    Abstract

    An all-in-one coverall device to accommodate temperature changes and/or work conditions throughout the day is disclosed. The device is a modifiable coverall garment featuring multiple removably attachable components connected by zippers. The device also features an adjustable elastic drawstring waistband. Thus, via attaching or detaching the different components of the device with the various zippers and/or adjusting the waistband, a user can quickly and easily configure the device to fit their needs and weather/work conditions.

    Claims

    1. A convertible coverall garment comprising: an upper body component; a lower body component; two long sleeve components; and two long pant components; wherein said lower body component selectively detachable from said upper body component; wherein said two long sleeve components selectively detachable from said upper body component; and further wherein said two long pant components selectively detachable from said lower body component.

    2. The convertible coverall garment of claim 1, wherein said upper body component covering a torso and upper arms of a user.

    3. The convertible coverall garment of claim 2 further comprising a horizontal zipper for selectively attaching said upper body component to said lower body component.

    4. The convertible coverall garment of claim 3, wherein said upper body component having a vertical torso zipper.

    5. The convertible coverall garment of claim 4, wherein said upper body component having a pair of elbow zippers.

    6. The convertible coverall garment of claim 5, wherein said horizontal zipper is a horizontal waist zipper.

    7. The convertible coverall garment of claim 6, wherein a first mating part of said horizontal waist zipper positioned around a lower edge of said upper body component.

    8. The convertible coverall garment of claim 7, wherein a second mating part of said horizontal waist zipper positioned around an upper edge of said lower body component.

    9. The convertible coverall garment of claim 8, wherein said vertical torso zipper extends from the neck of said upper body component to said lower edge of said upper body component.

    10. The convertible coverall garment of claim 5, wherein said pair of elbow zippers selectively actuated for selectively detaching said two long sleeve components from said upper body component.

    11. The convertible coverall garment of claim 4, wherein said lower body component having a pair of knee zippers.

    12. The convertible coverall garment of claim 10, wherein said pair of knee zippers selectively actuated for selectively detaching said two long pant components from said lower body component.

    13. The convertible coverall garment of claim 11, wherein said lower body component having an elastic drawstring waistband.

    14. The convertible coverall garment of claim 12, wherein said vertical torso zipper, said horizontal waist zipper, and said elbow zippers having fabric flaps for concealment.

    15. The convertible coverall garment of claim 13, wherein said upper body component and said lower body component having a material selected from the group consisting of a HDPE, a nylon, a heat-sealable plastic, a polypropylene, a polycarbonate, a polyethylene, a polyethylene terephthalate, a polyvinyl chloride, and a polystyrene.

    16. A convertible coverall garment comprising: an upper body component; a lower body component; two long sleeve components; two long pant components; and a horizontal zipper; wherein said lower body component selectively detachable from said upper body component; wherein said two long sleeve components selectively detachable from said upper body component; wherein said two long pant components selectively detachable from said lower body component; wherein said horizontal zipper is a horizontal waist zipper; and further wherein said horizontal zipper for selectively attaching said upper body component to said lower body component.

    17. The convertible coverall garment of claim 16, wherein said upper body component covering a torso and upper arms of a user.

    18. The convertible coverall garment of claim 17, wherein said upper body component having a vertical torso zipper extending from the neck of said upper body component to a lower edge of said upper body component.

    19. The convertible coverall garment of claim 18, wherein said upper body component having a pair of elbow zippers.

    20. A convertible coverall garment comprising: an upper body component; a lower body component; two long sleeve components; two long pant components; a horizontal zipper; and a vertical torso zipper; wherein said lower body component selectively detachable from said upper body component; wherein said two long sleeve components selectively detachable from said upper body component; wherein said two long pant components selectively detachable from said lower body component; wherein said horizontal zipper is a horizontal waist zipper; wherein said horizontal zipper for selectively attaching said upper body component to said lower body component; wherein a first mating part of said horizontal waist zipper positioned around a lower edge of said upper body component; wherein a second mating part of said horizontal waist zipper positioned around an upper edge of said lower body component; and further wherein said vertical torso zipper extends from the neck of said upper body component to said lower edge of said upper body component.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

    [0031] As noted above, there is a long felt need in the art for an all-in-one coverall or overall device that provides users with coveralls that can be adjusted to accommodate shorts, pants, short sleeves, or long sleeves. There is also a long felt need in the art for an all-in-one coverall device that features multiple zippers that can attach or detach different areas of the garment to create the perfect outfit. Further, there is a long felt need in the art for an all-in-one coverall device that includes an clastic drawstring waistband to adjust the pants or shorts to a comfortable size. Finally, there is a long felt need in the art for an all-in-one coverall device that enables users to customize the look and feel of their coveralls throughout the day with case and convenience.

