The base 11 is cylindrical and can store a nutrient solution to maintain the growth of a Christmas tree. Third elastic hinge pins 122 are arranged on the fixing rods 12, and clamping and limiting holes 211 corresponding to the third elastic hinge pins 122 are formed in ends, away from the fixing rods 12, of the clamping blocks 21. Clamping grooves 212 are formed in the clamping blocks 21 and fit the fixing rods 12 in size. The clamping blocks 21 can be folded by means of the clamping grooves 212, the third elastic hinge pins 122 can be clamped in the clamping and limiting holes 211 to attach the clamping blocks 21 to the fixing rods 12 to release the Christmas tree, and then the Christmas tree can be taken out. The stand assembly 1 further comprises a fixing ring 13, and the fixing ring 13 is fixedly connected to the fixing rods 12 and arranged at the tops of the fixing rods 12. The support base is not only suitable for the Christmas tree, but also suitable for various articles with a rod-like bottom similar to the Christmas tree such as sunshades and can support products with a rod-like end close to the ground.

[0038] The support base is used as follows:

[0039] The stand assembly 1 is fixedly placed at an installation position, the trunk of the Christmas tree is inserted into the base 11, the clamping blocks 21 of the clamping assemblies 2 firmly clamp the trunk of the Christmas tree, and the Christmas tree is kept in an upright state under the action of an elastic force of the elastic elements 22, such that the Christmas tree is installed on the support base. After the Christmas tree is installed on the support base, a nutrient solution can be poured into the base 11 to maintain the growth of the Christmas tree to keep the Christmas tree fresh.

[0040] When the Christmas tree needs to be detached, the clamping blocks 21 are pressed downward to allow the third elastic hinge pins 122 to be clamped in the clamping and limiting holes 211 to attach the clamping blocks 21 to the fixing rods 12, such that the Christmas tree is released and then taken out to be detached from the support base.
