[0016] The spa dryer chair of the present application is a salon hair drying chair that is integrated with a massage chair, employing a variety of techniques such as kneading, rolling, shiatsu, and vibration through one or more massaging modules. These modules are adept at easing muscle tension, enhancing circulation, and providing pain relief. The chair's control panel offers an ergonomic and user-friendly interface, enabling effortless adjustments to the massage settings and the operation of a heated hair drying hood. The interior frame of the chair boasts a sturdy construction made from reinforced materials, designed to support the chair's structure and the embedded air heating and massage modules. The hair drying module features a high-temperature polymer hood with a dual-shell design, facilitating the even distribution of warm air for efficient hair drying. The system's air vent, heater, and pump are engineered to deliver controlled warm air, contributing to the chair's comprehensive suite of spa features. This spa chair represents a harmonious blend of comfort, durability, and technical sophistication, promising a luxurious and indulgent experience.
[0017] Clients seeking spa services often face the challenge of optimizing their time while desiring comprehensive wellness treatments. Traditional salon/spa experiences require separate sessions for hair drying and massage, leading to longer visit durations. Additionally, clients are looking for ways to enhance their health and beauty regimen by promoting hair growth and relieving muscle tension. There is a need for a solution that combines these services into one efficient session, providing both relaxation and health benefits, such as increased blood circulation for better scalp and skin health, without extending the overall spa visit time.
[0018] The spa massage dryer chair offers an innovative solution to the problem by integrating a hair drying hood with a full-body massage system within a single chair. This multifunctional chair allows clients to enjoy a relaxing massage that stimulates blood circulation, aiding in muscle relaxation and promoting hair growth, while simultaneously drying their hair. The chair's design maximizes the efficiency of spa visits by providing multiple wellness services in one sitting, thereby saving time and enhancing the overall client experience. With its robust construction and user-friendly control panel, the chair ensures a seamless and luxurious spa session that addresses the needs for comfort, health, and convenience in today's fast-paced world. This chair not only streamlines the spa service process but also elevates the standard of client care by offering a holistic approach to relaxation and well-being.

[0020] Chair 101 also includes hood apparatus 106 and hood 109. Apparatus 106 is configured to support and elevate hood 109 in an elevated orientation, ideally above that of a user's head. Hood 109 is made from sturdy high temperature polymers and includes an inner shell 110 and outer shell 112. A gap exists between the shells for the passage of air. Inner shell includes vent holes for the air to pass through from the gap to the concaved interior of the shells. In function, the air is provided to help dry the hair of a user resting in body 103. Air is provided to hood 109 through neck apparatus 107. Ducting 111 passes internally within apparatus 107 and is configured to be flexible so as to adjust with contour changes of apparatus 107. Warm air is provided through ducting 111 to the inner and outer shell and eventually through corresponding vent holes to the user. It is understood that apparatus 107 may be flexed and include one or more hinges or accordion style interfaces to allow hood 109 to be positioned accurately and safely over the user's head in a stationary orientation. Furthermore, ducting 111 may be insulated to reduce energy loss inside chair 101.
[0021] Chair 101 includes a control interface 113 for operation of hood 109 and its associated assemblies operable to deliver warm air through ducting 111. Interface 113 includes one or more buttons, touch screens, switches, or other known interfaces to allow an operator to regulate the delivery of air through hood 109. Different functions may be regulated such as the temperature of the air, the speed of the air, a timer whether it be automatic in that it selectively turns off air flow or that it be manual relying on an operator to respond to an audible notification. It is understood that other functions may be permitted that have not been specifically called out herein. The location of interface 113 may be any location on body 103 and is ideally suited to be adjacent to apparatus 107 such that an operator behind the client or user is easily able to reach and read interface 113.
[0022] The functions and operations of hood 109, apparatus 107, interface 113, and associated compressors or heating elements 115 comprise a combined hair drying module. The hair drying module is separate from that of the massaging functions of chair 101. The hair drying module is regulated through interface 113 which may include one or more input output interfaces and wireless communication suites to allow remote operation as well as data collection and transmission. It should be understood that the hair drying module may also include an electric motor 116 and heating element 115 to generate warm air and subsequently blow the warm air through hood 109. The heating element 115 can be removed from the chair for servicing and or replacement.
[0023] Referring now to
[0024] The massaging module of chair 101 may also include a control interface 117 configured to regulate operation of massaging elements 119. It is understood that interface 117 may include one or more input output interfaces and wireless communication suites to allow remote operation as well as data collection and transmission similar to that of interface 113. Interface 117 may include any number of switches, buttons, touch screens, or other physical or electrical interfaces to allow a user to efficiently operate the functions of the massaging module. Through interface 117 an operator is able to regulate functions of messaging elements 119 such as turning on or off one or more elements 119, adjusting intensity, timer functions, and the like. Interface 117 and interface 113 operate independent of one another although they may share a similar power source. The location of interface 117 is situated more in line with a users comfort and access. Such a location may include that of being located on armrest 105 as seen in the figures. This allows a user or operator to adjust the functions of massaging elements 119.
[0025] The current application has many advantages over the prior art including at least the combination of a massaging module and a hair drying module within a singular chair 101. A user resting on chair 101 may simultaneously receive a massage through the massaging module while drying their hair through the hair drying module.
[0026] The particular embodiments disclosed above are illustrative only, as the application may be modified and practiced in different but equivalent manners apparent to those skilled in the art having the benefit of the teachings herein. It is therefore evident that the particular embodiments disclosed above may be altered or modified, and all such variations are considered within the scope and spirit of the application. Accordingly, the protection sought herein is as set forth in the description. It is apparent that an application with significant advantages has been described and illustrated. Although the present application is shown in a limited number of forms, it is not limited to just these forms, but is amenable to various changes and modifications without departing from the spirit thereof.
