DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF DISCLOSURE
[0023] For a further understanding of the nature and function of the embodiments, reference should be made to the following detailed description. Detailed descriptions of the embodiments are provided herein, as well as, the best mode of carrying out and employing the present disclosure. It will be readily appreciated that the embodiments are well adapted to carry out and obtain the ends and features mentioned as well as those inherent herein. It is to be understood, however, that the present disclosure may be embodied in various forms. Therefore, persons of ordinary skill in the art will realize that the following disclosure is illustrative only and not in any way limiting, as the specific details disclosed herein provide a basis for the claims and a representative basis for teaching to employ the present disclosure in virtually any appropriately detailed system, structure or manner. It should be understood that the devices, materials, methods, procedures, and techniques described herein are presently representative of various embodiments. Other embodiments of the disclosure will readily suggest themselves to such skilled persons having the benefit of this disclosure.
[0024] Currently, headwear (e.g., hats, caps, helmets, etc.) does not include any type of protection to prevent the transfer of materials (e.g., hair, skin, oil, bacteria, germs, etc.) from the person's head to the headgear. As such, when a person puts the headwear on, there is a potential of the materials being transferred. For example, when a person tries on a hat prior to purchase, the materials may be transferred to the hat. If the person does not purchase the hat or returns the hat, the hat may be contaminated with the transferred material. As such, it may reduce the ability to resale the hat. Accordingly, the seller of the hat may preclude persons from trying on the hat prior to purchase or limit the ability of the hat to be returned.
[0025] Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a protective liner that can be removably attached to protect the interior of headwear (e.g., hats, caps, helmets, etc.) or the exterior of the headwear. As such, headwear (e.g., hats, caps, helmets, etc.) can be purchased with the liner installed, for example, by the headgear manufactured before being shipped to stores or direct to the customer or later by the retailer or end user. The liner creates a barrier between the person's head and the interior of the headwear. The barrier eliminates any opportunity for the transference of materials (e.g., hair, skin, oil, bacteria, germs, etc.) between the human head and the interior of headwear.
[0026] Reference will now be made in detail to various embodiments of the disclosure, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Wherever possible, the same reference numerals are used in the drawings and the description to refer to the same or like parts.
