[0036] The present disclosure includes many aspects and features. Moreover, while many aspects and features relate to, and are described in the context of female outer sports garments, embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited to use only in this context.
[0037] The present invention is a female outer sports garment. It is an aim of the present invention to provide users with a sewn-in bra to provide adequate breast support while still maintaining a fashionable tank/vest outer appearance. It is another aim of the present invention to provide optimal breast support during high and low intensity workouts without requiring the user to change garments during a workout.
[0038] Referring now to the figures of the present disclosure. The female outer sports garment of the present invention comprises a front panel 110, a rear panel 120, and a breast support member 130.
[0039] The front panel 110 may have a left section 111 and a right section 112. It should be noted that the front panel 110 can be of any shape, size, material, features, type or kind, orientation, location, quantity, components, and arrangements of components that would allow the present invention to fulfill the objectives and intents of the present invention. The front panel 110 and the rear panel 120 are joined together to form a neck opening 117, a waist opening 118, and two arm openings 119. Preferably, the front panel 110 is permanently bonded to the rear panel 120 as a continuation of fabric weaving along the shoulders, left and right rib areas.
[0040] In one embodiment, the front panel 110 comprises a zipper 113 configured to move between an open position and a closed position. When the zipper 113 is in its open position, the left section 111 detaches from the right section 112, and when the zipper 113 is in its closed position, the left section 111 joins to the right section 112. Preferably, the zipper is a fastening strip that traverses along the center of the front panel 110 from the top to the bottom. The zipper 113 allows the user to open and close the front of the front panel, for example in order to put on or take off the garment of the present invention. In one embodiment, the front panel 110 further comprises a plurality of front reflective strips 116. It should be noted that the plurality of front reflective strips 116 may be positioned at any suitable location. Preferably, the plurality of front reflective strips 116 is positioned on either side of the zipper 113. In one embodiment, the front panel 110 further comprises a front transparent pocket 114. Preferably, the front transparent pocket 114 is located on the right section 112 of the front panel 110, adjacent to the zipper 113 and the waist opening 118. Preferably, the front transparent pocket 114 is square-shaped and features an upper opening, allowing the user to conveniently insert or remove a lighting device to improve visibility of surroundings as well as visibility of the user while performing an exercise within low visibility conditions. In one embodiment, the front panel 110 further comprises a front storage pocket 115. Preferably, the front storage pocket 115 is located on the left section 111 of the front panel 110, adjacent to the zipper 113 and the waist opening 118. The front storage pocket 115 is preferably designed with a horizontal rectangular shape with a side opening. Further, the front storage pocket 115 may comprise a snap pocket fastening flap. The snap pocket fastening flap is a flexible piece of fabric that covers the opening of the snap pocket with a central fastening means to close the snap pocket and secure any internal contents. The fastening means could be any suitable fastening means, including but not limited to hook and loop fasteners, snap buttons, zippers, magnets, etc.
[0041] The rear panel 120 connects to the front panel 110 along the top shoulder areas and along the left and right sides of the body. It should be noted that the rear panel 120 can be of any shape, size, material, features, type or kind, orientation, location, quantity, components, and arrangements of components that would allow the present invention to fulfill the objectives and intents of the present invention. The rear panel 120 may be designed with a similar material as the front panel 110 and a similar shape without a central gap where the zipper is positioned on the front panel 110. In one embodiment, the rear panel 120 comprises a plurality of upper back bands 121 laterally spanning the neck opening 117. The plurality of upper back bands 121 secures the left and right sides of the rear panel 120, close to the shoulder area, to each other. The plurality of upper back bands 121 is designed with an elastic material to accommodate varying sized individuals while still providing proper support. In one embodiment, the rear panel 120 further comprises a rear transparent pocket 124 located at a center of the rear panel 120, adjacent to the waist opening 118. The rear transparent pocket 124 is designed with a similar transparent material as the front transparent pocket 114 and is designed with a square shape to receive a lighting device. In one embodiment, the rear panel 120 further comprises a rear storage pocket 125 located at the center of the rear panel 120, adjacent to the neck opening 117. Preferably, the rear storage pocket 125 is designed with a vertical rectangular shape with an upper opening. The rear storage pocket 125 may comprise two compartments, i.e., a smaller compartment and a larger compartment. For instance, the smaller compartment may be used to store a credit card, while the larger compartment may be used to store a cell phone. The rear storage pocket 125 may comprise a rear pocket fastening flap. The rear pocket fastening flap is positioned along the upper opening of the rear storage pocket 125 and utilizes a flexible fabric material to cover the upper opening of the rear storage pocket 125. The rear pocket fastening flap is further designed with a fastening means to secure the rear pocket fastening flap to the rear storage pocket 125 to secure an internal object such as an electronic device within the rear storage pocket 125. The fastening means could be any suitable fastening means, including but not limited to hook and loop fasteners, snap buttons, zippers, magnets, etc.
[0042] In one embodiment, the rear panel 120 further comprises a plurality of rear reflective strips 126. In one embodiment, The plurality of rear reflective strips 126 traverses from an edge of the neck opening 117 to an edge of the waist opening 118 on either side of the rear storage pocket 125. In one embodiment, the present invention further comprises a plurality of opening reflective strips 128 positioned around the neck opening 117, the waist opening 118, and/or the arm openings 119.
[0043] The breast support member 130 is positioned internally within the present invention. It should be noted that the breast support member 130 can be of any shape, size, material, features, type or kind, orientation, location, quantity, components, and arrangements of components that would allow the present invention to fulfill the objectives and intents of the present invention. The breast support member 130 comprises a pair of bra cups 131 configured to support a user's breasts. In the present invention, the pair of bra cups are separated from each other. The pair of bra cups are attached to the left section 111 and the right section 112 of the front panel 110, respectively. The breast support member 130 may be a wireless bra without a connection along the front side in the middle where the zipper secures the left section 111 to the right section 112 of the front panel. The breast support member 130 is designed to provide adequate support for the breast area of the user to prevent pain, strain and bouncing during a high or low impact workout. In the preferred embodiment, the breast support member 130 is designed with vertical rear support straps. In an alternative embodiment, the breast support member 130 is designed with an X-shaped cross pattern design rear support straps. The breast support member 130 provides for maximal breast support while allowing for normal breathing during high impact exercises. The pair of bra cups 131 may be semi-firm, soft, and flexible support cups that snugly encompass under and over the breast areas of the user. The pair of bra cups 131 are then linked and secured to the rear support straps via a support strap positioned over each shoulder of the user. With all the components working in tandem with each other it can be seen that the present invention is a supportive female sports garment that provides optimal breast support during high and low intensity workouts without requiring the user to change garments during a workout.
[0044] The present invention may be designed with any suitable material. In a preferred embodiment, the front panel 110 and the rear panel 120 may be made from a two-layer fabric. The inner layer may be a breathable, semi-firm yet soft fabric, while the outer layer may be wind- and/or water-resistant material. The present invention is designed to be worn over standard workout attire, allowing for quick and convenient wearability and removal as needed.
[0045] It is envisioned that the sizes of the components forming the present invention such as the front panel 110, the rear panel 120, and/or the breast support member 130 can vary based on design requirements.
[0046] Although the disclosure has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the disclosure.
