Abstract
A necklace anchor is disclosed which is designed to lay flush with the users neck. The necklace anchor has a flat flexible base and an attachment bar. The attachment bar, which is D shaped, allows the wearer to clip their necklace to the attachment bar to assist in keeping the necklace in place. The attachment bar is secured to the base by way of two securement washers which provide support and stability to the necklace anchor. The securement washers further assist in preventing breakage. The necklace anchor attaches to the user by way of a medical grade adhesive.
Claims
1. A necklace anchor comprising: a base; an attachment bar; a trim; and an adhesive layer.
2. The necklace anchor as claimed in claim 1, comprising: the base having an external surface; and the base having an internal surface.
3. The necklace anchor as claimed in claim 2 comprising: The internal surface having an outer edge; and The external surface having an outer edge.
4. The necklace anchor as claimed in claim 2 comprising the trim being perimetrically positioned around the outer edge of the external surface; and the trim being perimetrically positioned the outer edge of the internal surface.
5. The necklace anchor as claimed in claim 2 comprising: the trim being positioned between the external surface and the internal surface the external surface.
6. The necklace anchor as claimed in claim 2, comprising: the attachment bar being centrally positioned on the external surface.
7. The necklace anchor as claimed in claim 2 comprising: the adhesive layer being coated on the internal surface of the base.
8. The necklace anchor as claimed in claim 1, comprising: the attachment bar having a first end a second end; and the external surface having an upper half a lower half.
9. The necklace anchor as claimed in claim 8, comprising: the first end being attached to the upper half of the external surface; and the second end being attached to the lower half of the external surface.
10. The necklace anchor as claimed in claim 8 comprising: a first securement washer being perimetrically positioned around the first end of the attachment bar where it attaches to the external surface; and a second securement washer being perimetrically positioned around the second end of the attachment bar where it attaches to the external surface.
11. A necklace anchor comprising: a base; an attachment bar; a trim; an adhesive layer; the base having an external surface; the base having an internal surface; the internal surface having an outer edge; and the external surface having an outer edge.

The necklace anchor as claimed in claim 11 comprising: the trim being perimetrically positioned around the outer edge of the external surface; the trim being perimetrically positioned the outer edge of the internal surface opposite the external surface; the trim being positioned between the external surface and the internal surface the external surface.
13. The necklace anchor as claimed in claim 11, comprising: the attachment bar being centrally positioned on the external surface; the adhesive layer being coated on the internal surface of the base.
14. The necklace anchor as claimed in claim 11, comprising: the attachment bar having a first end a second end; the external surface having an upper half a lower half; and the first end being attached to the upper half of the external surface

The necklace anchor as claimed in claim 14 comprising: the second end being attached to the lower half of the external surface a first securement washer being perimetrically positioned around the first end of the attachment bar where it attaches to the external surface; and a second securement washer being perimetrically positioned around the second end of the attachment bar where it attaches to the external surface.

[0013] As shown in the figures, the present invention is a necklace anchor 1 which is a small patch that one can wear with a necklace to help keep the necklace from shifting during wear. An object of the present invention is to provide a small thin flexible apparatus to aid in securing a necklace's positionings. To accomplish this, the present invention is a flat circular patch made of flexible material made out of plastic, silicone, fabric or any material that maintains the function of the invention. The flexibility is needed to be able to bend as the user's neck moves and bends throughout the day. The patch is comprised of a flat circular panel that comes ready to be used in the packaging. The patch has a top side and an underside. On the underside of the patch, it is coated with a medical grade adhesive layer 23. This medical grade adhesive layer 23 provides all day long wear without concerns that the patch may wear off as the day progresses. The underside of the patch is the side that is adhered to the user's neck. The patch has multiple embodiments, allowing for a variety of styles of necklaces to be attached in a variety of different ways. The necklace can be clipped to an attachment bar 12 to ensure the necklace does not shift and twist during the day or while sleeping.
[0014] The patch operates by having the user place the patch on the back of their neck where the clasp of a necklace they are wearing might naturally sit. Once the position is determined, the user peels off the paper protecting the medical grade adhesive layer 23 prior to the patch's use. In one embodiment, the patch comes with a standard D shaped bar, in which a wearer will clasp together the two ends of a necklace and then also clips the clasp of the necklace on to the D shaped attachment bar 12 on the patch.

[0016] The attachment bar 12 has a first end 41 a second end 42. The external surface 21 has an upper half 31 and a lower half 32. The first end 41 of the attachment bar 12 being positioned on the upper half 31 of the external surface 21. Though the attachment bar 12 is placed on the upper half 31, it is not positioned at the outer edge 33. Further it is placed along the central axis of the base 11 so that necklace anchor 1 sits neutral when in use and does not keep the necklace in place in a lopsided position.
[0017] A first securement washer 43 is perimetrically positioned around the first end 41 of the attachment bar 12 where it attaches to the external surface 21. A second securement washer 44 is perimetrically positioned around the second end 42 of the attachment bar 12 where it attaches to the external surface 21. The first securement washer 43 and the second securement washer 44 are added features to ensure the attachment bar 12 does not break off from the base 11 while in use.
