[0176] Please refer to
[0177] In some embodiments of the present application, the abdominal support belt includes a waist support portion 10 and a lower abdominal support portion 20.
[0178] The waist support portion 10 has a first upper edge 11 and a first lower edge 12, with a certain width between the first upper edge 11 and the first lower edge 12. The waist support portion 10 is configured to extend around a user's waist region and along both sides of the user when worn.
[0179] The lower abdominal support portion 20 has a second upper edge 21 and a second lower edge 22, with a certain width between the second upper edge 21 and the second lower edge 22. The width between the second upper edge 21 and the second lower edge 22 of the lower abdominal support portion 20 varies at different positions.
[0180] As shown in
[0181] In some embodiments, the abdominal support belt may be entirely made of the sheet material 50 or partially made of the sheet material 50, which is not limited in the embodiments of the present application.
[0182] As shown in
[0183] Referring to
[0184] The waist support portion 10 and the lower abdominal support portion 20 are connected at a junction 40. The lower abdominal support portion 20 is configured to be positioned over a lower abdominal region of the user when worn, and the first lower edge 12 slopes downwardly toward the junction 40. The junction 40 refers to the position where the waist support portion 10 and the lower abdominal support portion 20 are connected. By configuring the first lower edge 12 to slope downwardly toward the junction 40, after the lower abdominal support portion 20 and the waist support portion 10 are tightened and connected, the upward lifting force of the lower abdominal support portion 20 is increased, thereby enhancing the support force for the user's abdomen and improving the support effect while reducing the user's burden.
[0185] In one embodiment, the first lower edge 12 of the waist support portion 10 is configured to terminate at or below an iliac crest of the user's pelvis when worn. The first lower edge 12 of the waist support portion 10 is designed to terminate at the iliac crest of the user's pelvis or at least below the iliac crest. This means that, when worn, the end of the waist support portion 10 will be adjacent to or cover the iliac crest, a key anatomical landmark where the waist and hips meet. This area typically requires additional support to alleviate lumbar load and prevent discomfort or injury caused by excessive stress on the lower back. Through this precise design, the product can better perform its waist support and protection functions.
[0186] In one embodiment, the second upper edge 21 is provided with a notch 211 configured to avoid the navel when worn. In some embodiments, the notch 211 is designed to avoid the user's navel. This means that the second upper edge 21 is specifically designed with the notch 211 to ensure that, when worn, the notch does not directly press against the navel area, thereby improving comfort and avoiding potential pressure or friction on the sensitive skin around the navel. It is noted that users of the abdominal support belt, such as pregnant women or individuals with a larger abdomen, often have a protruding navel. The notch 211 effectively avoids the protruding navel, preventing any potential damage to the user's navel.
[0187] In one embodiment, the lower abdominal support portion 20 is detachably connected to the waist support portion 10. The connection between the lower abdominal support portion 20 and the waist support portion 10 adopts a detachable design, specifically using hook-and-loop fasteners for convenient assembly and disassembly. In some embodiments, the lower abdominal support portion 20 is provided with loop surface 23 of the hook-and-loop fastener, while the waist support portion 10 is provided with hook surface 14, allowing the two portions to be securely combined through the hook-and-loop mechanism. Alternatively, the waist support portion 10 may be provided with loop surface 23, and the lower abdominal support portion 20 may be provided with hook surface 14. The hook surface and loop surface each have a certain length, enabling the length formed by the lower abdominal support portion 20 and the waist support portion 10 to be adjustable, thereby accommodating the waist sizes of different users. It should be understood that, in other embodiments, the detachable connection between the lower abdominal support portion 20 and the waist support portion 10 may adopt other detachable and adjustable methods. For example, one portion may be provided with hooks, and the other portion may be provided with loops, allowing the hooks to engage with or disengage from the loops. By arranging multiple rows of hooks or loops, the waist size can be adjusted.
