    Claims

    1. A ring-toss game device comprising: a base having a top surface; a vertical member attached to the top surface of the base via a first fastener, the vertical member extending upwards from the top surface; a horizontal member attached to the vertical member via a hinge, wherein the hinge is configured to allow the horizontal member to fold outwards into a position parallel to the top surface of the base and fold inwards into a position parallel with the vertical member; and a string attached to the horizontal member, the string comprising a ring.

    2. The ring-toss game device of claim 1, wherein the base is rectangular or square.

    3. The ring-toss game device of claim 1, wherein the base is circular, oval, or polygonal.

    4. The ring-toss game device of claim 1, wherein the first fastener is comprised of a threaded connector, a magnetic coupling, or a snap-fit connection.

    5. The ring-toss game device of claim 1, wherein the hinge is comprised of a ball-and-socket hinge.

    6. The ring-toss game device of claim 1, wherein the hinge is comprised of a locking mechanism.

    7. The ring-toss game device of claim 1, wherein the locking mechanism is comprised of a locking button or a sliding latch.

    8. The ring-toss game device of claim 1, wherein the string is comprised of a nylon, a cotton, or a synthetic fiber.

    9. The ring-toss game device of claim 1, wherein the ring is comprised of a plastic, a metal, or a rubber.

    10. The ring-toss game device of claim 1, wherein the second fastener is comprised of a quick-release fastener or a carabiner.

    11. The ring-toss game device of claim 1, wherein the vertical member is comprised of an indicia.

    12. The ring-toss game device of claim 1, wherein the horizontal member is comprised of an indicia.

    13. A ring-toss game device comprising: a base; a handle; a vertical member comprising a handle, the vertical member attached to the base via a first fastener; a horizontal member pivotally connected to the vertical member via a hinge, the hinge comprising a locking mechanism configured to secure the horizontal member to the vertical member; and a string attached to the horizontal member via a second fastener, the string comprising a ring configured for swinging towards a fastener of the vertical member.

    14. The ring-toss game device of claim 13, wherein the handle is positioned on the vertical member.

    15. The ring-toss game device of claim 13, wherein the handle is comprised of a contoured handle.

    16. The ring-toss game device of claim 13, wherein the base is comprised of an indicia.

    17. The ring-toss game device of claim 13, wherein the vertical member is comprised of a peg.

    18. The ring-toss game device of claim 13, wherein the vertical member is comprised of a hook.

    19. A method of using a ring-toss game device, the method comprising the following steps: providing a ring-toss game device comprised of a base, a vertical member, a horizontal member attached to the vertical member via a hinge, a string attached to the horizontal member, and a ring attached to the string; positioning the base on a surface; attaching the vertical member to the base using a first fastener to secure the vertical member in place; rotating the horizontal member outward from the vertical member using the hinge until the horizontal member is positioned parallel to a top surface of the base; locking the horizontal member in the outward position using a locking mechanism of the hinge; holding the ring and swinging it in an arc toward a fastener on the vertical member; and releasing the ring to allow it to move toward the fastener in an attempt to engage the fastener.

    20. The method of using a ring-toss game device of claim 19, wherein the fastener is comprised of a peg.
