Abstract
The device is for storing and transporting substances such as powder mixes. The device has a main body and a series of drawers removably engaged thereto. The main body has two sidewalls connected by a series of ledges. The ledges extend beyond the ends of sidewalls to form a series of slots. Slots accept drawers. At least one receiver on the interior surface of sidewalls engages with at least one catch on drawer to secure drawer to main body.
Claims
1. A portable container for storage of an amount of powder, said portable container comprising: a main body, wherein said main body has a series of ledges, having a top ledge, at least one internal ledge and a bottom ledge, connected in parallel planes to a first sidewall and a second sidewall, wherein said first and second sidewall have a first end, a second end, and an interior surface; wherein said series of ledges extend beyond said first and second end of said first and second sidewall; wherein said main body has a plurality of slots defined by two of said series of ledges, said first sidewall and said second sidewall; wherein said plurality of slots formed on said main body accept a plurality of drawers having a base and at least four walls, including at least two lateral walls, a front wall and a rear wall, wherein at least one of said at least two lateral walls have at least one catch; wherein said interior surface of said first and second sidewalls on said main body include at least one receiver; and wherein said plurality of drawers are configured to removably engage with said main body when said catch on said plurality of drawers engages with said receiver in said main body.
2. A portable container as recited in claim 1, wherein said plurality of drawers include a lid slidably engaged with said at least two lateral walls.
3. A portable container as recited in claim 1, wherein said plurality of drawers include a lid pivotally engaged with said at least two lateral walls.
4. A portable container as recited in claim 1, wherein said top ledge of said main body includes a handle.
5. A portable container as recited in claim 1, wherein said at least two lateral walls have at least two grips.
6. A portable container as recited in claim 1, wherein said main body is formed of a plastic polymer.
7. A portable container as recited in claim 1, wherein each of said plurality of slots includes at least two receivers.
8. A portable container as recited in claim 7, wherein each of said plurality of drawers includes at least two catches for engagement with at least two receivers.
9. A portable container as recited in claim 1, wherein said plurality of drawers further comprise an interior within said at least four walls, a top edge along said at least four walls and a perimeter around said at least four walls; and wherein a flexible material extends upward from said top edge and around said perimeter of said plurality of drawers configured to create a seal between said main body and said interior of said plurality of drawers.
10. A portable container for storage of an amount of powder, said portable container comprising: a plurality of drawers removably engaged with a main body; wherein said plurality of drawers have a base and at least four walls, including at least two lateral walls, a front wall and a rear wall; wherein said main body has a series of ledges, including a top ledge, a bottom ledge and at least one internal ledge connected to a first sidewall, having a first and second end, and a second sidewall, having a first and second end, to form a first plurality of slots and a second plurality of slots; wherein said first plurality of slots are formed on said first end of said first and second sidewall and said second plurality of slots are formed on said second end of said first and second sidewall such that said first plurality of slots is opposite said second plurality of slots, wherein said series of ledges extend beyond said first end and said second end of said first and second sidewalls such that a portion of said at least two lateral walls is exposed when said plurality of drawers are fully installed within said first plurality of slots and said second plurality of slots.
11. A portable container as recited in claim 10, wherein said main body further comprises at least one receiver on said first and second sidewall within said first and second plurality of slots.
12. A portable container as recited in claim 11, wherein said plurality of drawers further comprises at least one catch on said at least two lateral walls, wherein said catch removably engages with said at least one receiver on said main body.
13. A portable container as recited in claim 10, wherein said plurality of drawers include a lid slidably engaged with said at least two lateral walls.
14. A portable container as recited in claim 10, wherein said plurality of drawers include a lid pivotally engaged with said at least two lateral walls.
15. A portable container as recited in claim 10, wherein said top ledge of said main body includes a handle.
16. A portable container as recited in claim 10, wherein said main body is formed of a plastic polymer.
17. A portable container as recited in claim 12, wherein said at least two lateral walls have at least two grips.
18. A portable container as recited in claim 11, wherein each of said plurality of slots includes at least two receivers.
19. A portable container as recited in claim 12, wherein each of said plurality of drawers includes at least two catches for engagement with at least two receivers.
20. A portable container as recited in claim 10, wherein said plurality of drawers further comprise an interior within said at least four walls, a top edge along said at least four walls and a perimeter around said at least four walls; and wherein a flexible material extends upward from said top edge and around said perimeter of said plurality of drawers configured to create a seal between said main body and said interior of said plurality of drawers.
