    Abstract

    Disclosed in the present invention is a non-dispensing multilayer multipart decorative screw cap, comprising an inner screw unit and a multipart outer decorative unit. The inner screw unit has a threaded joint structure that is configured to secure the non-dispensing multilayer multipart decorative screw cap to a matching threaded joint structure to the mouth of a container. The outer multipart decorative unit may include any suitable structures or features configured to provide a unique, diversified and creative decorative design for the non-dispensing multilayer multipart decorative screw cap. The inner screw unit and the outer multipart decorative unit are permanently bonded together to form the non-dispensing multilayer multipart decorative screw cap, wherein the inner screw unit is disposed at least partially within the outer multipart decorative unit. Through the non-dispensing multilayer multipart decorative screw cap, consumers will have the freedom to choose various appearance designs for their containers whenever they want, so as to enhance the aesthetic effect and to express their personal styles.

    Claims

    1. A non-dispensing multilayer multipart decorative screw cap for sealing a mouth of a container, comprising: an inner screw unit, which includes a first threaded joint structure configured to cooperate with, a second matching threaded joint structure on a container; and an outer multipart decorative unit, which is comprised of multiple parts; Said inner screw unit is permanently bonded with said outer multipart decorative unit using any suitable manufacturing method, including but not limited to mechanical fastening, adhesive bonding, solvent bonding, molding, welding, or any combination thereof.

    2. The non-dispensing multilayer multipart decorative screw cap of claim 1, wherein said inner screw unit is disposed at least partially within said outer multipart decorative unit.

    3. The non-dispensing multilayer multipart decorative screw cap of claim 1, wherein said first threaded joint structure is disposed on an inner surface of a circumferential sidewall of the inner screw unit, and is configured to interact and mate with said matching second threaded joint structure on an outer surface of a container.

    4. The non-dispensing multilayer multipart decorative screw cap of claim 1, wherein said first threaded joint structure is disposed on a projecting interior portion of said inner screw unit, and is configured to interact and mate with said matching second threaded joint structure on an inner surface of a container.

    5. The non-dispensing multilayer multipart decorative screw cap of claim 1, wherein said inner screw unit further includes a sealing component, which is configured to fill the space between said non-dispensing multilayer multipart decorative screw cap and a container when said non-dispensing multilayer multipart decorative screw cap is secured to a container.

    6. The non-dispensing multilayer multipart decorative screw cap of claim 1, wherein each of said multiple parts of said outer multipart decorative unit further include one or more joint elements on their interior wall, configured to interact with corresponding joint elements of other said multiple parts of said outer multipart decorative unit and to form said outer multipart decorative unit.

    7. The non-dispensing multilayer multipart decorative screw cap of claim 1, wherein said multiple parts of said outer multipart decorative unit further comprise one or more housing modules on their interior wall and in addition, said inner screw unit further comprises one or more interlock elements disposed on or formed in its outer surface, configured to interact with the housing module(s) of said multiple parts of said outer multipart decorative unit and to form said non-dispensing multilayer multipart decorative screw cap.

The container(4) may include a bottle, can, jug, cup, mug, flask, carafe, or the like.

The first threaded joint structure(21) of the inner screw unit(2) of the non-dispensing multilayer multipart decorative screw cap(1) is configured to cooperate with, a second matching threaded joint structure(44) disposed on or coupled to the container(4).

In one selected aspect of the disclosure, the bonding between the inner screw unit(2), left part(36) of the outer multipart decorative unit(3) and right part(35) of the outer multipart decorative unit(3) is further reinforced with adhesive bonding, ensuring a strong and durable connection. As shown in FIG. 12, the assembly of the non-dispensing multilayer multipart decorative screw cap(1) is completed by inserting joint elements(371) of middle part(37) of the outer multipart decorative unit(3) into corresponding joint elements(362) and joint elements(352) formed in the left part(36) and right part(35) of the outer multipart decorative unit(3) respectively, as shown in FIG. 13.
