[0066] The present invention arises in response to the need to provide an effective, agile, and economical construction system that is easy to assemble for the construction of various types of completely impermeable spaces, including, but not limited to, living spaces with great resistance and stability, and having the characteristics of being prefabricated and self-supporting.
[0067] The description of the embodiment of the present invention is not intended to limit its scope, but rather to serve as a particular example thereof.
[0068] It is expected that a person skilled in the art will understand that the equivalent embodiments do not depart from the spirit and scope of the present invention in its broadest form.
[0069] For a better understanding of the present invention, certain technical terms used in the description thereof will be detailed below.
[0070] In the context of the present invention, the term “undulating modules” shall be understood as the structural elements that make up the roof (in the form of an arch) of the construction system of the present invention, and the term “undulating” shall be understood as the wavy, undulating, balanced, ribbed, or warped shape of said modules.
[0071] In the context of the present invention, “straight modules with obtuse folds” shall be understood as the structural elements that, in one embodiment of the invention, make up the interior or dividing walls and facade of the construction system of the present invention.
[0072] The three-dimensional, self-supporting, prefabricated construction system (1) that is the object of the present invention comprises a plurality of arch-shaped undulating modules that form the roof of the system; said plurality comprising a plurality of curved undulating ridge modules (2) and a plurality of curved undulating roof wall modules (3). Each plurality of said curved undulating roof modules (3) has a first plurality of coupling or union elements (5) of male-female type in opposite positions, upper-lower and lateral left-lateral right, in such a way that the coupling or union elements (5) located in opposite positions are complementary to each other. Besides, each plurality of said curved undulating ridge modules (2) has a second plurality of coupling or union elements (5) of the male-female type in their corresponding lower portions, in such a way that said coupling or union elements (5) of said curved undulating ridge modules are complementary to the coupling or union elements (5) located in a superior position of said curved roof wall modules (3). Finally and essentially, said curved undulating ridge modules (2) and said curved undulating roof wall modules (3) are overlapped and interspersed with each other and connected through said coupling or union elements (5).
[0073] In this way, the curved undulating ridge modules (2) are assembled with each other in an overlapping manner, forming different types of geometric configurations or sizes of spaces in the form of an arch, optionally living spaces, as shown schematically in
[0074] The curved undulating ridge modules (2) are joined in an overlapping manner by undulating joining elements through curved undulating flanges (7) at different levels, fitting into each other. The union through curved undulating flanges (7) has a mechanism for securing the curved undulating ridge modules (2) through a male-female coupling mechanism (concave-convex), inserting one module into the other. In a preferred embodiment, without this limiting the scope of the present invention, said insertion is made with millimetric precision.
[0075] The curved undulating ridge modules (2) can change their angle depending on the size of the arch that is desired in the configuration of the construction system, as shown schematically in
[0076] The curved undulating ridge modules (2) could additionally have, without this limiting the scope of the present invention, ventilation ducts for the extraction of hot air or as a ventilation mechanism for the interior space of the construction system (1), as shown in
[0077] The curved undulating ridge modules (2) and the curved undulating roof wall modules (3) of the system allow the creation of spaces of multiple shapes with complex geometry, thanks to the overlapping assembly in different layers, which enables modular expansion both horizontally and vertically.
[0078] The overlapping assembly mechanism and the geometric configuration of this invention create the necessary rigidity and stability for the structure, making spaces completely sealed and waterproofed.
[0079] The construction system of the invention presents a fastening system for its arch-shaped curved undulating modules (2, 3), i.e., a fastening system for the curved undulating ridge modules (2) to each other; for the curved undulating roof wall modules (3) to each other; and between the curved undulating ridge modules (2) and the curved undulating roof wall modules (3). The fastening system is embedded in the construction system (1), ensuring its rigidity and stability.
