    Abstract

When a person tries to put on a shoe, such as a tennis shoe or dress shoe, the back rim and quarter of the shoe often collapses inwards when the person does not use a shoehorn. The clip-on shoehorn can be installed on the back rim of the shoe to provide support and prevent the shoe back rim from collapsing in. It can be installed on a shoe all the time or can be removed and installed on another shoe. Clip-on shoehorns can be made in different sizes.

    Claims

    1. Clip-on shoehorn comprising an anterior blade, a posterior blade and a beveled top, whereby said clip on shoehorn is installed on a back rim of a shoe to provide support to back quarter of said shoe.

    2. Said clip-on shoehorn of claim 1 wherein said beveled top connects said anterior blade and said posterior blade.

    3. Said clip-on shoehorn of claim 1 wherein said anterior blade has a curvature similar to that of said back rim of said shoe.

    4. Said clip-on shoehorn of claim 1 wherein said posterior blade has a curvature similar to that of said back rim of said shoe.

    5. Said clip-on shoehorn of claim 1 wherein said beveled top has a mild degree of bevel to those of said anterior blade and said posterior blade.

    6. Said clip-on shoehorn of claim 1 wherein said anterior blade is ideally the same length as back side of a shoe.

    7. Said clip-on shoehorn of claim 1 wherein adhesive is applied to back of said anterior blade and inner side of posterior blade whereby said adhesive will securely adhere said clip-on shoehorn to said shoe.

    Description

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0003] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of clip-on shoehorn which has a long anterior blade and a short posterior blade.

[0004] FIG. 2 is ,a perspective view of a clip-on shoehorn of FIG. 1 inserted on the back rim of a shoe.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0005] Referring now in detail to the drawings, numeral 3 of FIG. 1 is a clip-on shoehorn. Numeral 4 of FIG. 2 is a shoe which has installed on it clip-on shoehorn 3. Numeral 5 of FIGS. 1 and 2 is the anterior blade of clip-on shoehorn 3. Numeral 6 of FIGS. 1 and 2 is posterior blade of clip-on shoehorn 3. Numeral 7 of FIGS. 1 and 2 is beveled top of clip-on shoehorn. Beveled top 7 connects anterior blade 5 and posterior blade 6 and has a mild degree of bevel to those of anterior blade 5 and posterior blade 6. Numeral 8 of FIG. 1 is space between anterior blade 5 and posterior blade 6. Numeral 9 of FIG. 2 is back rim of shoe 4. Space 8 can admit snugly and tightly back rim 9. Anterior blade 5 and posterior blade 6 have a curvature similar to back rim 9. Anterior blade is ideally the same length as the internal back side of shoe 4. Clip-on shoehorn 3 can be made of plastic, leather, metal or other stiff material and can be of a variety of sizes. The plastic or leather clip-on shoehorn can be cut or trimmed to the desired height to better fit onto shoe back rim. Adhesive can be applied on the back of anterior blade 5 to securely adhere clip-on shoehorn 3 on shoe. Adhesive can be applied on the inner side of posterior blade 6 to secure adhere clip-on shoehorn 3 on shoe.
