    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0014] All illustrations of the drawings are for the purpose of describing selected versions of the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.

[0015] The present invention is a plastic vacuum formed mold to help create a concrete panel for a garden bed. The present invention seeks to provide users with a device that can create interlocking concrete blocks to form a raised garden bed. In order to accomplish this the present invention comprises a mold cavity 1 that receives a liquid concrete mixture. Further, the flat top surface 2 provides a flat surface at the top of the mold cavity 1. Additionally, the plurality of tapered walls 3 allows for the present invention to move and let the cured concrete easily be removed. Thus, the present invention is a plastic mold for creating a concrete interlocking garden bed wall 4.

[0016] As shown in FIG. 1-10, the present invention is a plastic mold that creates concrete walls for a garden bed. An objective of the present invention is to provide users with a mold that easily releases the concrete once cured within the mold. The present invention intends to provide users with a device that can create concrete molds with cylindrical holes to allow for a securing rebar to traverse through the concrete, securing the wall in place. To accomplish this the present invention comprises a mold cavity 1, a flat top surface 2, and a plurality of tapered walls 3. The mold cavity 1 is positioned within the center of the present invention with the flat top surface 2 being positioned along the top opening 13 of the mold cavity 1 and the plurality of tapered walls 3 being positioned along the sides of the mold cavity 1. Thus, the present invention is a plastic mold for creating a concrete interlocking garden bed wall 4.

[0017] The present invention is a concrete garden bed mold that comprises a mold cavity 1, a flat top surface 2, and a plurality of tapered walls 3. The present invention is designed with an ABS mold plastic or various other plastic durable materials. The mold cavity 1 is an opening wherein concrete is poured to create an interlocking garden bed wall 4. The mold cavity 1 is designed with a rectangular shape that receives liquid concrete. The mold cavity 1 comprises a center portion 11 and a plurality of extended sides 12 as seen in FIG. 1. Each of the plurality of tapered walls 3 comprises a curved edge 31. The mold cavity 1 is positioned centrally within the concrete garden bed mold. The flat top surface 2 is positioned along the top opening 13 of the mold cavity 1. The plurality of tapered walls 3 forms the sides of the mold cavity 1. The center portion 11 forms the base of the mold cavity 1. The mold cavity 1 receives a liquid concrete mixture. The mold cavity 1 creates an interlocking garden bed wall 4 after the liquid concrete mixture has cured.

[0018] In reference to FIG. 1, the center portion 11 is rectangular shaped. As a result, the center portion 11 creates the base of the interlocking garden bed wall 4. The center portion 11 further comprises a raised area 111. Consequently, the raised area 111 reduces the area of the interlocking garden bed wall 4 created by the mold cavity 1. The raised area 111 is positioned centrally within the center portion 11. Accordingly, the raise portion creates a short hollowed out section of the interlocking garden bed wall 4 once the concrete mixture has cured. The raised area 111 protrudes forwards along the center portion 11.

[0019] Further, the raised area 111 reduces the weight of the interlocking garden bed wall 4 created by the mold cavity 1. Thus, the volume of the interlocking garden bed wall 4 is reduced as seen in FIG. 10, saving concrete and curing time. The raised area 111 does not inhibit the structural integrity of the interlocking garden bed wall 4 created by the mold cavity 1.

[0020] In reference to FIG. 3, the plurality of extended sides 12 extends from the left and right side of the mold cavity 1. The plurality of extended sides 12 forms a rectangular section along the top left side and the bottom right side of the mold cavity 1. So, the plurality of extended sides 12 forms a layered shape as seen in FIG. 3.

[0021] Further, the plurality of extended sides 12 enables the interlocking garden bed wall 4 created by the mold cavity 1 to have an interlocking section to form one wall of a four-sided concrete garden bed.

[0022] Furthermore, each of the plurality of extended sides 12 further comprises a plurality of holes 121 and a plurality of rods 122. The plurality of holes 121 traverses through the top and bottom of the plurality of extended sides 12. As a result, each of the plurality of rods 122 can pass through each of the plurality of holes 121 as seen in FIG. 2. The plurality of rods 122 engages with the plurality of holes 121. The plurality of rods 122 traverses through each of the plurality of extended sides 12. Consequently, the plurality of rods 122 ensures that the interlocking garden bed wall 4 has holes along each end, enabling stakes or rebar to pass through, linking each of the interlocking garden bed wall 4s to each other to form various sized and shaped garden bed formations.

[0023] In reference to FIG. 4, the flat top surface 2 forms a flat base along the front of the concrete garden bed mold. The flat top surface 2 is a flat panel designed with an ABS material, plastic, or durable lightweight material that can form a mold. The flat top surface 2 connects to the front edges of the plurality of tapered walls 3. As a result, the flat top surface 2 is positioned along the front of the present invention and presents various labels or writings that can display measurements or logos.

[0024] As shown in FIG. 9, each of the plurality of tapered walls 3 comprises a curved edge 31. Each of the plurality of tapered walls 3 has a degree of draft from 1-5 degrees. Thus, the plurality of tapered walls 3 creates a slight angle as the plurality of tapered walls 3 traverses towards the opening of the mold cavity 1. Each of the plurality of tapered walls 3 forms an angled wall along the sides of the mold cavity 1. So, the plurality of tapered walls 3 ensures for the present invention to move as a concrete mixture is poured into the mold cavity 1, preventing the interlocking garden bed mold from getting stuck within the present invention once cured. The curved edge 31 provides a non-sharp edge wherein the flat top surface 2 engages with the plurality of tapered walls 3 and wherein the plurality of tapered walls 3 engages with the center portion 11. The curved edge 31 ensures the interlocking garden bed wall 4 created by the mold cavity 1 has curved edges and corners. So, the resulting interlocking garden bed wall 4 does not have any sharp edges.

[0025] Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
