TRANSPARENT CONTAINER FOR HOLDING ARTICLES

Abstract

A transparent container for holding an article made of a precious metal is disclosed. The container includes a body made of a transparent material. The body includes an interior. The body comprises a closure mechanism sealed with heat to the body to prevent air from entering the body. The body includes a first section and a second section. The first section is wider and positioned above the second section. The second section becomes narrower as it goes down towards the bottom of the body. The interior receives an article made of precious metal. The closure mechanism closes and prevents air from entering the interior and keeps the article from getting tarnished. In one example, edges of the body are sealed with heat to form the body as a single unit.

Claims

1. A container, comprising: a body made of transparent material, wherein said body comprises an interior; and a closure mechanism heat sealed with said body, wherein said body receives an article made of a precious metal, and wherein said closure mechanism closes and prevents air from entering said body and keeps said article from getting tarnished.

2. The container of claim 1, wherein said body comprises a front wall, a rear wall, side walls, a top wall and a bottom wall, and wherein said front wall, said rear wall, said side walls, said top wall and said bottom wall form an interior for receiving said article.

3. The container of claim 1, wherein said closure mechanism closes and prevents water from entering said body.

4. The container of claim 2, wherein said closure mechanism positions at at least one wall.

5. The container of claim 2, wherein a hanging attachment is attached to at least one wall and used for hanging said item within said container.

6. The container of claim 1, wherein said body comprises edges, wherein said edges are heat sealed to form said body as a single unit.

7. The container of claim 1, wherein said closure mechanism comprises one of a zipper, hook and loop, snaps, Velcro, ties, magnetic closures, buckles, elastic bands, toggle and loop, snap buttons, beaded or toggle closures, drawstring with cord lock, hook and eye, ziplock or sider bags, twist locks, magnetic snaps, and buttons.

8. A container, comprising: a body having a first section and a second section, wherein said first section positions above said second section, wherein said first section is wide and said second section becomes narrower as it descends towards the bottom of said body; and a closure mechanism positioned at the top of said first section, wherein said closure mechanism is heat sealed with said body, wherein said body receives an article made of a precious metal, and wherein said closure mechanism closes and prevents air from entering said body and keeps said article from getting tarnished.

9. The container of claim 8, wherein said body is transparent.

10. The container of claim 8, wherein said closure mechanism closes and prevents water from entering said body.

11. The container of claim 8, wherein said body comprises a front wall, a rear wall, side walls, a top wall and a bottom wall, wherein said front wall, said rear wall, said side walls, said top wall and said bottom wall form an interior for receiving said article.

12. The container of claim 11, wherein said closure mechanism positions at at least one wall.

13. The container of claim 9, wherein a hanging attachment is attached to at least one wall and used for hanging said item within said container.

14. The container of claim 9, wherein said body comprises edges, wherein said edges are heat sealed to form said body as a single unit.

15. The container of claim 9, wherein said closure mechanism comprises one of a zipper, hook and loop, snaps, Velcro, ties, magnetic closures, buckles, elastic bends, toggle and loop, snap buttons, beaded or toggle closures, drawstring with cord lock, hook and eye, ziplock or sider bags, twist locks, magnetic snaps, and buttons.

16. A method of providing a container for holding an article, said method comprising the steps of: providing a body made of a transparent material, said body comprising an interior, providing a closure mechanism on said body; sealing said closure mechanism to said body with heat; receiving an article made of a precious metal in said body; and closing said closure mechanism for preventing air from entering said body to prevent said article from getting tarnished.

The method of claim 17, further comprising: providing a first section and a second section in said body such that said first section positions above said second section; providing said first section to be wider than said second section; and providing said second section to become narrower as it descends towards the bottom of said body.

18. The method of claim 17, further comprising providing said closure mechanism at any side of said body.

19. The method of claim 17, further comprising sealing edges of said body with heat to form said body as a single unit.

20. The method of claim 17, further comprising providing a connecting member, said connecting member being sealed with said closure mechanism from the outside and inside of said body to prevent water or air from entering said body.

