[0027] The present invention, in one exemplary embodiment, is an integrated liquid (i.e., coffee) and egg system. The system features a bottom microwave-safe container with a base and a cylindrical wall extending vertically from the base, a protective lid removably attached to the top periphery of the bottom microwave-safe. A top enclosure is integrated with the protective lid and is sealed using an adhesive. The top enclosure is adapted to store a hardboiled egg. A temperature indicator is disposed on the outer surface of the bottom microwave-safe enclosure to indicate the temperature of the coffee stored therein, and a built-in heating element is disposed in the base of the bottom microwave-safe enclosure for heating the coffee, operable by a control button. The container can also be put in a microwave for heating the coffee and the egg can be placed into the coffee for heating the egg and infusing with coffee flavor.

[0028] Referring initially to the drawings, FIG. 1 illustrates a perspective view of combined liquid (i.e., coffee) and egg packaged food device of the present invention in a packaged or sealed state in accordance with the disclosed structure. The integrated liquid (i.e., coffee) and egg system 100 is designed as a unique ready-to-eat food product consisting of black coffee and a hardboiled egg. More specifically, the food package 100 includes a top enclosure 102 and a bottom microwave-safe enclosure 104. The bottom microwave-safe enclosure 104 is in the form of a container and has a base 106 and a cylindrical wall 108 extending vertically from the base 106. The cylindrical wall 108 forms an interior cavity 110 (FIG. 2) for accommodating a pre-made coffee. The bottom microwave-safe enclosure 104 can have any geometric shape and can store up to 24 oz. of coffee. A protective lid 112 is adapted to removably attached to the top periphery 114 of the bottom microwave-safe enclosure 104. The protective lid 112 prevents the coffee from spilling when the food package 100 is transported or stored.

[0029] The top enclosure 102 is a convex-shaped enclosure and is preferably transparent or translucent. The enclosure 102 is integrated to the periphery 116 of the protective lid 112 and is sealed using an adhesive 117 with the outer surface 118 of the bottom microwave-safe enclosure 104. The top enclosure 102 is adapted to store one hardboiled egg 120 such that the egg 120 rests on the top surface 122 of the lid 112. The top enclosure 102 protects the hardboiled egg 120 from humidity, oxidation, and unsanitary conditions. The top enclosure 102 and the bottom enclosure 104 can be made of biodegradable plastic which can withstand microwave heating without releasing harmful chemicals. Alternatively, the enclosures 102, 104 can be made of food-grade silicone and microwave-safe paper products.

[0030] The packaged food device 100 can come in different sizes and is easy to carry, transport, and store. Further, the package food device 100 can be kept in a refrigerator for extending shelf life and can also be kept inside a microwave for heating coffee.

[0031] FIG. 2 illustrates a perspective view showing the top enclosure being removed from the bottom enclosure for removing the hardboiled egg in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. The adhesive seal 117 is broken or removed from the outer surface 118 of the container 104 and the top enclosure 102 is detached from the bottom microwave-safe enclosure 104. In the present embodiment, when the top enclosure 102 is removed, the protective lid 112 is also removed but keeps integrated to the top enclosure 102 enabling the egg 120 to remain sealed.

[0032] The container 104 can be kept in a microwave for heating the black coffee 124 and the container 104 can be directly used for drinking. The inner surface 126 of the container 104 can have a flavored coating 128 for introducing a flavor to the stored coffee 124. The container 104 provides insulation and the protective lid 112 can be used independently for covering the container 104. The packaged food device 100 enables a user to independently and selectively consume one of the coffee 124 and the egg 120 as per the preferences and is advantageous for commuting and travel.

[0033] FIG. 3 illustrates a perspective view showing the coffee container of the breakfast system placed in a microwave for heating coffee in accordance with the disclosed structure. The coffee container 104 can be used independently and with the lid 112 removed can be kept in a microwave 302 for heating the coffee 124 for consumption. The coffee 124 can be any coffee flavor or type such as decaf, espresso, and more. The material of the container 104 can maintain the temperature of the coffee 124 for up to 20 minutes.

[0034] FIG. 4 illustrates a perspective view showing the hardboiled egg being soaked, for example, in the hot coffee in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. The egg 120 can be easily removed from the enclosure or packaging 102 thereof and can be inserted into (i.e., steeped in) the hot coffee 124. This enables the egg 120 to simultaneously cool the coffee to a drinkable temperature while warming itself to an optimal eating temperature. Then, the egg 120 can be removed from the coffee 124 for consumption separately from the coffee 124.

[0035] FIG. 5 illustrates a perspective view of a packaged, pre-soaked coffee egg in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. In the present embodiment, the egg 502 is pre-soaked in coffee solution and is enclosed in a microwave-safe package or enclosure 504. The base 506 of the packaging 504 is made of silicone or paper for maintaining taste and shelf life of the egg 502.

[0036] FIG. 6 illustrates a perspective view of another embodiment 600 of the integrated liquid (i.e., coffee) and egg system of the present invention in a sealed state in accordance with the disclosed structure. In the present embodiment, the coffee container 602 includes a temperature indicator 604 indicating temperature of the coffee stored therein. The temperature indicator 604 is disposed on the outer surface 606 of the container 602 for easy accessibility. A built-in heating element 608 is disposed in the base 610 for heating the coffee and can be operated by a control button 612. The egg packaging or enclosure 614 is infused with a flavor including, but not limited to, coffee, herbs, and more for infusing a flavor in the stored egg.
