These beds have special features both for comfort And well-being. In addition, it is an adjustable bed that is typically seen in a hospital setting however it can be bought for home use. Here are some of the features of a traditional hospital bed.
[0011] Adjustable height-which allows not only the whole body but also the head and feet sections. Side rails which can be lowered or raised to prevent patients from accidentally falling out of bed.
[0012] Electronic comforts-which allows patients or caregivers to adjust the bed's position easily and use other nearby electronic devices.
[0013] Alternating pressure mattress-some hospital beds feature alternating pressure mattresses that may use computer-controlled pumps to automatically inflate or deflate, thereby reducing the risk of bed sores.
[0014] Bed exit alarm-a pressure pad in or on the mattress that triggers an audible alert. This alarm helps check patients getting in and out of the bed helping to prevent falls or unsupervised wandering with elderly or memory impaired patients.

The movable toilet, and movable track, inside of the uniquely designed alternating pressure mattress with circular opening gives the patient and hospital staff a sense of comfort because, should the patient unable to move but needing to eliminate human waste and no one is around, the patient is protected from the humiliating embarrassment that comes from not being able to go to the bathroom on their own and having to lay in their own feces or urine for any length of time or having to lay on a very painful bed-pan because of staff shortages.
