HAIR ROLLERS ASSEMBLY

Abstract

A hair rollers assembly includes a pair of elongated hair rollers joined by a strap. The strap connects to an end face of each of the pair of elongated hair rollers.

Claims

1. A hair rollers assembly comprising: a pair of elongated hair rollers joined by a strap, the strap connecting to an end face of each of the pair of elongated hair rollers.

2. The hair rollers assembly of claim 1, wherein the strap is selectively detachable from each of the pair of elongated hair rollers.

3. The hair rollers assembly of claim 1, wherein the strap has a length that is adjustable.

4. The hair rollers assembly of claim 3, wherein the adjustment of the strap can be made as desired.

5. The hair rollers assembly of claim 3, wherein the adjustment of the strap can be made by a user of the hair rollers assembly.

6. The hair rollers assembly of claim 5, wherein the adjustment of the strap can be made by to address a shape or size of a head of the user.

7. The hair rollers assembly of claim 1, wherein the pair of elongated hair rollers are each adapted to be heated by placing in a microwave oven.

8. The hair rollers assembly of claim 1, wherein the pair of elongated hair rollers are each adapted to be cooled by placing in refrigerator, freezer or ice cooler.

9. The hair rollers assembly of claim 1, wherein the pair of elongated hair rollers are each filled with a material suitable for heating, cooling and re-heated in microwave.

10. The hair rollers assembly of claim 1, wherein the pair of elongated hair rollers are each soft.

11. The hair rollers assembly of claim 1, wherein the pair of elongated hair rollers are each flexible.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0020] Referring to the drawings and in particular to FIG. 1, an exemplary embodiment of a hair rollers assembly according to the present disclosure is shown and is generally referred to by reference numeral 10. Hair rollers assembly 10 has a cord or strap 12 connected to rollers 14, 16. Advantageously, a user can place strap 12 of hair rollers assembly 10 over a top of their head so that rollers 14, 16 hang down next to the user's ears. Hair is wrapped around rollers 14, 16 and allowed to set for a time. Hair rollers assembly 10 can be used in this way to get a beach wave setting hairstyle effect. A further advantage of hair rollers assembly 10 includes that rollers 14, 16 are joined by strap 12 that is adjustable in length and removable from rollers 14, 16 for various modes of use.

[0021] Referring to FIGS. 1-7, roller 14 is connected to a first end 18 of strap 12 and roller 16 is connected to a second end 20 of strap 12 opposite the first end 18. Each of roller 14, 16 are selectively removable from strap 12.

[0022] Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, strap 12 has an adjustable length as shown by arrows A and B of FIGS. 2 and 3, respectively, so that strap 12 can be adjusted between shorter and longer lengths. As shown in FIG. 2, strap 12 can have a first length, and as shown in FIG. 3, strap 12 can be adjusted to a second length that is longer than the first length of FIG. 2. Strap 12 can also have different lengths between the first length of FIG. 2 and the second length of FIG. 3. Strap 12 can also be modified to have longer lengths than the second length of FIG. 3 and/or shorter lengths than the first length of FIG. 2. A user can adjust the length of strap 12 to fit over the head of a user and thus is adjustable to the desired length of the use preferably with reference to the size/shape of the head of the user.

[0023] Referring to FIG. 8, strap 12 is connected to a first hook 22 on first end 18 and a second hook 24 on second end 20. First hook 22 selectively connects to one of rollers 14, 16 and second hook 24 selectively connects another one of rollers 14, 16. Alternatively, strap 12 could be connected to various other connectors to connect strap 12 to each of rollers 14, 16. Strap 12 has adjustment mechanism 26. Adjustment mechanism 26 can be any mechanism that can adjust a length L of strap 12. First hook 22 can maintain its position on first end 18 and second hook 24 can maintain its position on second end 20 when length L of strap 12 is adjusted by adjustment mechanism 26.

[0024] Referring to FIGS. 9-12, rollers 14, 16 are a pair of soft, fabric-covered, generally cylindrically shaped hair rollers. Rollers 14, 16 are shown as the same herein but could be different than one another. Another alternative includes that rollers 14, 16 can be different shapes, material and/or sizes. Rollers 14, 16 are heatable in a microwave oven or cooled in a refrigerator. Rollers 14, 16 can have a roller body 30 that is made of materials used for microwavable hair rollers, for example, as set forth in U.S. Pat. No. 4,710,609, issued Dec. 1, 1987 that is hereby incorporated by reference in its entirety. Each of rollers 14, 16 has a loop 28 on one end. First hook 22 and second hook 24 are removably connectable to each loop 28. Alternatively, strap 12 and rollers 14, 16 could have various other connectors to connect strap 12 to each of rollers 14, 16.

[0025] During use of hair rollers assembly 10, a user can place strap 12 over the top of their head so that rollers 14, 16 hang down next to the user's ears. Hair of the user is wrapped around each of rollers 14, 16 and allowed to set for a time to get a beach wave setting hairstyle effect. Heating rollers 14, 16 facilitates effective hair setting. Cooling rollers 14, 16 imparts smooth shine and texture to hair. Neither heating nor cooling, but wrapping hair around rollers 14, 16, facilitates hair setting. Additional hair accessories can be used with hair rollers assembly 10 to maintain the hair of the user wrapped around each of rollers 14, 16 while the hair sets, for example, clips, hairbands and the like. The adjustability of length L of strap 12 allows users of different ages and dimensions to use hair rollers assembly 10. In addition, the same user can achieve different styles by adjusting length L of strap 12.

[0026] A further advantage of hair rollers assembly 10 includes that rollers 14, 16 are removable from strap 12 for various modes of use. For example, rollers 14, 16 can be used while connected to strap 12 as described above or rollers 14, 16 can be used to impart curl to a user's hair while disconnected from strap 12.
