    Description

    BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0022] Preferred embodiments of the invention are illustrated hereinafter with the aid of FIGS. 1 and 2, in which:

[0023] FIG. 1 shows a schematic representation of various aspects of the disclosure; and

[0024] FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of various aspects of the disclosure.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF ASPECTS OF THE DISCLOSURE

[0025] FIG. 1 shows a schematic representation of the rebound net arrangement according to the invention with a support 1 and rebound net 2. The rectangular rebound net 2 has a surrounding net edge 3 with recesses 4, 4 in the corners 5. The rebound net preferably has a net width w.sub.N of 2.42 m and a net height h.sub.N of 1.74 m. The two recesses 4 remote from the ground are each provided an eyelet 6, to which is fastened a cable 7 for tightening the rebound net 2. A cable loop 8 is drawn through each of the two recesses 4 close to the ground. The cable loops 8 are fastened to the ground by means of anchoring pegs 9. In addition, two outwardly guyed posts 10 are provided, which have fastening means 11 at a corresponding height h.sub.P1 on which the two cables 7 remote from the ground are fastened. The posts 10 are formed of several parts and can be assembled together. The rebound net 2 is tensioned between the anchoring pegs 9 and the fastening means 11 on the posts 10 mounted vertically on the ground by means of ground contact plates. The fastening of the rebound net 2 to the ground takes place above the plane spanning the posts 10. The arrangement of the fastening means 11 on the posts 10 takes place seen from the ground at a height h.sub.P1 that is less than the net height h.sub.N. The resultant inclination of the rebound net 2 relative to the plane spanned by the posts 10 is preferably between 20 and 30, in particular 26.5.

[0026] In an advantageous embodiment the posts 10 are dimensioned so that they significantly project beyond the rebound net 2, preferably by 50% to 100% of the height h.sub.P1 from the ground contact plate as far as the fastening means 11. At the ends 12 of the posts 10 remote from the ground further fastening means 13, preferably eyelets, are provided for fastening a ball protection net 14. The ball protection net 14 is stretched between the posts 10 and is guyed with cables outwardly in the plane spanning the posts 10. The ball protection net 14 is of trapezoidal shape and extends in the installed state beyond the rebound net 2 both laterally and upwardly. The ball protection net 14 holds the ball in the area of the playing field and provides reliable protection for spectators.

[0027] Preferably the fastening means 11 are arranged on the posts 10 so that the two posts 10 can be used to fasten a second rebound net 2 on the rear side. In this embodiment the posts 10 are placed between the two rebound nets 2, 2 and the two rebound nets 2, 2 are respectively tensioned outwardly in opposite directions with respect to the ground. The ball protection net 14 thus fulfills its function when playing on both rebound nets 2, 2,' and prevents play on one rebound net 2, 2 being disturbed by the play on the other rebound net 2, 2.

[0028] A further embodiment is shown in a perspective view in FIG. 2. In contrast to the above embodiment, in addition to the posts 10 a frame construction 15 is provided that completely surrounds the rebound nets 2, 2 and in which the rebound nets 2, 2 are clamped. In this case, for reasons of stability it may be envisaged that the posts 10 are joined at ground level to the frame construction 15, e.g. by bars16, 17, which are fastened to the ground portion of the frame construction as well as to posts at ground level, in order to enlarge the ground contact area. In this case only the ball protection net is directly fastened to the posts. The upper parts of the frame construction 15 may be fastened to the posts 10 or, alternatively, may be fastened to each other, either directly via a connecting bolt or by use of an interposed bar, to which the upper portions of the frame construction 15 are connected.

[0029] Naturally, it is also possible to use a frame construction 15 only for an embodiment comprising only one rebound net 2 wherein the posts 10 may be connected to the one frame construction 15 at ground level, e.g. by means of a bar 16.

[0030] The rebound net arrangements according to the invention provide for a simple construction of a rebound net for playing Futchi, in which the rebound net arrangements can be transported particularly easily and can be used to put up two rebound nets.
