Abstract
A scenting device is provided for scenting the interior of a vehicle. The scenting device comprises a housing, a scent container arranged in the housing and at least one coupling device arranged on the housing. At least one holding device can be coupled to the coupling device. By means of the holding device, the scenting device can be attached to a ventilation in the interior of the vehicle.
Claims
1. A scenting device for a vehicle, the scenting device comprising: a housing, a scent container arranged in the housing, at least one coupling device arranged on the housing, at least one holding device for attaching the scenting device to a ventilation in the interior of the vehicle, wherein the holding device can be coupled to and decoupled from the coupling device.

The scenting device according to claim 1, wherein at least three coupling devices are arranged on the housing, with which in each case one of the at least one holding devices can be coupled, in particular wherein the three coupling devices are spaced apart from one another, and/or wherein inlet openings are provided between the at least three coupling devices, through which air can flow into the housing.
3. The scenting device according to claim 1, wherein the coupling device and the holding device are adapted such that they couple with one another in the form of a snap-fit.

The scenting device according to claim 1, wherein the coupling device comprises a frame and the holding device comprises a flat plate, configured such that the plate of the holding device can be slid under the frame of the coupling device for coupling, in particular wherein the plate has at least one protrusion which engages in gaps of the frame in the coupled position.
5. The scenting device according to claim 1, comprising at least two structurally differently designed holding devices, wherein both holding devices can be coupled to one of the at least one coupling device.
6. The scenting device according to claim 1, wherein at least one of the holding devices has a rubber cap, in particular wherein the rubber cap is adapted such that it can be clamped between two slats of the ventilation, and/or wherein the rubber cap is removable from the holding device.
7. The scenting device according to claim 6, wherein the scenting device comprises at least two holding devices with the rubber caps, wherein the at least two holding devices comprise rubber caps of different sizes.
8. The scenting device according to claim 6, wherein the rubber cap has an outer surface, a base surface and an upper surface opposite the base surface.
9. The scenting device according to claim 8, wherein a groove is arranged on the upper surface of the rubber cap and/or wherein two upper edges running parallel are arranged on the upper surface of the rubber cap, in particular wherein the two upper edges each have a rectilinear section.
10. The scenting device according to claim 8, wherein an edge line of the base surface has at least one, in particular two, rectilinear sections, in particular wherein the edge line comprises two semicircles or half-ellipses connecting the two rectilinear sections.
11. The scenting device according to claim 10, wherein at least one of said holding devices comprises a spreader element, in particular wherein the spreader element is configured to be clampable between two slats of the ventilation, and/or wherein the spreader element comprises at least two spreader members.
12. The scenting device according to claim 6, wherein the holding device can be coupled to the rubber cap and the holding device can be coupled to the spreader element on all coupling devices.

The scenting device according to claim 1, wherein exactly three coupling devices are arranged on the housing and one of the three coupling devices is arranged in the middle between the other two outer coupling devices, in particular wherein only the coupling device arranged in the middle is coupled to one of the at least one holding device, or only the two outer coupling devices is coupled to one of the at least one holding device.

The scenting device according to claim 12, wherein the coupling device in the middle is coupled to the holding device with the spreader element, and in particular no holding device is coupled to the two outer coupling devices, or the two outer coupling devices are each coupled to one of the holding devices with the rubber cap, and in particular no holding device is coupled to the middle coupling device.

The scenting device according to claim 13, wherein the coupling device in the middle is coupled to the holding device with the spreader element, and in particular no holding device is coupled to the two outer coupling devices, or the two outer coupling devices are each coupled to one of the holding devices with the rubber cap, and in particular no holding device is coupled to the middle coupling device.

[0040] If the scenting device 1 is mounted on the ventilation in the passenger compartment of the vehicle, the inlet side 8 is directed towards the ventilation and the outlet side 6 is directed away from the ventilation. Air flows out of the ventilation through the inlet openings 7, into the housing 2 and into the scent container 3 arranged in the housing 2. The air comes into contact with the scent in the scent container 3, is enriched with scent molecules and leaves the housing 2 of the scenting device 1 through the outlet openings 5. The air reaches the interior of the vehicle and scents the interior.

This is because a recess 31 is provided at the front end of the scent container 3, in which a protrusion of the housing 2 or of the sliding container 11 engages in the inserted position. If the recess 31 and the protrusion do not engage, the scent container 3 cannot be fully inserted into the housing 2 and the housing cover 22 cannot be closed. Once the user has correctly inserted the scent container 3 into the housing 2, he can close the housing cover 22. The user thus has a kit which comprises, on the one hand, the housing 2 with the scent container 3 and, on the other hand, the different types of holding devices 4. In addition, the kit may also include rubber caps 41 of different sizes. I.e., in this case the user has a total of three variants at his disposal for mounting the scenting device 1 on the ventilation in the interior of the vehicle. The mounting is carried out by means of the smaller rubber caps 41, by means of the larger rubber caps 41 or by means of the spreader element 42. The user chooses from the three variants the one which is best suited for mounting the scenting device 1 depending on the design of the ventilation.

[0060] A sliding device with a sliding container 11 is arranged inside the housing 2. The sliding container comprises a bottom 110, a front wall with inclined outlet openings 111 and a rear wall with vertical inlet openings 112. There is space between the walls of the sliding container 11 so that the scent container 3 can be arranged inside the sliding container 11.

As a result, the scent container 3 does not rub against the housing 2 during the movement. Friction only occurs between the sliding container 11 and the webs 26 of the housing 2. The movement thus occurs in a controlled manner, with only slight friction, and is independent of whether the scent container 3 has been correctly inserted into the sliding container 11 by the user.

In the closed state, the struts of the sliding container 11 cover the inlet openings 7 and the outlet openings 5. Air cannot flow through the scenting device 1. In the open state, the outlet openings 111 of the sliding container 11 are congruent with the outlet openings 5 of the housing 2 and the inlet openings 112 of the sliding container 11 are congruent with the inlet openings 7 of the housing 2. Air can flow through the scenting device 1 and be enriched with scent molecules of the scent container 3.
