, in characterized that a ball is placed on an annular groove in arc shape defined on top of the lid and a buffering edge is located at upper portion of a positioning member above the lid which means the buffering edge can block the ball on annular groove in order to prevent the ball from dropping out of the lid.

2. The cup as claimed in claim 1, wherein, plural positioning protrusions located at bottom of the positioning member are plugged into a first hole defined on middle of the lid and engaged at bottom of the lid and a straw is inserted into a second hole set on middle of the positioning member and protruded inside of the cup.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0011] An exemplary embodiment of a cup in the present invention, referring to FIGS. 1-3, comprises a cup 1 and a lid 2 having an annular groove 20 in arc shape defined on top of the lid 2; a first hole 21 in stair-stepped shape set on middle of the lid 2 and an anti-leaking ring 22 installed inside of the lid 2. A ball 3 is placed on the annular groove 20 of the lid 2. A positioning member 4 placed above the lid 2 has plural positioning protrusions 40 at bottom of the positioning member 4, a second hole 41 on middle of the positioning member 4 and a buffering edge 42 in arc shape designed at upper portion of the positioning member 4. A straw 5 is inserted through the second hole 41 of the positioning member 4 and protruded inside of the cup 1.

[0012] While assembling, referring to FIG. 1-3, the anti-leaking ring 22 is installed inside of the lid 2 and the ball 3 is placed on the annular groove 20 of the lid 2 firstly. The positioning protrusions 40 are plugged through the first hole 21 of the lid 2 so that the positioning protrusions 40 can be engaged at the bottom of the lid 2 in order to fix the positioning member 4 above the lid 2. The ball 3 can be blocked and positioned by the buffering edge 42 of the positioning member 4 so as to prevent the ball 3 from dropping out of the annular groove 20 of the lid 2. The straw 5 is inserted through the second hole 41 of the positioning member 4 underneath the lid 2 and then the straw 5 is pulled upwardly so that one end of the straw 5 can be protruded from top of the positioning member 4. At last, the lid 2 is secured on top of the cup 1 so that the other end of the straw 5 can be placed inside of the cup 1.

[0013] While using, referring to FIG. 4, a user can shake the cup 1 randomly while drinking beverage or water inside of the cup 1 by using the straw 5 so that the ball 3 on the lid 2 can be freely rolled or spun along the annular groove 20 of the lid 2. Therefore, the cup 1 can have more fun while using and draw customers' attention in order to increase odds of purchase.