[0029] FIG. 1 shows an environment 10 in which a container 12 is positioned in, in accordance with one embodiment of the present subject matter. Container 12 indicates a bag or a carrier or receptacle capable of storing one or more articles or items 14. Container 12 is made of soft flexible plastic or any other suitable material. In one example, article 14 is made of precious metals such as silver, gold and the like. In some examples, article 14 is made of metal, plastic, wood, ceramic, paperboard, cardboard, fabric, rubber, stainless steel, or any other material. Article 14 includes a Jewish menorah, as shown in FIG. 1, for example. A person sidled in the understands that the article 14 may include any religious, decorative or any other article depending on the need.

[0030] FIG. 2 shows a front view of container 12, in accordance with the present subject matter. Container 12 includes a body or housing 20. In one example, body 20 is transparent and allows to see through article 14 stored therein. In another example, body 20 is translucent or opaque depending on the need. Body 20 has a first end 22 and a second end 24. First end 22 indicates a front end and second end 24 indicates a rear end or vice versa. Body 20 has a first side 26 and a second side 28. First side 26 indicates a left side and second side 28 indicates a right side, or vice versa. Further, body 20 has a top end 30 and a bottom end 32.

Further, body 20 has a top wall 40 at top end 30. Top wall 40 connects to first wall 34, second wall 36 and side walls 38 at the top. Further, body 20 has a bottom wall 42 at bottom end 32. First section 46 indicates a top portion and second section 48 indicates a bottom portion. Here, first wall 34 and second wall 36 are wider at first section 46 and become narrow as they go down towards bottom end 32 forming a second section 48. Wider first section 46 holds the lamp portion of article 14 white the narrower second section 48 holds the stem/column and base of article 14, as shown in FIG. 1.

[0033] Further, in FIG. 3, body 20 includes a closure mechanism 50 for providing access to interior 44. In one embodiment, closure mechanism 50 is positioned at top wall 40. In another embodiment, closure mechanism 50 is positioned at one or both side walls 38. In another embodiment, closure mechanism 50 is positioned at bottom wall 42. In another embodiment, closure mechanism 50 extends from side wall 38 on first side 26 and goes all the way over top wall 40 and into side wall 38 on second side 28, as shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3. In one example, closure mechanism 50 includes a zipper. In other examples, closure mechanism 50 includes a hook and loop, buttons, snaps, Velcro, tis, magnetic closures, buckles, elastic bands, toggle and loop, snap buttons, beaded or toggle closures, drawstring with cord lock, hook and eye, ziplock or slider bags, twist locks, magnetic snaps for added convenience and style, and other closure mechanisms known in the art. In one implementation, closure mechanism 50 is made of a strong and waterproof material such that closure mechanism 50 can prevent water and air from entering into interior 44. The closure mechanism 50 has an actuator 51 such as a puller for operating closure mechanism 50.

[0034] In the present embodiment, closure mechanism 50 has a connecting member 52 such as a plastic member. Connecting member 52 is heat sealed 54 from the outside and inside of side walls 38 and top wall 40 to prevent water or air from entering interior 44. FIG. 4 shows the feature of heat sealing of closure mechanism 50, in accordance with one embodiment of the present subject matter. In one implementation, the intersection i.e., edges of first wall 34, second wall 36, side walls 38, top wall 40 and bottom wall 42 is sealed with heat (corner seal 56), as shown in FIG. 5. The edges 56 are sealed with heat, in that the seam of the edge comes together with pressed heat so that body 20 becomes one piece and no air goes through.

[0035] In use, a user (not shown) operates closure mechanism 50 and accesses the interior 44 of the container 12. Subsequently, the user places article 14 inside body 20 (Interior 44) such that the stem configures its shape to the article 14 at the second section 48 and the lamp portion configures its shape to the article 14 at the first section 46, as shown in FIG. 1. When not in use, container 12 is folded and transported easily.

For instance, the container has a transparent body, as a result the article can be viewed from outside. The container holds pieces of articles made of silver with air loss to prevent tarnish of the silver. The container provides a closure mechanism for accessing and closing the interior.
