Abstract
An umbrella has a column, an upper nest, a movable lower nest, a plurality of long rods, a plurality of short rods. The upper nest has a plurality of first slots spaced apart on a periphery of the upper nest, a plurality of first pins is disposed on the upper nest respectively; each long rod has a first rod-hanging hook on the top end thereof, each first rod-hanging hook hooks on the corresponding first pin; the lower nest has a plurality of second slots spaced apart on a periphery of the lower nest, a plurality of second pins are disposed on the lower nest respectively; each short rod has a second rod-hanging hook on the bottom end thereof, each second rod-hanging hook hooks on the corresponding second pin. The structure of the present invention is simple and reasonable, the machining is convenient and the cost is low.
Claims
1. An umbrella, comprising: a column having a top end; an upper nest disposed on the top end of the column; a movable lower nest disposed encircling the column; a plurality of long rods having a top end and a middle portion; a plurality of short rods having a top end and a bottom end; wherein, the upper nest has a plurality of first slots spaced apart on a periphery of the upper nest for receiving the long rods, a plurality of first pins is disposed on the upper nest respectively running through each first slot; the upper nest has a central hole extending downward for receiving the top end of the column and a circular connecting segment located at a center and a top of the upper nest with a vertical tapered through hole which has an upper portion for receiving a cap and a lower portion; an annular groove extending downward is defined between the periphery of the lower portion of the circular connecting segment and an inner wall of the central hole for positioning the column; the upper nest has an elastic buckle protruding from the inner wall of the central hole, and the column has a corresponding clamping groove at the periphery of the top end of the column for clamping the elastic buckle, the top end of the column is connected to the upper nest when the elastic buckle clamps with the clamping groove; the lower nest has a plurality of second slots spaced apart on a periphery of the lower nest for receiving the short rods, a plurality of second pins is disposed on the lower nest respectively running each second slot.

The umbrella of claim 1, wherein each long rod has a first rod-hanging hook on the top end thereof, each first rod-hanging hook hooks on the corresponding first pin so as to rotatably connect each long rod to the upper nest; each short rod has a second rod-hanging hook on the bottom end thereof, each second rod-hanging hook hooks on the corresponding second pin so as to rotatably connect each short rod to the lower nest, the top end of each short rod is hinged to the middle portion of the corresponding long rod.

The umbrella of claim 1, wherein the middle portion of the long rod is sleeved with a connecting head having a lower end, the connecting head has a connecting lug protruding from the lower end of the connecting head, a connecting sleeve head fitting with the connecting head is sleeved on the top end of the short rod; a U-shaped connecting portion connected to the connecting lug is arranged at an end of the connecting sleeve head, short shafts protrude from two sides of the connecting lug, the U-shaped connecting portion has corresponding shaft holes at two sides of the U-shaped connecting portion, and the short rod is hinged to the middle portion of the long rod by connecting the short shafts to the shaft holes.

The umbrella of claim 1, wherein a stop collar for locking the lower nest when opening the umbrella is arranged at an upper portion of the column, a button fitting with the stop collar is mounted in the lower nest, the lower nest has an upper segment, a middle segment and a lower segment, a diameter of the upper segment is consistent with a diameter of the middle segment, each second slot for mounting each short rod is arranged on the upper segment, the lower segment is a tapered cylindrical structure fitting with the column, the button is ring-shaped and is mounted in the middle segment of the lower nest, a lower end of the button abuts against a flange of the lower nest, and an upper end of the button is limited by a clamping ring, the button has a hand-pressing portion protruding from the button, and the button has a raised locking block located opposite the hand-pressing portion on an inner wall of the button, the lower nest has an opening for exposing the hand-pressing portion of the button, the button has a recess corresponding to the raised locking block, and a spring is supported between the recess and the inner wall of the lower nest, urging the button away from the raised locking block, and the clamping ring is an elastic clamping ring, the clamping ring has one or more circular clamping columns protruding at a periphery of the clamping ring, the lower nest has corresponding clamping column holes at the inner wall of the lower nest, and the clamping ring is fixed in the lower nest by fitting between the circular clamping column and the clamping column hole.

The umbrella of claim 4, wherein a spring button protrudes from an external surface of the stop collar, a clamping hole receiving the spring button is arranged on the column, the stop collar is positioned by fitting the spring button to the clamping hole, the stop collar has a limiting step fitting with the spring button, a bump protrudes from an internal surface of the stop collar, the bump has a positioning hole at an end of the bump, a corresponding pressing point protrudes from the inner wall of the column, and the stop collar abuts against the positioning hole of the bump via the pressing point, and a clamping groove fitting with the locking block is recessed at the surface of the stop collar, and when the lower nest moves upward, the locking block of the button is clamped into the clamping groove of the stop collar and locked with the stop collar so as to open the umbrella.

The umbrella of claim 1, wherein the column comprises an upper column and a lower column, the upper column is capable of being separated from the lower column, the upper column and the lower column are connected together by a threaded connecting member, the threaded connecting member has a circular positioning hole at a periphery of the threaded connecting member, the lower column has a corresponding protruding point at an outer wall of the lower column, and the threaded connecting member is inserted into the lower column and is fixed by slotting the circular positioning hole onto the protruding point.
7. The umbrella of claim 1, wherein a circular connecting column matched with the circular connecting segment of the upper nest protrudes from a lower end of the cap, a buckle is arranged at a lower end of the circular connecting column, the cap is inserted into the circular connecting segment of the upper nest at the circular connecting column, and clamps with the lower end of the circular connecting segment by the buckle.

In Embodiment 2, the upper nest 2 has an internal thread on a circular connecting segment 20, the cap 10 has a corresponding external thread on a circular connecting column, and the cap 10 is inserted into the circular connecting segment 20 of the lower nest 3 through the circular connecting column, and is fixed to the upper nest 2 by means of a threaded connection.
