DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0022] The innovation is now described with reference to the drawings, wherein like reference numerals are used to refer to like elements throughout. In the following description, for purposes of explanation, numerous specific details are set forth to provide a thorough understanding thereof. It may be evident, however, that the innovation can be practiced without these specific details. In other instances, well-known structures and devices are shown in block diagram form to facilitate a description thereof. Various embodiments are discussed hereinafter. It should be noted that the figures are described only to facilitate the description of the embodiments. They are not intended as an exhaustive description of the invention and do not limit the scope of the invention. Additionally, an illustrated embodiment need not have all the aspects or advantages shown. Thus, in other embodiments, any of the features described herein from different embodiments may be combined.
[0023] As noted above, there exists a long-felt need in the art for an improved cryotherapy device. There also exists a long-felt need in the art for a mobile cryotherapy device. More specifically, there exists a long-felt need in the art for a mobile cryotherapy device that provides a cryotherapy treatment, wherein the device is easily mobile.
[0024] The present invention, in one exemplary embodiment, is comprised of a mobile cryotherapy device. The device is comprised of a vehicle with an interior space with at least one cooling element. The cooling element can be used to cool the interior space to cryotherapy temperatures. The interior space is separated from an exterior door of the vehicle via at least one interior divider.
[0025] The vehicle may be any vehicle type but is preferably a box truck, a semi-truck and trailer, a cargo van, or any other vehicle with at least one rear exterior door and a large interior that can accommodate multiple individuals. The interior space of the vehicle is comprised of at least one cooling element capable of cooling the interior space to between 25 F. to 32 F. during cryotherapy. The interior space of the vehicle is separated from the outside via at least one exterior door.
[0026] The interior space is also comprised of at least one insulating interior divider. The divider allows the interior space to retain temperature while the exterior door is open. In one embodiment, the divider is comprised of at least one curtain/flap (preferably vinyl) that may be motorized or manually moveable to allow users to easily walk into the cooled portion of the interior space, wherein the divider also retains the temperature within said portion. In another embodiment, the divider may be comprised of an immovable insulated wall or partition comprised of at least one insulated door that allows a user to access the cooled area of the interior space.
[0027] The present invention is also comprised of a method of using the device. First, a device is provided comprised of a vehicle comprised of at least one exterior door and an interior space comprised of at least one cooling element and at least one interior divider. Then, a user can activate the cooling element to cool the interior space between 25 F. to 32 F. . . . Next, a user can open the exterior door and enter the interior space through the divider, which is preferably a flap or curtain. Finally, a user can remain in the interior space for a period of time during a cryotherapy session.
[0028] The present invention is also comprised of a second method of using the device. First, a device is provided comprised of a vehicle comprised of at least one exterior door and an interior space comprised of at least one cooling element, and at least one interior divider comprised of at least one door. Then, a user can activate the cooling element to cool the interior space between-25 F. to 32 F. . . . Next, a user can open the exterior door and enter the interior space through the door of the divider, which is preferably a wall. Finally, a user can close the door and remain in the interior space for a period of time during a cryotherapy session.
[0029] Accordingly, the mobile cryotherapy device of the present invention is particularly advantageous as it provides an improved cryotherapy device. More specifically, the device provides a cryotherapy treatment that is easily mobile. In this manner, the mobile cryotherapy device overcomes the limitations of existing cryotherapy devices known in the art.
