    Abstract

An apparatus and method of consuming a smoke-able substance that includes the steps of: inserting fluid into a bottle through a top opening and placing a removable bowl onto a top opening of the bottle. A filter may be inserted within the removable bowl enable to receive a smoke-able substance. A user then ignites the smoke-able substance with a flame, while simultaneously releasing fluid in the bottle by removing a bottom plug. The releasing fluid allows the transfer of smoke from the ignited smoke-able substance into the bottle as the fluid transfers from the bottle. After smoke engulfs the bottle, the user seals the fluid opening with the bottom plug and consumes the smoke by removing the removable bowl from the top opening of the bottle.

    Claims

    1. A method of consuming a smoke-able substance comprising the steps of: inserting fluid into a bottle through a top opening; placing a removable bowl onto a top opening of the bottle; placing a filter onto the removable bowl; inserting a smoke-able substance within the filter; igniting the smoke-able substance with a flame; releasing fluid in the bottle by releasing a bottom plug; allowing the transfer of smoke from the ignited smoke-able substance into the bottle as the fluid transfers from the bottle; sealing the fluid opening with the bottom plug; removing the removable bowl from the top opening of the bottle; and consuming any enclosed smoke within the bottle.

    2. The method of consuming a smokable substance according to claim 1 wherein step of igniting is accomplished with a lighter.

    3. The method of consuming a smokable substance according to claim 1, wherein the fluid is water.

    4. The method of consuming according to claim 1, wherein said bottle is at least one of a 1-liter or 2-liter volume bottle.

    5. The method of consuming according to claim 1, wherein the bottle includes threads adapted to receive the removable bowl.

    6. The method of consuming according to claim 1, wherein the removable bowl includes a plurality of small openings to allow for air transfer through the removable bowl.

    7. A smoking apparatus comprising: a smoking assembly; a bottle, wherein said bottle is adapted to receive the smoking bowl assembly; a bottom opening within the bottle; a removable plug adapted to seal the bottle opening; and a top opening adapted to receive the smoking bowl assembly.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0010] The present invention relates to a smoking bowl that is attached to a bottle and screwed thereupon for consumption of tobacco or medical marijuana. The present invention enables a user to allow the release of fluid from the bottle to effectively draw a lit smoking bowl. The release of the water creates a vacuum and therefore, allows the suction of smoke into the bottle for consumption by the user.

[0011] FIG. 1A shows a smoking bowl assembly 10 according to the present invention. The smoking bowl assembly 10 includes a cap 16 and an opening 12 which exposes a smoking bowl 14. Bowl 14 is somewhat cylindrical and allows for a sufficient volume of product to be placed within the bowl opening 12. A top view of the opening 12 is shown with smaller openings that allow transfer of air to the bowl 14.

[0012] The smoking bowl assembly 10 is shown with a filter 13 in FIG. 1A. The filter 13 includes an opening 13a and a bottom opening 13b to allow the transfer of air and smoke therethrough. FIG. 1B shows a top view of the cap 16 and opening 12 of the bowl assembly 10. During use, filter 13 is placed with the opening 12 to allow the consumption of a smokable material 40 as shown in FIG. 1C. FIG. 1C depicts a cross sectional view of the smoking bowl 14 and shows how air is pulled into the filter 13 with the smoke-able substance within the filter.

[0013] FIG. 2 depicts the components of the complete smoking apparatus according to the present invention. The smoking apparatus comprises of a bottle 20, Filter 13 and a smoking bowl assembly 10. The bottle 20 may be a conventional bottle such as a 1-liter or 2-liter bottle that is conventionally used for beverages. This particular bottle 20, however, includes an opening 22 at the bottom of the bottle 20. A plug 26 is used to plug the opening 22 and to allow user to fill the bottle 20 with water to prepare for use. A twist-on opening 24 is shown at the top of the bottle 20 adapted to receive the smoking bowl assembly 10.

[0014] FIG. 3 shows the placement of the smoking bowl assembly 10 onto the bottle 20 with the plug 26 inserted into the bottle 20. FIG. 3 further shows water or any other suitable fluid 30 within the bottle 20. This fluid 30 leaves an air pocket 32 at the top of the bottle 20 as shown in FIG. 3.

[0015] FIG. 4 shows the ignition of a smoke-able material within the filter 13 with a lighter 42 and flame 44. The fluid 30 is released through opening 22 upon release of plug 26 and enables the accumulation of the smoke within the air pocket 32 of the bottle 20. The fluid 30 shown within bottle 20 is released through the opening 22. As this fluid 30 is released, smoke accumulates in the air pocket 32 within the bottle 20. Once the fluid is completely drained, smoke occupies the air pocket 32 of the bottle 20. The user may then place plug 26 back onto the opening 22 then release or screw off the bowl assembly 10 to allow for easy consumption of the smoke within the bottle.

[0016] Some of the advantages of this invention enable the consumer to consume the smoke in a cool condition and also, it doesn't require the strong lung suction requirements that the consumer may have to use to consume smokable material through a water bong.
