Abstract

A new and distinct cultivar of Hydrangea plant named ‘CAMCHO45’ is disclosed, characterized by lace-cap inflorescences with large, distinctly concave pure white sepals. Plants have rounded habits, dark green foliage, and very dark purple stems. The new variety is a Hydrangea, typically produced as an outdoor ornamental plant.

Claims

1. A new and distinct cultivar of Hydrangea plant named ‘CAMCHO45’ as herein illustrated and described.

Description

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PHOTOGRAPHS

(1) The accompanying photograph in FIG. 1 illustrates in full color a typical plant of ‘CAMCHO45’ grown outdoors Camarillo, Calif. This plant is approximately 2-3 years old, grown in a #5 container.

(2) FIG. 2 illustrates in full color a close up of the flowers of ‘CAMCHO45’. The photographs were taken using conventional techniques and although colors may appear different from actual colors due to light reflectance it is as accurate as possible by conventional photographic techniques.

DETAILED BOTANICAL DESCRIPTION

(3) In the following description, color references are made to The Royal Horticultural Society Colour Chart 2007, except where general terms of ordinary dictionary significance are used. The following observations and measurements describe ‘CAMCHO45’ plants grown outdoors in Camarillo, Calif. The plants were about 2 years old. Temperatures ranged from 12° C. to 15° C. at night to 18° C. to 27° C. during the day. No artificial light, photoperiodic treatments were given to the plants. Measurements and numerical values represent averages of typical plant types. Botanical classification: Hydrangea macrophylla ‘CAMCHO45’.
