Abstract
A toenail polish drying footwear device is provided. The device is comprised of a piece of footwear comprised of a toe separator assembly integrally formed with or attached to the body of the device, at least one heel strap for foot stabilization, and a sole designed for traction and durability. The toe separator assembly comprises a plurality of flexible toe-separating members extending vertically from the top surface of the body and dimensioned to fit comfortably between a user's toes. In some embodiments, the toe separator assembly further comprises a skin-safe adhesive applied at the base of the separator or an angled toe wedge support that elevates the toes to prevent polish contact with external surfaces.
Claims
1. A toenail polish drying footwear device comprising: a footwear body comprised of a top surface; and a toe separator assembly disposed on the top surface of the body, the toe separator assembly comprising a plurality of toe-separating members extending vertically from the top surface.
2. The toenail polish drying footwear device of claim 1, wherein the top surface is comprised of a texture.
3. The toenail polish drying footwear device of claim 1, wherein the toe-separating members are comprised of a tapered shape.
4. The toenail polish drying footwear device of claim 1, wherein the toe-separating members are comprised of an hourglass shape.
5. The toenail polish drying footwear device of claim 1, wherein the toe-separating members are comprised of a cylindrical shape.
6. The toenail polish drying footwear device of claim 1, wherein the footwear body is comprised of a sole.
7. The toenail polish drying footwear device of claim 6, wherein the sole is comprised of a non-slip grip element.
8. A toenail polish drying footwear device comprising: a footwear body comprised of a top surface and a heel strap; a toe separator assembly disposed on the top surface of the body, the toe separator assembly comprising a plurality of toe-separating members extending vertically from the top surface; an adhesive; and an angled toe wedge support configured to elevate toes at an angle greater than 1 degree relative to the top surface.
9. The toenail polish drying footwear device of claim 8, wherein the adhesive is comprised of a skin-safe adhesive.
10. The toenail polish drying footwear device of claim 8, wherein the adhesive is comprised of a peel-off protective cover.
11. The toenail polish drying footwear device of claim 8, wherein the top surface is comprised of a texture.
12. The toenail polish drying footwear device of claim 8, wherein the toe-separating members are comprised of a tapered shape.
13. The toenail polish drying footwear device of claim 8, wherein the toe-separating members are comprised of an hourglass shape.
14. The toenail polish drying footwear device of claim 8, wherein the toe-separating members are comprised of a cylindrical shape.
15. The toenail polish drying footwear device of claim 8, wherein the footwear body is comprised of a sole.
16. The toenail polish drying footwear device of claim 15, wherein the sole is comprised of a non-slip grip element.
17. The toenail polish drying footwear device of claim 8, wherein the heel strap is comprised of an elastic band.
18. The toenail polish drying footwear device of claim 8, wherein the heel strap is comprised of an adjustable strap.
19. The toenail polish drying footwear device of claim 8, wherein the heel strap is comprised of a crisscross strap.
20. A method of using a toenail polish drying footwear device, the method comprising the following steps: providing a toenail polish drying footwear device comprised of a body, a toe separator assembly, a heel strap, and a sole; placing a foot onto a top surface of the body such that a toe is positioned between a first toe-separating member and a second toe-separating member of the toe separator assembly; positioning the toe atop an upper surface of an angled toe wedge support and securing the toe in place with the adhesive; placing the heel strap over a heel of the foot to provide support and stability; and engaging in mobility while the toe separator assembly maintains separation of the toe from a second toe and prevents smudging of a toenail polish on the toe.

Moreover, there exists a long-felt need in the art for a toenail polish drying footwear device that secures the foot effectively while promoting polish protection and enhancing user comfort.
[0023] The present invention, in one exemplary embodiment, is comprised of a toenail polish drying footwear device. The device provides flip-flop style footwear configured to prevent smearing of toenail polish shortly after application while enabling user mobility for activities such as household chores and pet walking. The device comprises a body, a toe separator assembly, at least one heel strap, and a sole. The body is formed from cushioning polymers selected for flexibility, durability, shock absorption, and user comfort, and features a top surface that interfaces with the underside of the user's foot.
