Abstract
The three components are combined to create a device for hanging a TV, display screen, or other electronic display. A ring terminal is crimped on to each opposing end of a 1.5 mm wire. Ring terminals are sized to fit the bolts and horizontal length of the mounting holes on the back of a TV, display screen, or other electronic display. A length of wire longer than the horizontal distance between two points on the back of a TV, display screen, or other electronic display is used to create a partial loop. Ring terminal ends are sized to self-tapping screws or screws provided by the case or manufacturer mounts are used to attach the ring terminals and the associated wire to the TV, display screen, or other electronic display for hanging on a single hook, screw, or other receiving appending on a wall.
Claims
1. A device for hanging a TV, display screen, or other electronic display, consisting of: a length of wire; two ring terminals; and a ring terminal is crimped on to the end of each end of the length of wire.
2. The device of claim 1, wherein the wire is a 1.5 mm wire.
3. The device of claim 1, further comprising providing wire of a desired length.
4. The device of claim 1, further comprising cutting the wire to a desired length.
5. The device of claim 1, further comprising one or more crimps, and using one or more crimps to loop a wire into a desired length.
6. The device of claim 1, wherein the ring terminals are sized to fit the bolts and horizontal length of the mounting holes on the back of a TV, display screen, or other electronic display.
7. The device of claim 1, wherein the length of wire is longer than the horizontal distance between two points on the back of a TV, display screen, or other electronic display is used to create a partial loop, similar to that as used in hanging a picture.
8. The device of claim 1, wherein ring terminal ends are sized to self-tapping screws; and self-tapping screws are used to attach the ring terminals and the associated wire to the TV, display screen, or other electronic display for hanging on a single hook, screw, or other receiving appending on a wall.
9. The device of claim 1, wherein ring terminal ends are sized to screws provided by the case or manufacturer mounts; and the screws are used to attach the ring terminals and the associated wire to the TV, display screen, or other electronic display for hanging on a single hook, screw, or other receiving appending on a wall.
10. The device of claim 1, further comprising one or more lengths of shrink wrap tubing; applying a length of shrink wrap tubing to each end of the wire, securing a wire end section to a middle wire section, and enclosing the wire ends.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0022] In the following are detailed descriptions of the invention of exemplary embodiments. These embodiments are described in sufficient detail to enable those skilled in the art to practice the invention, but other embodiments may be utilized, and logical, mechanical, electrical, and other changes may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. The following detailed description is, therefore, not to be taken in a limiting sense, and the scope of the present invention is defined only by the appended claims.
[0023] In the following description, numerous specific details are set forth to provide a thorough understanding of the invention. However, it is understood that the invention may be practiced without these specific details. In other instances, well-known structures and techniques known to one of ordinary skill in the art have not been shown in detail in order not to obscure the invention.
[0024] The proposed invention is a device for hanging a TV, display screen, or other electronic display. The present invention is comprised of three components, a wire 101 as shown in
[0025] The three components are combined to create a device for hanging a TV, display screen, or other electronic display. As shown in
[0026] Ring terminals 103 are sized to fit the bolts and horizontal length of the mounting holes on the back of a TV, display screen, or other electronic display.
[0027] As shown in the prototype image of the invention of
[0028] In an alternative embodiment, shrink wrap tubing 104 is used in combination with the device to provide coverage for the wire ends as shown in
[0029] Thus, it is appreciated that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of the invention, to include variation in size, materials, shape, form, function, and manner of operation, assembly, and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one of ordinary skill in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the above description are intended to be encompassed by the present invention.
[0030] Furthermore, other areas of art may benefit from this method and adjustments to the design are anticipated. Thus, the scope of the invention should be determined by the appended claims and their legal equivalents, rather than by the examples given.
