    Abstract

The Pool Case Stand utility invention abstract offers technical disclosures for this invention to include what is new and how this invention benefits the Pool Player. Technical disclosures for the Pool Case Stand include the following points that describe what is new for this Invention. The Pool Case Stand offers the following technical advantages for the Pool Player that are not available on standard Pool Cases. 1. Ergonomic alleviation of the stress current Pool Cases place on players'bodies using the carrying straps. 2. Stable, upright placement of the Pool Players Case close to their playing area. 3 Ease of transport, due to the built-in wheels. These advantages will allow the Pool Player to avoid injuries, increase their focus and offer easy transport.

    Claims

    1. A portable hard pool case stand comprising: a. A rectangular frame having a plurality of holes and an outside and inside flat surface to support weight for a hard pool case mounted thereon. b. A raised lip on the top of the stand that centers the hard pool case on the stand so that the weight of the pool case is centered and balanced. This is important to prevent the stand from falling over. c. Four mounting holes on the bottom Pool Case Stand that extend through the stand and is used to secure the hard pool case to the stand.

    2. This is important to prevent the stand from falling over. c. Four mounting holes in the bottom of the stand, not protruding all the way through, used to secure 4 rubber footpads that allow the hard pool case mounted to the stand to not fall over.

    3. This is important to prevent the stand from falling over. c. Two rubber caster bearing wheels that are 1 inch wide and 3 inches in diameter. They are positioned at the back of the stand and separated close to the outside edges for stability when the case is being moved around.

[0012] Note this Pool Case Stand will vary depending on pool case manufacturer and model.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0013] The Pool Case Stand is for a utility patent to protect the invention of the Pool Case Stand, which can be designed to attach to the base of a variety of manufactured hard pool cases.

[0014] Referring now in detail to the drawings and describing the preferred embodiment as the best mode for carrying out the invention. FIG. 1 thru 6 depicts different views of the Pool Case Stand, showing its rectangular shape with rounded corners (2), the opening (1) for a hard pool case to be mounted, the placement of the mounting holes (7) and the location of the two caster wheels (4) in relation to the pool case stand platform. The opening (1) illustrates how the hard case is to be centered within the pool case stand for balance and stability. The Pool Case Stand has a raised lip to ensure the pool case stays centered and in place. The four mounting holes (7) are countersunk on the bottom of the stand (FIG. 6) so that the four 1 inch wood screws used to hold the case to the stand are flush with the bottom of the stand. The caster wheels (4) are positioned at the back of the stand so that when the case is tilted back, it will roll on the caster wheels when moving from one place to another. The 45 angle cut-out (5) on the back of the stand is for clearance so that the stand will not contact the ground when it is tilted back. The two caster wheels (4) are 1 inch wide, 3 inches in diameter and have bearings in them for smooth rolling. They are secured in place through the axle hole (3) with two 5/16-18 bolts and lock nuts.

[0015] The bottom of the Pool Case Stand (FIG. 6) shows the cut-outs (9) for the casters (4) illustrating the clearance needed so the casters turn freely. The four holes (6) are for the rubber footpads that mount on the stand so that it will sit securely standing up. The rectangular cut-outs (8) are there to reduce weight and provide strength to the pool case stand.

[0016] While the invention has been described in complete detail and pictorially shown in the accompanying drawings, it is not to be limited to such details, since many changes and modifications may be made to the invention without departing from the spirit and the scope thereof. Hence, it is described to cover any and all modifications and forms which may come within the language and scope of the appended claims.