    [0032] The present invention, in one exemplary embodiment, is a novel all-in-one coverall or overall device that is easily modifiable to accommodate changing temperatures throughout the day. The all-in-one coverall device comprises an upper body component, lower body component, long sleeve components, and long pant components all connected with various zippers to create a coverall garment. The lower body component also comprises an adjustable drawstring elastic waistband embedded within the waist area. Thus, once the device is donned a user may adjust the waistband and remove or attach different components to suit their comfort while working, traveling, or during other activities. The present invention also includes a novel method of conveniently modifying the look and feel of the all-in-one coverall or overall device. The method includes the first step of providing an all-in-one coverall device comprising an upper body component, long sleeve components, a lower body component, and long pant components connected by a variety of zippers. The method also comprises donning the fully assembled all-in-one coverall device. Further, the method comprises removing the reversibly attachable long sleeve components from the upper body component. Additionally, the method comprises removing the reversibly attachable long pant components from the lower body component. Finally, the method comprises utilizing the device while working, traveling, or during other activities.

    [0033] Referring initially to the drawings, FIG. 1 illustrates a perspective view of one embodiment of the front and back of the all-in-one coverall device 100 of the present invention in the fully assembled configuration. In the present embodiment, the all-in-one coverall device 100 is an improved all-in-one coverall device 100 that provides a user with a convertible coverall garment. Specifically, the all-in-one coverall device 100 comprises an upper body component 110, two long sleeve components 120, a lower body component 130, and two long pant components 140. These components are removably attachable to one another to provide the ability to modify the all-in-one coverall device 100 to accommodate for varying temperatures while working, traveling, or during other activities.

    [0034] FIG. 2 shows the front of the all-in-one coverall device 100 both fully assembled and fully detached. The upper body component 110 of the device 100 covers the torso and upper arms of the user and attaches to the lower body component 130 via a horizontal waist zipper 114. One side of the horizontal waist zipper 114 is featured around the lower edge of the upper body garment 110, and the corresponding side (i.e., mating part) of the horizontal waist zipper 114 is located around the top edge of the lower body component 130. The upper body component also comprises a vertical torso zipper 112, elbow zippers 116, a collar 118, and pockets 150. The vertical torso zipper runs down the front of the upper body component 110 from the neck to the waist and assists in the donning of the all-in-one coverall or overall device 100. The elbow zippers 116 are located around the edges of the sleeves of the upper body component 100, and generally fall at the elbow area. These elbow zippers 116 are used to removably attach two long sleeve components 120, one on each arm. The vertical torso zipper 112, horizontal waist zipper 114, and elbow zippers 116 are all concealed behind fabric flaps 160 while not in use.

    [0035] Further, the lower body component 130 covers the user from the waist to the knee and features a vertical groin zipper 132, knee zippers 134, an elastic drawstring waistband 136, and pockets 150. The vertical groin zipper 132 assists in the donning of the device 100 and using the restroom while wearing the device 100. Knee zippers 134 are located around the bottom edges of each leg of the lower body component and are used to attach two long pant components 140, one on each leg. The vertical groin zipper 132 and knee zippers 134 are concealed by fabric flaps 160 while not in use. The elastic drawstring waistband 136 is concealed within the upper edge of the lower body component 130 and enables for adjustment of the waist circumference of the device 100 to suit the needs of the user. Pockets 150 found on the upper body component 110 and the lower body component 130 can be used to hold writing utensils, tools, or any other belongings of the user while working, traveling, or performing other activities.

    [0036] Shown in FIG. 3 is a perspective view of one embodiment of the back of the all-in-one coverall device 100 of the present invention in both fully assembled and fully detached configurations. Additional pockets 150 are featured on the back of the lower body component 130.
