    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0030] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, a hairbrush 1 in accordance with a first preferred embodiment of the invention comprises a base 11 and a handle 13. The base 11 is cylindrical and includes a plurality of rows of bristles 111. A flexible member 12 interconnects the base 11 and the handle 13. The flexible nature of the flexible member 12 enables the base 11 to flex relative to the handle 13. Thus, the base 11 may flexibly touch the scalp when brushing on the head. A person using the hairbrush 1 in hair care for smoothing and detangling the hair may feel a degree of comfort. Details of the first preferred embodiment of the invention are described below.

[0031] The flexible member 12 includes a plurality of curved parts 121 and a plurality of straight parts 122 alternated with the curved parts 121. The topmost curved part 121 is connected to the base 11 and the bottommost curved part 121 is connected to the handle 13. Preferably, but not limited to, the curved parts 121 and the straight parts 122 together form a structure having an S-shaped longitudinal section. The hairbrush 1 is flexible due to the flexible member 12. Further, the structure having an S-shaped longitudinal section and interconnecting the base 11 and the handle 13 makes the hairbrush 1 more flexible. This is a double flexibility. Therefore, a person using the hairbrush 1 in hair care for smoothing and detangling the hair may feel a degree of comfort. In other embodiments, but not limited to, the flexible member 12 is implemented as a flexible plate. The flexible member 12 is made of plastic or rubber.

[0032] The handle 13 includes a through hole 131 proximate an end distal the flexible member 12. A person may put the hairbrush 1 on a hook by inserting the hook through the through hole 131 in a non-use state. Preferably, the through hole 131 has a curved longitudinal section.

[0033] Referring to FIGS. 5 to 8, a hairbrush 2 in accordance with a second preferred embodiment of the invention comprises a base 21 and a handle 23. The base 21 includes a plurality of rows of bristles 211. A flexible member 22 interconnects the base 21 and the handle 23. The flexible nature of the flexible member 22 enables the base 21 to flex relative to the handle 23. Thus, the base 21 may flexibly touch the scalp when brushing on the head. A person using the hairbrush 2 in hair care for smoothing and detangling the hair may feel a degree of comfort. Details of the second preferred embodiment of the invention are described below.

[0034] The flexible member 22 includes a plurality of curved parts 221 and a plurality of straight parts 222 alternated with the curved parts 221. The topmost curved part 221 is connected to the base 21 and the bottommost curved part 221 is connected to the handle 23. Preferably, but not limited to, the curved parts 221 and the straight parts 222 together form a structure having an S-shaped longitudinal section. The hairbrush 2 is flexible due to the flexible member 22. Further, the structure having an S-shaped longitudinal section and interconnecting the base 21 and the handle 23 makes the hairbrush 2 more flexible. This is a double flexibility. Therefore, a person using the hairbrush 2 in hair care for smoothing and detangling the hair may feel a degree of comfort. In other embodiments, but not limited to, the flexible member 22 is implemented as a flexible plate. The flexible member 22 is made of plastic or rubber.

[0035] The handle 23 includes a through hole 231 proximate an end distal the flexible member 22. A person may put the hairbrush 2 on a hook by inserting the hook through the through hole 231 in a non-use state. Preferably, the through hole 231 has a curved longitudinal section.

[0036] The base 21 includes a recess 212 for facilitating the smoothing and detangling of the hair (i.e., the base 21 being hollow). The base 21 is plate-shaped and has a longitudinal section of circle, oval or rectangle. For example, for the base 21 having a rectangular longitudinal section, the base 21 includes a rectangular frame 213, a first winding part 214, and a first central connection point 215. The first winding part 214 is symmetrically disposed at two sides of the first central connection point 215 along a lengthwise direction of the rectangular frame 213. The first winding part 214 includes a curved section 216 and an irregularly shaped section 217. One end of the curved section 216 is connected to the rectangular frame 213 and the other end thereof is connect to one end of the irregularly shaped section 217. The other end of the irregularly shaped section 217 is connected to the first central connection point 215. The first central connection point 215 is disposed in an intermediate portion of the rectangular frame 213.

[0037] Referring to FIGS. 5 to 12, a hairbrush 3 in accordance with a third preferred embodiment of the invention comprises a base 31 and a handle 33. The base 31 includes a plurality of rows of bristles 311. A flexible member 32 interconnects the base 31 and the handle 33. The flexible nature of the flexible member 32 enables the base 31 to flex relative to the handle 33. Thus, the base 31 may flexibly touch the scalp when brushing on the head. A person using the hairbrush 3 in hair care for smoothing and detangling the hair may feel a degree of comfort. Details of the third preferred embodiment of the invention are described below.

[0038] The flexible member 32 includes a plurality of curved parts 321 and a plurality of straight parts 322 alternated with the curved parts 321. The topmost curved part 321 is connected to the base 31 and the bottommost curved part 321 is connected to the handle 33. Preferably, but not limited to, the curved parts 321 and the straight parts 322 together form a structure having an S-shaped longitudinal section. The hairbrush 3 is flexible due to the flexible member 32. Further, the structure having an S-shaped longitudinal section and interconnecting the base 31 and the handle 33 makes the hairbrush 3 more flexible. This is a double flexibility. Therefore, a person using the hairbrush 3 in hair care for smoothing and detangling the hair may feel a degree of comfort. In other embodiments, but not limited to, the flexible member 32 is implemented as a flexible plate. The flexible member 32 is made of plastic or rubber.

[0039] The handle 33 includes a through hole 331 proximate an end distal the flexible member 32. A person may put the hairbrush 3 on a hook by inserting the hook through the through hole 331 in a non-use state. Preferably, the through hole 331 has a curved longitudinal section.

[0040] The base 31 includes a recess 312 for facilitating the smoothing and detangling of the hair. The base 31 is plate-shaped and has a longitudinal section of circle, oval or rectangle. For example, for the base 31 having an oval longitudinal section, the base 31 includes an oval frame 313, a second winding part 314, and a second central connection point 315. The second winding part 314 is symmetrically disposed at two sides of the second central connection point 315 along a lengthwise direction of the oval frame 313. The second winding part 314 includes an outer curved section 316 and an inner curved section 317. One end of the outer curved section 316 is connected to the oval frame 313 and the other end thereof is connect to one end of the inner curved section 317. The other end of the inner curved section 317 is connected to the second central connection point 315. The second central connection point 315 is disposed in an intermediate portion of the oval frame 313.

[0041] Referring to FIG. 13, it shows the hairbrush 2 of the invention being used in hair care for smoothing and detangling the hair of a woman. The flexible member 22 interconnects the base 21 and the handle 23.

[0042] While the invention has been described in terms of preferred embodiments, those skilled in the art will recognize that the invention can be practiced with modifications within the spirit and scope of the appended claims.
