DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS
[0011] Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure will be described hereinafter in detail with reference to the attached drawings, wherein the like reference numerals refer to the like elements. The present disclosure may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as being limited to the embodiment set forth herein; rather, these embodiments are provided so that the present disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the concept of the disclosure to those skilled in the art.
[0012] In the following detailed description, for purposes of explanation, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the disclosed embodiments. It will be apparent, however, that one or more embodiments may be practiced without these specific details. In other instances, well-known structures and devices are schematically shown in order to simplify the drawing.
[0013] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a cable coiling device includes a cable coiling mechanism coiling a cable to form a cable roll. A cable clamping mechanism of the device clamps and fixes an end segment of the cable during coiling the cable. The end segment has a predetermined length and is adapted to be processed while the cable is coiled. Thus, by clamping the cable by the cable clamping mechanism, various processing operations can be carried out on the reserved non coiled end segment while the cable is coiled by the cable coiling mechanism, such as but not limited to separating the strand of the smooth cable by the operator or other tools, peeling, spreading the braided wire, crimping electronic components such as terminals on the core wire, etc. This can effectively reduce the cable processing time and improve the work efficiency.
[0014] According to another exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, a cable processing system suitable for performing a variety of processing operations on a cable such as a power cable, an optical cable, etc., including but not limited to cable roll, bundling, etc., is provided. In the illustrated embodiment, the cable processing system includes a support frame 100 and a cable coiling device 200 provided on the support frame 100. The cable coiling device 200 is used to receive the cable 1 supplied along a feeding direction R and coil the cable 1 into a cable roll 11 including multiple turns or multiple turns of cable.
[0015] As shown in
[0016] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the cable coiling device 200 also includes a cable clamping mechanism 230 for clamping the end segment 12 during coiling the cable 1 by the cable coiling mechanism 210, for example, clamping the end segment 12 at a position separated from the cable coiling mechanism 210 so that at least a part of the end segment 12, for example, the part of the end segment 12 located on the side opposite to the cable coiling mechanism 210 of the cable clamping mechanism 230 can be fixed during coiling the cable 1 by the cable coiling mechanism 210.
[0017] Thus, while the cable coiling mechanism 210 coils the cable 1, the end segment 12 of the cable 1 is clamped and is not coiled, and therefore, some operation processes can be carried out on the end segment 12. These operations include, but are not limited to, separating the strands of the smooth cable, peeling, spreading the braided wire, crimping electronic components such as terminals on the core wire by an operator or other tools. This can effectively reduce the cable processing time and improve the work efficiency.
[0018] The cable coiling device 200 may also include a spacer plate 201, which is fixed on the support frame 100, for example, and the cable clamping mechanism 230 and the cable coiling mechanism 210 are respectively installed on the opposite sides of the partition plate 201. As shown in
[0019] As shown in
[0020] The cable clamping mechanism 230 may be fixedly provided with respect to the coiling disc 211. Thus, unlike the way in which the coiling disc rotates to coil the cable in the prior art, according to the cable coiling device of the present disclosure, during the coiling of the cable 1, the coiling disc 211, the cable clamping mechanism 230 and the clamped end segment 12 remain stationary, and the rolling wheel 212 pushes the fed cable 1 to rotate for coiling.
[0021] According to an exemplary embodiment, the rolling wheel 212 is installed or positioned to engage or contact with the fed cable 1 with its peripheral surface during the coiling of the cable 1 by the cable coiling mechanism 210, and the rolling wheel 212 can rotate about an axis extending in the radial direction of the coiling disc 211. As a result, the rolling wheel 212 rotates around the axis by engagement with the cable 1 fed in the feeding direction R during cable roll, so as to push the cable 1 to rotate along the circumferential direction of the coiling disc 211 and coil it on the outer circumference of the coiling disc 211.
[0022] The rolling wheel 212 may be installed, or adapted, to be able to extend out and retract back in the radial direction of the coiling disc 211. The rolling wheel 212 is extended out radially during coiling the cable by the cable coiling mechanism 210 to engage with the cable 1 (as shown in
[0023] In the illustrated embodiment, the cable coiling mechanism also includes a coiling arm 213, one end of the coiling arm 213 is equipped with the rolling wheel 212, and the opposite end of the coiling arm is connected with a rotating shaft 214 extending through the coiling disc 211 (such as through the central hole 218 of the coiling disc 211) in the feeding direction R. The rotation of the rotating shaft 213 drives the coiling arm 213 and the rolling wheel 212 mounted thereon to rotate relative to the coiling disc 211 along the circumferential direction of the coiling disc 211.
[0024] According to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the cable coiling device also includes a driving module 220, which includes at least a driving mechanism for driving the coiling of the cable. As shown in the figure, the driving module 220 can be separated from the cable coiling mechanism 210. For example, it is located on the side opposite to the cable coiling mechanism 210 of the spacer plate 201 and can be fixed on the spacer plate 201. For example, the driving module 220 includes a housing and a first drive mechanism 221 installed in the housing, such as a motor, which is configured to drive the rotation of the rotating shaft 214, so as to drive the coiling arm 213 and the rolling wheel 212 installed thereon to rotate relative to the coiling disc 211 along the circumferential direction of the coiling disc 211.
[0025] As shown in
[0026] As shown in
[0027] As shown in
[0028] As shown in
[0029] In some embodiments, as shown in
[0030] As shown in
[0031] In the exemplary embodiment, the cable bundling device 300 can move upward in the vertical direction when it is necessary to bundle the cable roll 11, so that the bundling wire 301 at least partially winds around the cable roll 11 and bundles the cable roll 11. The cable bundling device 300 moves downward during coiling the cable 1 by the cable coiling device 200, so as not to interfere with the coiling of the cable. For example, a lifting device 350 fixed on the lower support plate 102 may be provided for lifting at least the components of the cable bundling device 300 for bundling the cable roll.
[0032] Referring to
[0033] In the illustrated embodiment, the cable bundling device 300 may also be provided with a cable roll receiving structure 370, such as two spaced plates with U-shaped openings, which are used to receive at least the part of the cable roll 11 to be bundled. The wire twisting mechanism 320 may be located between the two plates. In addition, a cutter 380 may be provided between the wire feeding device 330 and the wire twisting mechanism 320 to cut the bundling wire after the wire feeding device 330 has fed a segment of bundling wire with sufficient length, so that the wire twisting mechanism 320 can twist and wind the front end of the bundling wire segment to bundle the cable roll 11.
