Abstract
A wiper associated with a cosmetic package for wiping a rod and an applicator part attached to the rod. The wiper comprises a hollow tubular body with a circumferential wiping lip extending inwardly into a hollow interior of the hollow tubular body. The circumferential wiping lip has an inner and outer surface, defining a first wiping orifice. The outer surface features uniformly spaced teeth having a downward and inward curvature towards a longitudinal axis of the wiper. Each tooth has two opposing main surfaces, an inner lateral surface and an outer lateral surface. The outer lateral surface has at least two concave notches. The teeth collectively form a second wiping orifice smaller than the first.
