Abstract

An article having a substantially flat front-facing surface portion and an opposite-facing flat back-facing surface portion, where the front-facing surface portion and the back-facing surface portion are substantially parallel one with respect to the other, and where the front-facing surface portion and the back-facing surface portion extend to and are bounded by a first, a second and a third edge, where each of the first, second and third edges are arcuate and are joined end-to-end at a first apex, a second apex, and a third apex

Claims

1. An article comprising: a substantially flat front-facing surface portion and an opposite-facing flat back-facing surface portion, where the front-facing surface portion and the back-facing surface portion are substantially parallel one with respect to the other, and where the front-facing surface portion and the back-facing surface portion extend to and are bounded by a first, a second and a third edge, where each of the first, second and third edges are arcuate and are joined end-to-end at a first apex, a second apex, and a third apex; and a through-hole extending through and from the front-facing surface portion, to and through the opposite-facing surface and proximate one of the first, second, and third apexes.

2. The article as recited in claim 1, where two of the first, the second and the third edges are equal in length.

3. The article as recited in claim 1, where the first, the second and the third edges are bull nose edges.

Referring to FIG. 1, a front, bottom and right side perspective view of the ornament 100 for attachment on apparel is shown. One implementation includes an article 100 for attachment to apparel including, a substantially flat front-facing surface portion 102 and an opposite-facing flat back-facing surface portion 104, where the front-facing surface portion 102 and the back-facing surface portion 104 are substantially parallel one with respect to the other, and where the front-facing surface portion 102 and the back-facing surface portion 104 extend to and are bounded by a first 106, a second 108 and a third edge 110, where each of the first 106, second 108 and third 110 edges are arcuate in shape and are joined end-to-end at a first apex 112, a second apex 114, and a third apex 116. For one implementation a first end of edge 106 meets a first end of edge 110 at apex 112. For one implementation, a second end of edge 106, opposite the first end of 106, meet at a first end of edge 108. For one implementation, a second end of edge 110, opposite the first end of 110, meet at a second end of edge 108. For one implementation, the article 100 includes a through-hole 118 extending through and from the front-facing surface portion 102, to and through the opposite-facing surface 104 and proximate one of the first 112, second 114, and third 116 apexes. For one implementation, two of the first 106, the second 108 and the third edges 110 are equal in length. For one implementation, all three of the first, the second and the third edges are equal in length. For one implementation, the first, the second and the third edges are bull nose edges.
