    Abstract

    A modular attachment mechanism that allows attachments to be joined with dog waste bag dispensers. The mechanism includes a plurality of joining features allowing different attachments to be added and removed easily from a compatible dog waste bag dispenser. The attachments can provide additional functionality to existing dog waste bag dispensers based on user preference.

    Claims

    1. A dog waste bag dispenser device, comprising: A plurality of joinery features allowing it to join and separate with a dog waste bag dispenser.

    2. The device of claim 1, wherein there are hinge and latch features on the attachment and on the dog waste dispenser allowing join and removal of attachment to dispenser.

    [0020] Details of some embodiments of the apparatus in the present invention are described below

    [0021] Referring to FIG. 1, in some embodiments of the mechanism there may be a modular attachment 1 which contains a sliding fit feature 2 and a clip feature 3. There may be corresponding features on the holder that form a channel from surfaces 4 and 5, along with a clip face 6.

    [0022] Referring to FIG. 2, in some embodiments of the mechanism there may be a modular attachment which contains a clipping feature 8 that can be operated by a user with the lever 3. The surface 7 of this attachment may line up with a channel feature 5 of the holder.

This attachment may have a lever 3 that can be pressed in by a user to allow the modular attachment to be removed from the holder
