DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0029] The aforementioned and further advantages and features of the present invention will be understood by reference to the description of the preferred embodiment in conjunction with the accompanying drawings where the components are illustrated based on a proportion for explanation but not subject to the actual component proportion.
[0030] Referring to
[0031] The athletic equipment 200 comprises a main body 201; and a feedback device 100. Preferably, the feedback device 100 is disposed on a grip 202 of the main body 201, as shown in
[0032] The input module 20 is electrically connected with a button assembly 21 which is disposed at the bottom of the grip 202, as shown in
[0033] Further, the button assembly 21 comprises a first button 21a and a second button 21b, wherein the first button 21a is used for choosing the target waving value to be set, and the second button 21b is used for entering the value of the target waving value. Also, the first button 21a and the second button 21b are able to be pushed for a longer period for selectively turning on or turning off the feedback device 100.
[0034] The sensing module 30 comprises at least one of an acceleration sensor and an angle sensor, so as to sense the waving status of the athletic equipment 200 and subsequently produce a sense signal.
[0035] The signal processing module 40 converts the sense signal into an actual waving data, which is subsequently transmitted to the control unit 10. The actual waving data reflects the target waving value which is entered previously, including at least one of the waving force, speed, angle, time, and hitting times. The control unit 10 compares the actual waving data with the target waving value. If any of the items matches the target waving value, the control unit 10 sends a feedback signal.
[0036] The feedback module 50 receives the feedback signal and subsequently produces a feedback reaction to inform the user. The feedback reaction is allowed to be present by use of at least one of sound, light, and vibration manner.
[0037] The display module 60, in the embodiment, is an LCD display, and disposed on a lateral side of the grip 202 for displaying the actual waving data.
[0038] The power module 70 offers the necessary power and is electrically connected with an USB port 71 which is disposed at the bottom of the grip 202, as shown in
[0039] Also, the feedback device 100 in the embodiment of the present invention is further provided with a connect module 80, which is able to be remotely connected with any terminal devices 90 available in the market, such as a smart phone, a tablet, a smart bracelet, and any wearable mobile apparatus, as shown in
[0040] Furthermore, the athletic equipment 200 in the embodiment of the present invention is further provided with a remote device 91, which is connected with the connect module 80 of the feedback device 100, as shown in
[0041] Still, if any of the items in the actual waving data matches the target waving value, the control unit 10 not only send the feedback signal to the feedback module 50, but also send the feedback signal to the terminal device 90 or the remote device 91 through the connect module 80, whereby the terminal device 90 or the remote device 91 are also allowed to produce a feedback reaction, which is present by use of at least one of sound, light, and vibration manner.
[0042] With the foregoing configuration, operation of the present invention will be illustrated below.
[0043] Referring to
[0044] In step (a), before operating the athletic equipment 200, the user pushes the first button 21a for a long period to turn on the feedback device 100, and subsequently uses the button assembly 21, the terminal device 90, or the remote device 91 to enter a target waving value into the feedback device 100. As shown in
[0045] In step (b), when the user operates the athletic equipment 200, the sensing module 30 senses the waving status of the athletic equipment 200, such that a sense signal is produced and transmitted to the signal processing module 40. The signal processing module 40 converts the sense signal into an actual waving data, which is then sent to the control unit, as shown in
[0046] In step (c), the control unit 10 compares the actual waving data with the target waving date, so as to determine if the actual waving data matches the target waving value. If the comparison result is positive, the control unit 10 sends a feedback signal to the feedback module 50, as shown in
[0047] In step (d), upon receiving the feedback signal, the feedback module 50 produce a feedback reaction in a vibration manner to inform the user.
[0048] In step (e), the display module 60 displays the actual waving data, such that the user is able to rectify the waving motion according to the displayed data, as shown in
[0049] Therefore, with the feedback device 100 installed on the athletic equipment 200, the user does not have to hire a personal coach when learning to play various ball games; instead, by referring to the feedback reaction from the feedback module 50 and the data displayed by the display module 60, the user is allowed to be timely aware of the correctness of the waving motion, thereby rectifying the waving motion, thus increasing the learning efficiency.
[0050] Furthermore, the control unit 10 is also able to have the actual waving data and the comparison result between the actual waving data and the target waving value to and saved in any of the terminal devices 90 available in the market or the remote device 91 provided by the present invention. As shown in
[0051] Additionally, since the control unit 10 is capable of sending the feedback signal to the terminal device 90 or the remote device 91 through the connect module 80, the terminal device 90 and the remote device 91 are also capable of producing a feedback reaction. For example, as shown in
[0052] Although particular embodiments of the invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
