    Abstract

The primary function of the Bootstrap invention is to provide a flexible elastic woven band material that has a high heat resistant that connects to the bottom of the person's boots to their pants. The invention also provides a means to reduce the thermal heat from traveling between the person's pants by eliminating the separation distance between the pants and the boots. The invention is simple to install and provides a high degree of flexibility to insure that it maintains operation while connected to the person's boots and pants. The invention is either wrapped around the outside of the bottom of the person's boot or the inside the person's boot like a stirrup. The invention has multiple applications for people such as, firefighter bunker pants, commercial and military situations where the boots and pants need to be a close as possible during heat related and other situations.

    Claims

    1. A system for keeping pants and boots close together, system comprising: A person whose pant leg having a hook at the bottom edge of the pant including the top edge of the attachment; A person who's pants and pant leg bottom, the person pants includes a second hook at the bottom edge of the pant including the top edge of the attachment; A flexible elastic woven band material device having a first end and second end, the first end including a fastener clip or d-hook attached to said pants, the band including a second fastener clip or d-hook attached to said pants. Wherein at least both of the ends of said flexible elastic woven band are looped around the bottom of the person's boot and provide variable strength and durability to prevent separation between the pants and boot

    2. The system of claim 1 further including a way to fit around the flexible elastic woven band material and attached to the pants when not in use.

    3. The system of claim 1 to include a way to release the flexible elastic band material from the pants and the boot.

    4. The system of claim 1 where the first attachment means included a snap, stud of D-type hook attachment and a means to loop the band under the boot and attach to the second attachment

    5. The system of claim 1 where the second attachment means included a snap, stud of D-type hook attachment and a means to loop the band under the persons boot and attach to the second attachment

    6. The system of claim 1 where the first and second attachment for the said flexible elastic woven band includes a box and cross stitch pattern for safety and added strength.

    7. The system of claim 1 where the first attachment means included a snap, stud of D-type hook attachment and a means to loop the band inside the boot like a stirrup inside the boot and attach to the second attachment.

    8. The system of claim 1 to include a high temperature flexible elastic band material from the person's pants and the boot.

    9. The system of claim 1 to include a flexible sleeve elastic band outer shell coving the main elastic band to protect the main elastic band from chafing or other damage.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION AND BEST MODE OF IMPLEMENTATION

[0028] Referring to FIG. 1, illustrates a front view of the complete Bootstrap with D-Type connectors at each end of the Bootstrap. The main Bootstrap assembly 10 is made of a highly flexible elastic woven material with high heat resistance. Bootstrap 10 connects to the D-Type connector 20 on one end and to the other D-Type connector 40 on the other end of the Bootstrap 10. The flexible elastic woven band 10 is looped through each D-Type connector 20 and 40, and attached to itself by using a box and cross stitch pattern 60 to provide additional strength and support.

[0029] Refer to FIG. 2, illustrates a front view and bottom view of a typical person's boots.

[0030] The Bootstrap 10 wraps around each person's boot 110 and 120. The bootstrap 10 connects to each D-type connector 20 and 40.

[0031] Refer to FIG. 3, illustrates during certain situations the person's pant legs 200 and 230 can become separated from the person's boots 110 and 120 by several inches. This condition allows heat to travel up the person's legs and could result in discomfort, irritation and impair the person's during critical operations.

[0032] Refer to FIG. 4, illustrates how each Bootstrap is connected to the person's pants to reduce the separation between the pants and the boots. Bootstrap 10 wraps under the person's left boot 120 and connects to the left pants 230 at the Bootstrap D-Type connectors 20 and 40. A simple flexible snap connector loops through each D-Type connector 20 and 40 to the person's left pant leg 230. Bootstrap 10 wraps under the person's right boot 110 and connects to the right pants 200 at the Bootstrap D-Type connectors 20 and 40. A simple flexible snap connector loops through each D-Type connector 60 and 80 to the person's right pant leg 200.

[0033] Refer to FIG. 5, illustrates a detailed view of how the Bootstrap is connected to the person's left pant leg. Bootstrap 10 wraps around the person's boot 120 and the D-Type connector 20 and 40 connect directly to the person's left pant leg 230.

[0034] Refer to FIG. 6, illustrates a detailed view of the flexible bootstrap with the D-Type hook assembly and the box and cross stitch. The flexible elastic woven band 10 wraps around the D-Type connector 20 at location 30, and the flexible elastic woven band 10 is attached to itself by using a box and cross stitch pattern 60 to provide additional strength and support.

[0035] Refer to FIG. 7, illustrates a detailed view of the flexible bootstrap with the Socket Snap assembly and the box and cross stitch. The flexible elastic woven band 10 wraps around the Socket Snap 70, and the flexible elastic woven band 10 is attached to itself by using a box and cross stitch pattern 60 to provide additional strength and support.

[0036] Refer to FIG. 8, illustrates a detailed view of the flexible bootstrap with the Stud Snap assembly and the box and cross stitch. The flexible elastic woven band 10 wraps around the Socket Snap 70, and the flexible elastic woven band 10 is attached to itself by using a box and cross stitch pattern 60 to provide additional strength and support.

[0037] Refer to FIG. 9, illustrates a detailed view of the flexible bootstrap with the Socket Snap assembly and the box and cross stitch. The flexible elastic woven band 10 wraps around the Socket Snap 70, and the flexible elastic woven band 10 is attached to itself by using a box and cross stitch pattern 60 to provide additional strength and support. The product logo 90 is stitched across each end of the logo not to obstruct the logo writing.
