DEVICE FOR PREVENTING A FAUCET FROM LEAKING WATER AND FLOWING BACK

Abstract

A device for preventing a faucet from leaking water and flowing back is disclosed, including an outer cover and an inner lining member, the inner lining member is provided in the outer cover. The outer cover is configured to cover a wall at a back end of the faucet to prevent water from flowing back, the inner lining member is provided with a plug hole for a water pipe to be plugged in, and the liner lining member is formed with a waterproof section on an outside of the plug hole to prevent water from flowing back into the wall. Through a combination design of the outer cover and the inner lining member and with assistance of an annular washer, thereby realizing effective shielding and waterproofing of the wall at the back end of the faucet.

Claims

1. A device for preventing a faucet from leaking water and flowing back, comprising an outer cover and an inner lining member; wherein the inner lining member is provided in the outer cover; and wherein the outer cover is configured to cover a wall at a back end of the faucet to prevent water from flowing back, the inner lining member is provided with a plug hole for a water pipe to be plugged in, and the liner lining member is formed with a waterproof section on an outside of the plug hole to prevent water from flowing back into the wall.

The device for preventing the faucet from leaking water and flowing back according to claim 1, wherein the outer cover and the inner lining member are both circular, a center of the outer cover is provided with a faucet holding slot for accommodating a tail of the faucet, and the inner lining member is provided with a corresponding avoiding slot.

3. The device for preventing the faucet from leaking water and flowing back according to claim 2, wherein an edge of the outer cover is circumferentially outwardly and inwardly provided with a waterproof slope and an edge of the inner lining member is provided with a corresponding avoiding slope.

The device for preventing the faucet from leaking water and flowing back according to claim 3, wherein further comprises an annular washer, the inner lining member is provided with an annular step on the outside of the plug hole, and the annular washer is configured to be sleeved on the water pipe to prevent water from flowing back.

5. The device for preventing the faucet from leaking water and flowing back according to claim 4, wherein the outer cover is made of stainless steel.

6. The device for preventing the faucet from leaking water and flowing back according to claim 5, wherein the inner lining member is made of plastic material.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS

[0016] The present disclosure relates to a device for preventing a faucet from leaking water and flowing back, for covering the wall at the back end of the faucet and preventing water from flowing back. Specific embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail below in conjunction with accompanying drawings.

[0017] As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 4, in some embodiments of the present disclosure, a device for preventing a faucet from leaking water and flowing back is provided, including an outer cover 1 and an inner lining member 2. The outer cover 1 is configured to cover a wall at a back end of the faucet to prevent water from flowing back to the wall, and the inner lining member 2 is provided in the outer cover 1. The inner lining member 2 is provided with a plug hole 21 for a water pipe to be plugged in, and in actual use, the plug hole 21 is sleeved on an outer wall of the water pipe to avoid water flowing to the wall through the water pipe, thus a waterproof section is formed on an outside of the plug hole to prevent water from flowing back into the wall.

[0018] In specific embodiments, as shown in FIG. 2 to FIG. 4, the outer cover 1 and the inner lining member 2 are both designed as circular, and such shape can better fit shapes of most faucets and installation environments. A center of the outer cover 1 is provided with a faucet holding slot 11 for accommodating a tail of the faucet, so that the faucet and the wall can be covered up without leaving a gap. And accordingly, the inner lining member 2 provided with a corresponding avoiding slot 22 to avoid the faucet holding slot 11 on the outer cover 1, so that entire device can be installed smoothly.

[0019] To further enhance waterproof effect, an edge portion of the outer cover 1 is designed with a waterproof slope 12, which is a slope structure that can guide water to avoid water seeping into the wall. And meanwhile, an edge of the inner member 2 is correspondingly provided with an avoiding slope 23 to ensure a close fit between the inner lining member 2 and the outer cover 1.

As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the annular washer 3 is provided on an annular step 24 on the outside of the plug hole 21 of the inner lining member 2. When the water pipe is plugged into the plug hole 21, the annular washer 3 will be tightly sleeved on the water pipe, and due to annular the washer has a certain degree of scalability, thus further preventing water from flowing back from the water pipe into the wall.

[0021] In some embodiments, the outer cover 1 is made of stainless steel, which has corrosion and abrasion resistance properties, and can ensure that the outer cover 1 still maintains good appearance and functionality after long-term used in a humid environment. And in some other embodiments, the inner lining member 2 is made of plastic material, which on the one hand, can be used for a long period of time, and on the other hand, portions outside of the water pipe is all covered, thereby can prevent water from flowing back.