[0080] Both the curved undulating ridge modules (2) and the curved undulating roof wall modules (3) are overlapped and interspersed to give structure to the construction system (1). The curved undulating ridge modules (2) and the curved undulating roof wall modules (3) are secured to each other through coupling or union elements through curved undulating flanges (7). Additionally, said security is achieved by coupling or union elements (5) of the male-female type present in said curved undulating roof wall modules (3) and said curved undulating ridge modules (2). In this way, a coupling or union element (5) present in one of said curved undulating modules is inserted into another coupling or union element (5) present in an adjacent curved undulating module, as shown schematically in
[0081] The undulating flanges (7), as joining elements, can have, without limiting the scope of the present invention, a thread-type joining or fastening mechanism, preferably the nut-type assembly, coupled with a pair of coupling or union elements (5) present in the corresponding curved undulating modules (2, 3). In this preferred embodiment, without this limiting the scope of the present invention, said thread-type joining or fastening mechanism is inserted inside the geometry of the respective module and is secured through a lid mechanism (6), being the lid glued and completely sealing the thread-type joining or fastening mechanism, as schematically shown in
[0082] The coupling or union mechanism through curved undulating flanges (7) allows that, when the curved undulating ridge modules (2) and the curved undulating roof wall modules (3) are coupled, they are perfectly aligned with each other, transmitting the tension and compression forces of the arch-type construction system (1) continuously and harmonically.
[0083] Both the curved undulating ridge modules (2) and the curved undulating roof wall modules (3) can be assembled with each other through the curved undulating flanges (7). Furthermore, as an example and without limiting the scope of the present invention, the curved undulating modules (2, 3), in turn, can be coupled at two or more different levels of height, as shown in
[0084] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the curved undulating ridge modules (2) and the curved undulating roof wall modules (3) are coupled at two or three different height levels. That allows to secure the structure and confer impermeability and stability of the construction system (1), ensuring complete sealing of the same without using silicone-type glue or any other glue.
[0085] As schematically shown in
[0086] The curved undulating modules (2, 3) for the configuration of the roof/cover of the construction system (1), that is, the curved undulating ridge modules (2) and the curved undulating roof wall modules (3), can be fixed permanently to the straight modules (8) with obtuse folds used for the configuration of walls or dividing walls and facade or can be removable (portable), without this limiting the scope of the present invention.
[0087] In one embodiment of the invention, without this limiting the scope of the requested protection, the straight modules (8) with obtuse folds used for the configuration of walls or dividing walls and facade are permanently fixed to the curved undulating ridge modules (2) and the curved undulating roof wall modules (3) or only to the curved undulating roof wall modules (3) through a glue. In a more preferred embodiment of the invention, said glue is of the epoxy type.
[0088] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, without this limiting the scope of the invention, the curved undulating roof wall modules (3) are fixed in a removable manner to the straight modules (8) with obtuse folds used for the configuration of walls or dividing walls and facade of the system through an inverted “U” shaped channel (4), as illustrated in
[0089] In any of the embodiments of the present invention in which an inverted “U”-shaped channel (4) is part of the system, said inverted “U”-shaped channel (4) can, preferably and without limiting the scope of the present invention, have a dual-lock type sealing system attached, as shown in
[0090] In any of the embodiments of the present invention in which an inverted “U”-shaped channel (4) is part of the system, said inverted “U”-shaped channel (4) can preferably, without limiting the scope of the present invention, be attached to the curved undulating ridge modules (2) and the curved undulating roof wall modules (3) through an epoxy-type glue.
[0091] In a preferred embodiment, without this limiting the scope of the present invention (2, 3), the curved undulating modules used for the configuration of the roof of the construction system (1) can be fixed to the floor through a fixing or anchoring element (9). For this, said fixing element (9) has a plurality of coupling or union elements (5), complementary to those present in the lower position of said curved undulating roof wall modules (3), which connect said fixing element (9) with said curved undulating roof wall modules (3), as schematically shown in
[0092] In one embodiment of the invention, without this limiting its scope, the curved undulating modules (2, 3) used for the configuration of the roof of the construction system (1) and the straight modules (8) with obtuse folds used for the configurations of walls or dividing walls and the facade are fixed perpendicularly to each other through a hinge system (10). In a preferred embodiment, without this limiting the scope of the present invention, said hinge system (10) can have an inverted “U” shaped module, as shown schematically in
[0093] In any embodiment in which a hinge system (10) is present, this system can have, without limiting the scope of the present invention, a dual-lock type sealing system that couples it to the curved undulating modules (2. 3).
[0094] As shown in
[0095] In those preferred embodiments in which straight modules (8) are included, as shown in
[0096] The construction system (1) may comprise, in a preferred embodiment and without this limiting the scope of the present invention, curved undulating roof wall modules (3) having window modules (14) made up of a single whole piece that keeps the respective symmetry and couples to the respective curved undulating roof wall modules (3), as shown in
