[0008] FIG. 1 is a schematic structural view of the present invention.
[0009] FIG. 2 is an exploded structural view of the present invention.
[0010] FIG. 3 illustrates a first state of use of the present invention.
[0011] FIG. 4 illustrates a second state of use of the present invention.
[0012] FIG. 5 illustrates an alternative use of a supporting platform of the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0013] As shown in FIG. 1, an arm resting lap desk comprises a desk body 1 and a plurality of supporting legs 2; at least one side of the desk body 1 is provided with a supporting platform 3; the supporting platform 3 is stepped to form a first supporting surface 31 and a second supporting surface 32, where the first supporting surface 31 is positioned lower than the second supporting surface 32; the first supporting surface 31 is flush with an upper surface 11 of the desk body 1 to form a first supporting plane 4.
[0014] According to a specific embodiment as shown in the figures, for example in FIG. 3, the arm resting lap desk comprises said desk body 1 and said plurality of supporting legs 2; the plurality of supporting legs 2 are provided at a bottom surface of the desk body 1 so that a space 21 is formed under the desk body 1 to accommodate user's legs. In the specific embodiment as shown in the figures, each of two sides of the desk body 1 is provided with said supporting platform 3; each supporting platform 3 can support a corresponding arm of the user; each supporting platform 3 is stepped to form said first supporting surface 31 and said second supporting surface 32; the first supporting surface 31 is positioned lower than the second supporting surface 32, and the first supporting surface 31 is flush with the upper surface of the desk body 1 to form said first supporting plane. Each supporting platform 3 is stepped to form two different supporting surfaces such that the first supporting surface 31 is flush with the upper surface of the desk body 1 to form a first supporting plane to support a corresponding lower arm of the user (FIG. 3), while the second supporting surface 32 can be used to support a corresponding upper arm of the user (FIG. 4). Therefore, the user can choose different supporting surfaces according to different needs. One of said two sides of the desk body 1 is integrally formed with a corresponding supporting platform 3, while another one of said two sides of the desk body 1 is removably connected to another corresponding supporting platform 3. Accordingly, a position of said another corresponding supporting platform 3 can be adjusted to accommodate the needs of different users due to the removable connection between said another corresponding supporting platform 3 and said another one of said two sides of the desk body 1. Further, removable connection can allow said another corresponding supporting platform 3 to be used independently as a back rest cushion (FIG. 5). In another embodiment not shown in the figures, the supporting platforms 3 on both of said two sides of the desk body 1 are configured to be removably connected to the desk body 1. It should also be noted that, removable connection between any supporting platform 3 and the desk body 1 is meant to achieve a movable relationship, which is achievable not only through removable connection.
[0015] The preferred embodiments of the present invention are described above, but they are not intended to limit the present invention. The scope of protection of the present invention is defined by the claims. As the preferred embodiments as disclosed above are not intended to limit the present invention, any alternative configurations achieving the same technical effects are obtainable by changes or modifications of the present invention made by a person skilled in the art in accordance with the above disclosure without departing from the scope of the present invention. Any technical contents not deviated from the teachings of the present invention and achievable by simple changes, modifications or alternative configurations achieving the same technical effects based on the essence of the present invention should also fall within the scope of protection of the present invention.
