    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0036] The utility model is further described below in detail in combination with the drawings and embodiments.

[0037] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a folding table comprises a tabletop, wherein the tabletop comprises at least two table plates 100; taking two table plates 100 as an example, the two table plates 100 are hinged by hinging pieces 200 to enable the two table plates 100 to be folded or unfolded flatly; edges of the table plates 100 are in threaded connection with table legs 300 which are used for supporting the tabletop; adjacent sides of the two table plates 100 are provided with twist locks 400, respectively; each twist lock 400 comprises a base 410, a sliding rod 430 and an operating part 420, wherein a chute 411 is formed in the base 410, and the sliding rod 430 is slidably arranged in the chute 411 and can extend out of the chute 411 or hide in the chute 411; when the tabletop is unfolded, the sliding rod 430 in one base 410 extends out of the base 410 and enters the chute 411 of another base 410, thus to use the sliding rod 430 placed transversely at a hinging position of the two table plates 100 to prevent the two table plates 100 from folding around the hinging pieces 200 and realize locking of the tabletop; the operating part 420 is connected with the sliding rod 430 which is used by an user to poke the operating part 420, thus to drive the sliding rod 430 to extend and retract in the chute 411.

[0038] In the embodiment, referring to FIG. 5, the base 410 has a semicircular structure, the chute 411 is a semicircular curved groove formed in the base 410, and both ends of the curved groove have openings in the side surfaces on the base 410 to facilitate the sliding rod 430 to enter and exit from the chute 411; correspondingly, the sliding rod 430 also has a semicircular curved structure, so that when the tabletop is in an unfolded state, two bases 410 are closed up to form a circular structure; when the sliding rod 430 extends out of one base 410 and is abutted against the sliding rod 430 of another base 410 to make the sliding rod 430 of another base 410 slide and extend out of its own chute 411, the sliding rods 430 in the two bases 410 are inserted into the chutes 411 of each other; therefore, combination and locking between two twist locks 400 can be easily achieved; of course, sliding of the sliding rods 430 can also be achieved by simultaneously poking two operating parts 420 to move the sliding rods 430.

[0039] In the embodiment, due to the arrangement of the two twist locks 400, compared with the arrangement of one twist lock 400, and with the design that the sliding rods 430 in the twist locks 400 are inserted into the tabletop, it is not necessary to form sliding rod grooves corresponding to sliding rods 430 in the tabletop, and an acting force exerted on the tabletop during unfolding fully acts on the two bases 410 and the sliding rods 430, so that the supporting strength of the twist locks 400 after unfolding of the tabletop is effectively increased.

[0040] In the embodiment, referring to FIGS. 6 and 7, movable inserting rods 150 are movably inserted in the table plates 100; correspondingly, the table plates 100 have through holes in upper ends provided with the twist locks 400, and the movable inserting rods 150 can enter and exit from the through holes; when the sliding rods 430 in the two twist locks 400 are inserted into the chutes 411 of each other (in a state as shown in FIG. 7) to lock the tabletop in the unfolded state, the movable inserting rods 150 are abutted against the operating parts 420 to prevent the operating parts 420 from moving, thus to lock the sliding rods 430 firmly in the chutes 411 of each other and realize stability by the twist locks 400 when the tabletop is in a folded state.

[0041] In the embodiment, as long as the movable inserting rods 150 can be used to prevent the sliding rods 430 from moving in the chutes 411 when extending out of the table plates 100, the operating parts 420 thereof can also be inserted directly into the sliding rods 430, thus to prevent the sliding rods 430 from moving in the chutes 411 and realize the above effect; it can be contemplated that the restriction of the sliding rods 430 or the operating parts 420 by the movable inserting rods 150 can also be realized by abutting or clamping; for example, a U-shaped slot is formed in a lower end of each movable inserting rod 150, and the movable inserting rods 150 can be directly clamped on the operating parts 420 after extending out of the table plates 100, which can also realize the restriction of the operating parts 420.

