[0045] In the embodiments of the present application, the brassiere may include: an inner layer 10, an outer layer 20, and cups 30.
[0046] As shown in
[0047] The inner layer 10 and outer layer 20 may be fabric materials. The inner layer 10 may employ skin-friendly anti-slip fabric and may include ventilation holes. The inner layer 10 may use a nylon-spandex blended fabric, for example, a blend of 57% nylon and 43% spandex, with the inner layer 10 emphasizing skin comfort while maintaining structural stability through the nylon majority. The outer layer 20 may use high-elasticity fabric, which could also be a nylon-spandex blend, such as 61% nylon and 39% spandex. The outer layer 20 features high elasticity, with the spandex providing 30% stretch rate, and high abrasion resistance, with the nylon having a strength 4.5 cN/dtex, making it suitable for the molded outer side of the cups. In other implementations, the inner layer 10 and outer layer 20 may use alternative fabrics, which are not limited in the embodiments of this application.
[0048] As shown in
[0049] The outer layer 20 and inner layer 10 may be bonded using hot melt adhesive through laser cutting and heat pressing technology to achieve seamless bonding effects for the brassiere.
[0050] The adhesive 40 may be selected from hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive, water-based eco-friendly adhesive, reactive polyurethane hot-melt adhesive, acrylic adhesive, or polyurethane adhesive, all of which demonstrate excellent bonding performance and environmental properties to meet various application requirements, wherein the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive provides rapid curing and strong initial adhesion suitable for applications requiring fast bonding with high initial adhesion demands, while the water-based eco-friendly adhesive is characterized by environmental friendliness, non-toxicity and odorlessness better meeting modern health-conscious lifestyles, and the reactive polyurethane hot-melt adhesive combines polyurethane's superior elasticity with hot-melt adhesive's rapid-curing properties to achieve excellent bonding while maintaining garment softness and comfort, with acrylic adhesive offering good weather resistance and water resistance making it suitable for outdoor or humid environments and polyurethane adhesive featuring high strength and abrasion resistance being more appropriate for garment areas subjected to significant tension or wear, whereby selecting the appropriate adhesive type can further enhance garment quality and durability to satisfy diverse consumer needs.
[0051] As shown in
[0052] As shown in
[0053] As shown in
[0054] As shown in
[0055] In one embodiment, the outer neckline edge 22 of the outer layer 20 extends beyond the inner neckline edge 12 of the inner layer 10, thereby creating misalignment between the inner layer 10 and outer layer 20 at the brassiere's neckline edge position.
[0056] In one embodiment, the outer underarm edge 23 of the outer layer 20 extends beyond the inner underarm edge 13 of the inner layer 10, thereby creating misalignment between the inner layer 10 and outer layer 20 at the brassiere's underarm edge position.
[0057] In other embodiments, at least a portion of the edge of the inner layer extends beyond the corresponding edge of the outer layer, although such embodiments are not shown in the figures. For example, in one embodiment, the inner lower edge 11 of the inner layer 10 extends beyond the outer lower edge 21 of the outer layer 20, creating misalignment between the inner layer 10 and outer layer 20 at the brassiere's lower edge position. As another example, in one embodiment, the inner neckline edge 12 of the inner layer 10 extends beyond the outer neckline edge 22 of the outer layer 20, creating misalignment at the brassiere's neckline edge position. As a further example, in one embodiment, the inner underarm edge 13 of the inner layer 10 extends beyond the outer underarm edge 23 of the outer layer 20, creating misalignment at the brassiere's underarm edge position.
[0058] This approach enables design optimization tailored to the specific requirements of different brassiere sections. For instance, extension of the outer lower edge can effectively reduce discomfort caused by friction during wear while enhancing overall aesthetics; whereas extension of the inner neckline edge ensures proper fit while preventing excessive skin pressure, thereby improving comfort. Additionally, optimization of the underarm edge design through staggered alignment can reduce localized bulk, making the brassiere more lightweight and flexible during physical activities or daily wear. By implementing such differentiated treatments for specific edges, the design can better satisfy consumers' dual demands for both functionality and comfort, while simultaneously providing greater design flexibility and innovation potential for brassiere construction.
[0059] As shown in
[0060] The edge of the cup 30 may be designed in an arc or wave shape to better conform to body contours and improve wearing comfort. In some embodiments, the thickness of the cup 30 may be adjusted as needed, such as by increasing thickness in the brassiere's underband area to provide enhanced support. Furthermore, the surface of the cup 30 may incorporate ventilation holes or air channels to improve breathability and reduce heat buildup. To further enhance aesthetics, the outer surface of the cup 30 may be covered with a decorative material, which could either match the fabric of the outer layer 20 or feature special textures or patterns. In certain embodiments, the cup 30 may additionally include an antibacterial and deodorizing functional layer inside to meet specific user requirements.