[0188] In one embodiment, the lower abdominal support portion 20 and the waist support portion 10 are connected via hook-and-loop fasteners, wherein one of the lower abdominal support portion 20 or the waist support portion 10 is provided with hook surface, and the other is provided with loop surface. In some embodiments, as shown in
[0189] As shown in
[0190] In one embodiment, the lower abdominal support portion 20 is curved downwardly from a central region to opposing ends. By configuring the ends of the lower abdominal support portion 20 to curve downwardly, the upward lifting force of the lower abdominal support portion 20 is enhanced after it is connected to the waist support portion 10, thereby improving the support effect of the lower abdominal support portion 20.
[0191] In one embodiment, a central width of the lower abdominal support portion 20 is greater than widths at its opposing ends. Optionally, the central width of the lower abdominal support portion 20 is approximately equivalent to the width of the user's palm. This design considers ergonomic principles, allowing the lower abdominal support portion 20 to better fit the user's body shape and provide effective support. When the central width is greater than the widths at the ends, it better accommodates the natural curve of the user's abdomen, especially in the area from the waist to the pelvis, which is typically wider than the sides of the abdomen. This design helps distribute pressure, reduce localized pressure points, and improve wearing comfort.
[0192] Optionally, the central width of the lower abdominal support portion 20 is approximately equivalent to the width of the user's palm, which is an intuitive and practical size reference. Pregnant women often naturally support their lower abdomen with their palms during pregnancy, and this design aligns with bionics, simulating the effect of palm support. The width of the palm is a relatively fixed personal size benchmark, ensuring that the size design of the support portion is neither too wide to appear bulky nor too narrow to provide sufficient support area. This size setting makes the product more universal, maintaining good adaptability among users of different body types. It also allows users to easily judge and adjust, ensuring that the product fits their individual body characteristics, thereby enhancing user satisfaction and effectiveness.
[0193] In some embodiments, the abdominal support belt is provided with ventilation apertures (not shown) in at least a portion of its area.
[0194] As shown in
[0195] As shown in
[0196] In one embodiment, the upper abdominal support portion 30 and the waist support portion 10 are cut from the same sheet material. The sheet material is formed using a bonding process, which allows for free cutting compared to other fabrics.
[0197] As shown in
[0198] In one embodiment, the connection position of the left strap 31 and the right strap 32 is adjustable to adapt the length of the upper abdominal support portion 30 to different users.
[0199] Optionally, the left strap 31 and the right strap 32 are connected via hook-and-loop fasteners, wherein one of the left strap 31 or the right strap 32 is provided with hook surface, and the other is provided with loop surface. Both the hook surface and the loop surface have a certain length to allow adjustable connection of the left strap 31 and the right strap 32. As shown in
[0200] As shown in
[0201] In one embodiment, the first lower edge 12 of the waist support portion 10 is linear at least at a portion corresponding to the user's back. The first lower edge 12 may be polygonal overall, formed by multiple connected segments.
[0202] Refer to
[0203] In one embodiment, the sheet material 50 includes a first outer layer 51, a second outer layer 53, and an adhesive layer 52 disposed between the first outer layer 51 and the second outer layer 53.
[0204] As shown in
[0205] Refer to
[0206] Refer to
[0207] Refer to
[0208] It should be understood that, in other embodiments, the abdominal support belt may adopt other configurations. For example, the lower abdominal support portion and the upper abdominal support portion may both be integrally formed with the waist support portion. Optionally, the lower abdominal support portion, the upper abdominal support portion, and the waist support portion may be cut from the same sheet material.
[0209] Embodiments of the present application improve the upward lifting force of the abdominal support belt by providing: a waist support portion having a first upper edge and a first lower edge, wherein the waist support portion is configured to extend around a user's waist region and along both sides of the user when worn; and a lower abdominal support portion having a second upper edge and a second lower edge, wherein the waist support portion and the lower abdominal support portion are connected at a junction, and the lower abdominal support portion is configured to be positioned over a lower abdominal region of the user when worn; wherein at least one of the waist support portion or the lower abdominal support portion is at least partially formed from a sheet material comprising a first outer layer, a second outer layer, and an adhesive layer disposed between the first outer layer and the second outer layer.
