    Abstract

    A dental cleaning system for promoting oral hygiene by aiding in the cleaning of teeth and gums. The dental cleaning assembly includes a brush assembly and a cap unit assembly. The dental cleaning assembly includes a dental pick, minor and hanging hook. The cap unit assembly covers the brush assembly in a stored condition. The brush assembly may dispense toothpaste to the bristles of the toothbrush by an orifice in the brush head. The cap unit assembly is structured to have a flat end such that the dental cleaning assembly may rest on the end without tipping. Additionally, the cap unit assembly is structured to act as a rinse cup of the user-brusher.

    Claims

    1. A dental cleaning system comprising: a dental cleaning assembly comprising; a brush assembly comprising; a brush head comprising; a front face; a back face; a fore end; a brush tail; a hollow tubular body; a plurality of bristles; a dental pick; and a hanging ring; a cap unit assembly comprising; a top surface; an outer circumference; an inner circumference; and a mirror; wherein said dental cleaning assembly comprises said brush assembly and said cap unit assembly; wherein said parameters of said brush assembly is defined by said brush head, said brush tail, said hollow tubular body, said plurality of bristles, said dental pick, and said hanging ring; wherein said plurality of bristles extend outwardly from said front face of said brush head; wherein said dental pick and said hanging ring are attached to said hollow tubular body nearest said brush tail on opposing sides of said hollow tubular body; wherein said hollow tubular body is structured and arranged to accept a volume of toothpaste able to be dispensed for use; wherein said parameters of said cap unit assembly are defined by said top surface, said outer circumference, said inner circumference, and includes said minor; wherein said minor is affixed to said outer circumference of said cap unit assembly; wherein said cap unit assembly is structured and arranged to cover said brush head in a stored condition; wherein said cap unit assembly may be removed such that said dental cleaning assembly is in a ready for use condition; and wherein said brush assembly, when in said ready for use condition, is structured and arranged to apply toothpaste and clean teeth of a user-brusher.

    2. The dental cleaning system of claim 1 wherein said inner circumference of said cap unit assembly and said hollow tubular body of said brush assembly are of a similar size such that said cap unit assembly is held upon said hollow tubular body of said brush assembly via friction when in said stored condition and is easily removed by said user-brusher to be in said ready for use condition for dispensing said toothpaste.

    3. The dental cleaning system of claim 1 wherein said cap unit assembly is constructed from a transparent material to allow said user-brusher to use the cap unit assembly as a rinse cup to aid in cleaning teeth of said user-brusher.

    4. The dental cleaning system of claim 1 wherein said top surface of said cap unit assembly is structured and arranged such that said dental cleaning system may rest upon said top surface of said cap unit assembly without tipping.

    5. The dental cleaning system of claim 1 wherein said hollow tubular body removably contains said toothpaste.

    6. The dental cleaning of system claim 1 wherein said hollow tubular body is arranged to accept a cartridge of toothpaste.

    7. The dental cleaning system of claim 1 wherein said front face of said brush head further comprises an orifice for dispensing said toothpaste from said hollow tubular body.

    8. The dental cleaning system of claim 1 wherein said user-brusher is able to press said brush tail of said brush assembly to dispense said toothpaste from said front face of said brush head to aid in teeth cleaning.

    9. The dental cleaning system of claim 1 wherein said user-brusher is able to dispense said toothpaste by twisting said brush tail.

    10. The dental cleaning system of claim 1 wherein said user-brusher is able to dispense said toothpaste by pressing said brush tail.

    11. The dental cleaning system of claim 1 wherein said plurality of bristles are all of a same length.

    12. The dental cleaning system of claim 1 wherein said plurality of bristles are of disparate lengths.

    13. The dental cleaning system of claim 1 wherein said mirror is constructed of a shatter-proof material to provide durability and improve safety.

    14. The dental cleaning system of claim 1 wherein said brush assembly further comprises a lanyard affixed to said hanging ring.

    15. The dental cleaning system of claim 1 wherein said dental pick comprises a teardrop shape to facilitate removal of debris from between one or more teeth of said user-brusher.

    16. The dental cleaning system of claim 1 wherein said dental pick is constructed of a flexible material to facilitate cleaning teeth of said user-brusher.