[0042] Based on the above-mentioned embodiment, in order to further increase stability of the tabletop in the unfolded state, hinged sides of the adjacent table plates 100 are provided with mortise lock mechanisms, each mortise lock mechanism comprises an inserting slot 160 and an elastic telescopic rod, the inserting slot 160 is formed in one side of one table plate 100 and is communicated with the through hole along a radial direction of the through hole, and the elastic telescopic rod is arranged on a side surface of the other table 100; when the tabletop is in the unfolded state, one end of the elastic telescopic rod is correspondingly inserted into the inserting slot 160, so that the stability of the tabletop in the unfolded state can be increased by inserting the elastic telescopic rod into the inserting slot 160; one end of the elastic telescopic rod close to the inserting slot 160 is provided with a guide bevel 121 forming wedge matching with a side surface of the movable inserting rod 150; the guide bevel 121 is provided to facilitate linkage between the elastic telescopic rod and the movable inserting rod 150; when the movable inserting rod 150 is pulled out from the through hole to release the abutting state between the movable inserting rod 150 and the operating part 420, the movable inserting rod 150 can move and retract after abutting against the elastic telescopic rod to reduce the depth of the elastic telescopic rod inserted into the inserting slot 160, thus to facilitate the two table plates 100 to turn and fold smoothly when turning around the hinging pieces 200.

[0043] Further, the inner diameter of the inserting slot 160 can be designed to be larger than the diameter of the elastic telescopic rod, so that the elastic telescopic rod can enter and exit from the inserting slot 160 smoothly.

[0044] In the embodiment, referring to FIG. 6, in order to facilitate accommodation of the elastic telescopic rod, a blind hole 110 can be formed in one side of the table plate 100, and the elastic telescopic rod is correspondingly arranged in the blind hole 110; as an implementation mode of the elastic telescopic rod, the elastic telescopic rod comprises a lock rod 120 and an elastic part 130, one end of the lock rod 120 is elastically inserted in the blind hole 110 through the elastic part 130, and the other end of the lock rod 120 is provided with the guide bevel 121; when one end of a spring provided with the guide bevel 121 is extruded by the movable inserting rod 150, the spring can move towards the blind hole 110 to retract into the blind hole 110, which facilitates provision of a prerequisite for subsequent folding of the tabletop.

[0045] In the embodiment, as a wedge matching mode between the movable inserting rod 150 and the lock rod 120, a groove 140 can be formed in one side of the movable inserting rod close to the lock rod 120, and the bottom of the groove 140 is abutted against the guide bevel 121, so that when the movable inserting rod 150 is lifted upwards, the groove 140 is abutted against the guide bevel 121 to driven the lock rod 120 to move and retract into the blind hole 110; of course, a convex curved surface can also be arranged on the side surface of the movable inserting rod 150, and the above effect can also be achieved by wedge matching between the curved surface and the guide bevel 121.

[0046] In the embodiment, the elastic part 130 can be a compression spring, a spring, an elastic rubber part or any other elastic part 130, as long as the elastic part 130 can provide elastic support for the lock rod 120 in normal conditions and can retract to allow the sliding rod 430 to move when the lock rod 120 is extruded; the elastic part 130 can also have other structures, which will not be repeated herein.

[0047] In the embodiment, in order to adjust the displacement of the movable inserting rod 150, a lifting belt can be arranged on an upper end of the movable inserting rod 150 to facilitate operation of the movable inserting rod 150.

[0048] Referring to FIG. 3, a self-locking hinge has the ability of locking itself after the tabletop is folded to prevent the two table plates 100 from turning continuously around the hinging pieces 200, thus to increase the stability of the tabletop after folding. Referring to FIG. 4, A is a state of the self-locking hinge when the tabletop is unfolded, and B is a state of the self-locking hinge when the tabletop is folded; the self-locking hinge is a prior art, and therefore will not be repeated herein.
