Firebox

Abstract

The present invention relates to a novel firebox. The firebox is comprised of: a casing, a water swivel or main water hookup, one or more hose reels within the turning knob attached to the reel, a lay flat discharge hose with a standard water clamp, a plurality of screws for the base/water swivels rotation joint, and a plurality of rubber hose hooks for main water supply and T joint.

Claims

1. A Firebox comprising: a casing; a water swivel or main water hookup; one or more hose reels mounted on the turning knob that is attached to the reel; a flat lay discharge hose with standard water clamp; a plurality of screws for the base/water swivels rotation joint, a plurality of rubber hose hooks for the main water supply and T joint.

2. The Firebox of claim 1, wherein said casing is available in different shapes and sizes.

3. The Firebox of claim 1, wherein said box further comprising a brace providing proper support to the fire box and easily fitting over different structures.

4. The Firebox of claim 3, wherein said brace is arranged in an L-shape manner.

5. A Firebox comprising: a casing; a water swivel or main water hookup; at least one hose reels within the turning knob attached to the reel; a flat lay discharge hose with a standard water clamp; a plurality of screws for the base/water swivels rotation joint; and a plurality of rubber hose hooks for main water supply and T joint.

6. The Firebox of claim 5, wherein said casing is 11212 inches.

7. The Firebox of claim 5, wherein one side of said firebox has an 11 hole for the hose reel to rest within said turning knob attached to the reel.

8. The Firebox of claim 5, wherein the other side of side firebox is wide with 11 circles for said reel.

9. The Firebox of claim 5 is further comprised of a flat lay discharge hose , or standard water clamps.

10. The Firebox of claim 5 is available in the shape of the toy.

[0023] Refering FIG. 1, front and right side view of a new fire box is shown. In the front view, the fire box of current invention comprises of a firebox housing 1 and firebox support stand 2. The firebox housing and firebox support stand are held in place by bolt screws 3 as shown in front view of figure. The hose reel rests within the firebox housing and mounted over rewind or turning knob 4 as shown in right side view of FIG. 1.

[0024] A fire hose nozzle 5 is also shown front view of figure. The fire hose nozzle is connected with fire hose with a standard water clamp. Rubber hose hooks are provided for main water supply 6 as shown in right side view. The fire box will be reversible, with a water swivel or main water hook up in the middle. Also shown in side view of figure is optaional two fireboxes.

[0025] FIG. 2 illustrates the a proposed coupling of two fire box support stand 2 without the firebox housing or casing. The fire box hose from the main water line to water swivels rotation joint, which goes into the firebox with the fire hose reel. The fire hose reel couples to the lay flat discharge hose using a standard water hose coupling. The water swivel and water hook are 1 in wide with 1212 dimension. They are made of plastic or metal.

[0026] The Firebox of further includes braces, that resist the movement of fire box by distributing pressure onto the periphery of the frame. In particular, the support system is arranged in an L-shape manner, which provides proper support to the fire box and easily fits over many different locations.

[0027] In the construction of the present firebox, a single fire box will be approximately 11212. One side of the firebox will have an 11 hole in the hose reel to connect to the turning knob that is attached to the reel. It also includes a lay flat discharge hose , or standard water clamps. The other side of box has a wide hole with 11 circles for the reel to rest in the water swivel.

[0028] Advantageously, the present invention may be easily accessible, easily installed, and will not run out of water. In addition, anyone can use it, even children and the elderly. Furthermore, it is economical, and may reduce fire insurance by saving lives and property.

[0029] In another aspect, the present firebox is available in different shapes and sizes. Preferably, it is available in the toy shape. A firebox according to the present invention, regardless of shape, size and appearance, will easily fit over different structures. In an emergency situation, it will be easily accessible.