    17. A dental cleaning system comprising: a dental cleaning assembly comprising; a brush assembly comprising; a brush head comprising; a front face; a back face; and a fore end; a brush tail; a hollow tubular body; a plurality of bristles; a dental pick; and a hanging ring; a cap unit assembly comprising; a top surface; an outer circumference; an inner circumference; and a mirror; wherein said dental cleaning assembly comprises said brush assembly and said cap unit assembly; wherein said parameters of said brush assembly is defined by said brush head, said brush tail, said hollow tubular body, said plurality of bristles, said dental pick, and said hanging ring; wherein said plurality of bristles extend outwardly from said front face of said brush head; wherein said dental pick and said hanging ring are attached to said hollow tubular body nearest said brush tail on opposing sides of said hollow tubular body; wherein said hollow tubular body is structured and arranged to accept a volume of toothpaste able to be dispensed for use; wherein said parameters of said cap unit assembly are defined by said top surface, said outer circumference, said inner circumference, and includes said minor; wherein said minor is affixed to said outer circumference of said cap unit assembly; wherein said cap unit assembly is structured and arranged to cover said brush head in a stored condition; wherein said cap unit assembly may be removed such that said dental cleaning assembly is in a ready for use condition; wherein said brush assembly, when in said ready for use condition, is structured and arranged to apply toothpaste and clean teeth of a user-brusher; wherein said inner circumference of said cap unit assembly and said hollow tubular body of said brush assembly are of a similar size such that said cap unit assembly is held upon said hollow tubular body of said brush assembly via friction when in said stored condition and is easily removed by said user-brusher to be in said ready for use condition for dispensing said toothpaste; wherein said cap unit assembly is constructed from a transparent material to allow said user-brusher to quickly and easily view said brush assembly; wherein said top surface of said cap unit assembly is structured and arranged such that said dental cleaning system may rest upon said top surface of said cap unit assembly without tipping; wherein said hollow tubular body removably contains said toothpaste; wherein said front face of said brush head further comprises an orifice for dispensing said toothpaste from said hollow tubular body; wherein said user-brusher is able to press said brush tail of said brush assembly to dispense said toothpaste from said front face of said brush head to aid in teeth cleaning; wherein said plurality of bristles are all of a same length; wherein said plurality of bristles are of disparate lengths; wherein said mirror is constructed of a shatter-proof material to provide durability and improve safety; wherein said brush assembly further comprises a lanyard affixed to said hanging ring; wherein said dental pick comprises a teardrop shape to facilitate removal of debris from between one or more teeth of said user-brusher; and wherein said dental pick is constructed of a flexible material to facilitate cleaning teeth of said user-brusher.

    18. The dental cleaning system of claim 17 further comprising a kit including: said brush assembly; said cap unit assembly; and a set of user instructions.

    19. A method of using a dental cleaning system comprising the steps of: providing a dental cleaning assembly comprising; a brush assembly comprising; a brush head comprising; a front face; a back face; and a fore end; a brush tail; a hollow tubular body; a plurality of bristles; a dental pick; and a hanging ring; a cap unit assembly comprising; a top surface; an outer circumference; an inner circumference; and a mirror; removing said cap unit assembly; dispensing a volume of toothpaste from said brush assembly; applying said toothpaste to clean teeth of a user-brusher; and brushing teeth of said user-brusher.

    20. The method of claim 19 further comprising the steps of: rinsing said toothpaste from teeth of said user-brusher; and replacing said cap unit assembly.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION

    [0029] As discussed above, embodiments of the present invention relate to personal hygiene products for oral care and more particularly to a dental cleaning assembly (and system) as used to improve the personal oral hygiene and the cleaning of an individual's teeth. Generally speaking, a dental cleaning system can be easily carried and used by an individual to clean teeth. Additionally, the dental cleaning system is easily stored and is easily readied for transportation within luggage and has a reduced probability of making a mess in luggage.

    [0030] Referring to the drawings by numerals of reference there is shown in FIGS. 1A-4, various views of dental cleaning system 100 comprising dental cleaning assembly 102. Referring specifically to FIG. 1A and FIG. 1B, showing dental cleaning system 100 during in-use condition 150 according to an embodiment of the present invention.

    [0031] As shown in FIGS. 2-4, dental cleaning system 100 may comprise dental cleaning assembly 102, with dental cleaning assembly 102 comprising brush assembly 104 and cap unit assembly 124. Dental pick 120 may be constructed of a flexible material to facilitate cleaning teeth of said user-brusher. Brush assembly 104 may further comprise lanyard 142 affixed to hanging ring 122. Hollow tubular body 116 is structured and arranged to accept volume of toothpaste 134 able to be dispensed for use. In one embodiment, user-brusher 140 may dispense toothpaste 134 by twisting brush tail 114. In an alternate embodiment, user-brusher 140 may dispense toothpaste 134 by pressing brush tail 114.

Minor 132 may be constructed of a shatter-proof (shatter-resistant) material (e.g., plastic, polycarbonate, etc.) to provide durability and improve safety. Cap unit assembly 124 is defined by top surface 126, outer circumference 128, inner circumference 130, and includes minor 132. Mirror 132 is affixed to outer circumference 128 of cap unit assembly 124 in preferred embodiments. Cap unit assembly 124 is structured and arranged to cover brush head 106 in stored condition 152.
