Abstract
Systems, devices, and methods for a master trainer having independent press arms with rotating pulley systems each with attached carriages that allows for the press arms and pulley systems and carriages to be adjustable to different heights in order to perform various exercises.
Additionally, the master trainer can be used with or without a bench with an adjustable back and seat allowing for varying exercises to be performed based on the height of the carriage system and adjustment of the bench.
Claims
1. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 1, wherein the pivotal arms having an initial horizontal position.
2. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 1, wherein the pivotal arms converge together when moved upward.
3. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 1, wherein the pivotal arms are independently moveable from one another.
4. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 1, wherein the carriages are independently movable from one another.
5. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 1, wherein the grip on each of the arms extend inward toward each other.
6. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 1, wherein the pulley system on each outward end of arm extending forward from the arm.
7. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 1, wherein the pulley system on each outward end of leg extending forward from each leg.
8. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 1, comprising a fastening member for attaching the carriages to the front vertical members.
9. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 1, the adjustable mounts include: Height adjustable vertical members having a plurality of vertically spaced apart opening; and a pin for locking the carriages to a selected one of the vertically spaced apart openings on the vertical members.
10. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 1, further comprising series of pulleys within each frame; a counter weight; and a flexible line having a first end attached to rear carriage top and a second end passing around the pulleys and attached to the top of the counter weight; a second flexible line attached to the bottom of the counter weight with second end passing around the pulleys and attached to carriage bottom, wherein the counter weight allows for the carriage to be easily positioned to a selected vertical height position.
11. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 10, wherein the flexible line includes a nylon encased steel cable.
12. the weight press and cable exercise system of claim 1, further comprising a series of pulleys within each frame; a weight stack; and a flexible line having a first end attached to front carriage top and a second end parring around pulleys and attached secured to front of each arm rotating pulley assembly, wherein the weight stack allows for the selection of different resistance amounts.
13. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 12, wherein the flexible line includes a nylon encased steel cable.
14. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 13, further comprising a pair of guide rods attached to the frame, wherein side holes in the weight stack plates to slide up and down when the pivotal press arm is lifted or the cable handle is pushed, pulled and/or pressed.
15. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 14, where in a pin is used to select resistance amount.
16. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 1, further comprising a bearing assembly attached to the carriage for allowing the carriage to slide up and down on the front pair of vertical members.
17. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 16, wherein the bearing system includes: front side bearings to allow for the carriage to ride up and down on a front side of vertical members; rear side bearing for allowing the carriage to ride up and down on a rear side of each of the vertical members; left side bearings for allowing the carriage to ride up and down on the left side of vertical members; and right side bearings for allowing the carriage to move up and down on the right side of vertical members.
18. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 16, wherein the bearing assembly includes: rotatable wheels on axles for allowing the carriage to ride up and down on each of the vertical members.
19. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 7, wherein the pulley system on each leg rotates to follow the pulley system on each converging arm.
20. The weight press and cable exercise system of claim 6, where the pulley system on each arm rotates to follow the pulley system on each leg.
