Abstract
The desk with dual desktops includes a first desk member having a first desktop and a number of desk legs beneath the first desktop, and a second desk member joined to a side of the first desk member and having a number of desk legs, a number of support beams on top of the desk legs, and a second desktop above and supported by the support beams. The first desk member and the second desk member can be arranged into an L shape, a T shape, an I shape, or an inverted L shape to suit user's need. By the support beams, the second desktop has an adjustable height that may be selectively configured to be at a different height from that of the first desktop.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0020] The following descriptions are exemplary embodiments only, and are not intended to limit the scope, applicability or configuration of the invention in any way. Rather, the following description provides a convenient illustration for implementing exemplary embodiments of the invention. Various changes to the described embodiments may be made in the function and arrangement of the elements described without departing from the scope of the invention as set forth in the appended claims.
[0021] As shown in
[0022] a first desk member 1 having a first desktop 11 and a number of desk legs 12 beneath the first desktop 11; and
[0023] a second desk member 2 joined to a side of the first desk member 1 and having a number of desk legs 21, a number of support beams 22 on top of the desk legs 21, and a second desktop 23 above and supported by the support beams 22. By the support beams 22, the second desktop 23 has an adjustable height that may be selectively configured to be at a different height from that of the first desktop 11.
[0024] The second desk member 2 is joined to a side of the first desk member 1 so that the second desktop 23 and the first desktop 11 selectively form a L shape, a T shape, a I shape, or an inverted L shape of equal or different heights to fit the application setting. For example, during a meeting, the second desktop 23 and the first desktop 11 can form into a T shape or an I shape, and a projector 4 is placed on the second desktop 23 of a greater height. Alternatively, depending on a user's preference, the first desk member 1 can be joined to a left or right side of the first desk member 1, as shown in
[0025] With the first desk member 1 and the second desk member 2, they can be arranged into an L shape, a T shape, an I shape, or an inverted L shape to suit a user 3's need. The second desktop 23 can be raised to different heights and apparatuses like a notebook computer, a printer, a projector 4, or a screen 5, can be placed on the second desktop 23, as shown in
[0026] There are a number of positioning notches 231 on a bottom side of the second desktop 23, and each support beam 22 has a top end configured with a positioning block 221. By embedding the positioning blocks 221 of the support beams 22 into the appropriate notches 231 of the second desktop 23, the second desktop 23 may be supported at different heights above the desk legs 21.
[0027] While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the claims of the present invention.