[0061] The thickness of the cup 30 can be adjusted according to different needs to provide varying degrees of support and shaping effects. In some embodiments, the edge of the cup 30 undergoes special treatment to create a smoother transition between the inner layer 10 and outer layer 20, thereby reducing skin friction and irritation. Additionally, the design of the cup 30 may incorporate ventilation holes or moisture-wicking structures to enhance the brassiere's overall breathability and sweat-wicking performance, further improving wearer comfort. This design not only meets functional requirements but also considers aesthetics, making the brassiere more visually appealing.
[0062] In one specific embodiment, at least a portion of the edge of the outer layer 20 extends beyond the corresponding edge of the inner layer 10 by a distance ranging from 0.1 mm to 2 mm. Specifically, for example, the extension distance may be exactly 0.1 mm; or the extension distance may reach 1 mm; or the extension distance may be 2 mm.
[0063] In another specific embodiment not shown in the accompanying drawings, at least a portion of the edge of the inner layer extends beyond the corresponding edge of the outer layer by a distance ranging from 0.1 mm to 2 mm. This described overlapping condition actually encompasses various specific numerical values. For instance, the edge of the inner layer may extend beyond the corresponding edge of the outer layer by merely 0.1 mm, representing a minimal overlapping degree closest to the outer layer's edge; alternatively, the inner layer's edge may extend beyond the outer layer's corresponding edge by up to 1 mm, representing a moderate overlapping degree compared to 0.1 mm; or furthermore, the inner layer's edge may extend beyond the outer layer's corresponding edge by as much as 2 mm, representing a relatively substantial overlapping distance.
[0064] This differential edge design effectively enhances the brassiere's fit and comfort during wear. The overlapping portions of either the outer or inner layer can reduce discomfort caused by friction while improving the brassiere's stability during dynamic movements. Moreover, this design optimizes the brassiere's overall appearance, creating enhanced visual layering and refinement that meets consumers' higher demands for aesthetic appeal.
[0065] As shown in
[0066] In one embodiment, the width of the shoulder straps 60 can be adjusted as needed to provide better support and comfort. For example, the width may range from 1 cm to 5 cm, with specific values determined by the brassiere's design style and target user requirements. Additionally, the material of the shoulder straps 60 may vary, typically using soft yet elastic materials to reduce shoulder pressure. To further improve wearing comfort, the surface of the shoulder straps 60 may incorporate anti-slip patterns or soft padding to prevent slipping or digging during movement. This design enhances both functionality and user satisfaction.
[0067] The shoulder straps 60 are made of elastic material that automatically adjusts tension according to the wearer's body contours, providing optimal support. Their width and thickness are optimally designed to distribute pressure while avoiding visible shoulder indentations. Furthermore, the surface may include anti-slip textures or silicone strips to enhance stability during wear, particularly during physical activities. This design not only improves functionality but also prioritizes comfort, making the brassiere suitable for extended wear.
[0068] As clearly shown in
[0069] The support structure 70 is made of flexible material, yet with greater hardness than both the inner layer 10 and outer layer 20 fabrics, providing enhanced supportive lifting force. It can flexibly adjust its shape according to the wearer's movements, thereby offering additional support without compromising comfort. The thickness and hardness of the support structure 70 are precisely calculated to both enhance the cup's three-dimensional effect and avoid skin pressure. Furthermore, the design of the support structure 70 incorporates breathability considerations, featuring microporous structures on its surface to facilitate air circulation and reduce heat buildup. This design not only improves the brassiere's overall stability but also optimizes the wearing experience, making it more suitable for both daily wear and athletic activities.
[0070] In one embodiment, the support structure 70 comprises a lower support portion 71, lateral support portion 72, and upper support portion 73. These portions are sequentially connected end-to-end as an integrated structure, wherein the lower support portion 71 is positioned below the wearer's breasts when worn, the lateral support portion 72 is positioned at the sides of the wearer's breasts when worn, the upper support portion 73 is positioned above the wearer's breasts when worn.
[0071] In one specific embodiment, the support structure 70 mentioned here is mainly composed of the lower support portion 71, the lateral support portion 72, and the upper support portion 73. Specifically, the lower support portion 71, the lateral support portion 72, and the upper support portion 73 are sequentially connected end-to-end in order, thereby forming a complete integrated structure. More specifically, when the wearer wears this brassiere, the lower support portion 71 will be positioned below the wearer's breasts to provide certain supporting force from below; the lateral support portion 72 will be located at the sides of the wearer's breasts to provide corresponding lateral support and fixation; and the upper support portion 73, when the brassiere is worn, will be positioned above the wearer's breasts to provide certain auxiliary support to the upper part of the breasts.
[0072] In one embodiment, the lower edge of the outer layer 20 extends beyond the lower edge of the support structure 70, meaning the lower edge of the support structure 70 is misaligned with the lower edge of the outer layer 20 where the lower edge of the support structure 70 does not extend to the edge position of the brassiere, making the edge position of the brassiere thinner with better skin-contact effect and wearing comfort.
[0073] In one embodiment, the lower edge of the inner layer 10 extends beyond the lower edge of the support structure 70, which means the lower edge of the support structure 70 is misaligned with the lower edge of the inner layer 10, and the lower edge of the support structure 70 does not extend to the edge position of the brassiere, thereby making the edge position of the brassiere thinner and achieving better skin-contact effect and wearing comfort.
[0074] In one embodiment, the support structure 70 is sheet-shaped and is stacked between the inner layer 10 and the outer layer 20, being sandwiched between the inner layer 10 and outer layer 20.
[0075] In one specific embodiment, the support structure 70 is adhesively bonded to both the inner layer 10 and outer layer 20 by means of adhesive. Specifically, the support structure 70 has an inner surface and an outer surface, wherein the inner surface of the support structure 70 is firmly bonded to the inner layer 10 after application of suitable adhesive, while the outer surface of the support structure 70 is likewise tightly bonded to the outer layer 20 through use of adhesive.
[0076] In one embodiment, the support structure 70 is made of polypropylene, polyamide, resin, silicone, or metal coated with resin.
[0077] The material selection for the support structure 70 must balance flexibility and supportiveness to ensure the brassiere provides excellent support while maintaining comfortable tactile properties. Polypropylene and polyamide offer lightweight and durable characteristics suitable for areas requiring certain elasticity. The resin material can provide more stable support effects, making it applicable for designs requiring higher lifting capacity. With its soft and skin-friendly properties, silicone further enhances the wearing experience, while the metal material coated with resin combines the strength of metal with the comfort of resin.
[0078] As shown in
[0079] In one embodiment, the lower edge of the outer layer 20 extends beyond the lower edge of the support structure 80, meaning the lower edge of the support structure 80 is misaligned with the lower edge of the outer layer 20 where the lower edge of the support structure 80 does not extend to the edge position of the brassiere, making the edge position of the brassiere thinner with better skin-contact effect and wearing comfort.
[0080] In one embodiment, the lower edge of the inner layer 10 extends beyond the lower edge of the support structure 80, meaning the lower edge of the support structure 80 is misaligned with the lower edge of the inner layer 10 where the lower edge of the support structure 80 does not extend to the edge position of the brassiere, making the edge position of the brassiere thinner with better skin-contact effect and wearing comfort.
[0081] In one specific embodiment, the support structure 80 exhibits a sheet-like configuration, where this sheet-shaped design provides the support structure 80 with certain flatness and flexibility, and the support structure 80 is stacked with the inner layer 10 and outer layer 20, specifically being sandwiched between the inner layer 10 and outer layer 20, where this sandwiched arrangement enables the support structure 80 to better perform its supporting function while ensuring the stability and integrity of the entire structure.
[0082] In one embodiment, the support structure 80 is bonded to both the inner layer 10 and outer layer 20 via adhesive, with its inner surface adhered to the inner layer 10 and its outer surface adhered to the outer layer 20 through adhesive bonding. The support structure exhibits greater hardness than both the inner layer and outer layer. In a specific embodiment, the material for the support structure 80 may be polypropylene as a polymer material with well-balanced properties, or polyamide as an engineering plastic with high strength and wear resistance, or resin as a synthetic material with multiple excellent characteristics, or silicone as a soft and elastic material, or even metal coated with resin that combines metal's sturdiness with resin's special properties.
[0083] The embodiments of this application achieve improved brassiere performance by comprising: an inner layer; an outer layer stacked with the inner layer and at least partially bonded thereto via adhesive, where at least a portion of the outer layer's edge extends beyond the corresponding edge of the inner layer or vice versa to create edge misalignment; and cups disposed between the inner and outer layers. This stacked configuration with intentionally misaligned edges reduces thickness in edge regions compared to non-edge areas, thereby enhancing skin contact at the edges while improving both comfort and aesthetics.
[0084] Furthermore, this design effectively addresses the common issue of strap marks caused by thick edges in conventional brassieres. The misaligned edges enable better body contour conformity during wear, minimizing friction-induced discomfort. Simultaneously, the optimized cup positioning enhances overall structure, maintaining lightweight characteristics while providing adequate support. This construction not only improves user experience but also balances functionality with fashion appeal, meeting modern consumers' demands for high-quality undergarments.
[0085] Moreover, this unique layered edge design enhances the brassiere's adaptability across various scenarios. During daily activities, the thin edges resist displacement or wrinkling from body movements, maintaining consistent fit without restricting motion. For athletic use, the thinned edge design significantly reduces friction between the brassiere and clothing, preventing heat buildup and discomfort, allowing wearers to focus on their workout.
[0086] Additionally, the design creates more natural, streamlined contours. The edge thinning yields a refined appearance that remains discreet under tight clothing, satisfying aesthetic requirements. It also elevates the brassiere's overall texture, presenting a minimalist yet stylish look that aligns with contemporary consumers' pursuit of beauty and quality living standards.
