[0026]
[0027] By referring to
[0028] In this case, the baseball filed board 100 may have a visual appearance of a baseball field where a plurality of bases (i.e., a 1-st base 110, a 2-nd base 120, a 3-rd base 130, and a home plate 140) are provided. Meanwhile, each of the 1-st base 110, the 2-nd base 120, the 3-rd base 130, and the home plate 140 may be configured in the same color. However, in some cases, each of the 1-st base 110, the 2-nd base 120, the 3-rd base 130, and the home plate 140 may be configured in different colors. Further, although
[0029] Next, the baseball board game may include a plurality of pieces for baserunners 200 configured to be positioned on at least some of the bases provided on the baseball field board 100.
[0030] In this case, one of the baserunners 200 may be positioned on at least one of the 1-st base 110, the 2-nd base 120, and the 3-rd base 130, according to a result corresponding to at least one event among a plurality of events related to the hitter to be described later, or according to effects related to a plurality of offensive cards which will also be described later. Herein, the offensive cards may have a plurality of 1-st type offensive cards that are provided to the offensive-side player prior to a start of the baseball board game and a plurality of 2-nd type offensive cards that are provided to the offensive-side player during a play of the baseball board game.
[0031] Next, the baseball board game may include the defensive dice 300 to be provided to a defensive-side player. In this case, each of faces of the defensive dice 300 represents each piece of information on a plurality of 1-st events and a plurality of 2-nd events. Herein, the 1-st events represent events of a pitcher continuing pitching to a hitter and the 2-nd events represent events of the pitcher finishing pitching to the hitter.
[0032] In this case, the plurality of the 1-st events may have: a 1-st strike against the hitter, a 2-nd strike against the hitter, a 1-st ball against the hitter, a 2-nd ball against the hitter, a 3-rd ball against the hitter, a 1-st type of foul ball against the hitter, and a 2-nd type of foul ball against the hitter. Herein, the 1-st type of foul ball refers to a foul ball determined before the 2-nd strike against the hitter and the 2-nd type of foul ball refers to a foul ball determined after the 2-nd strike against the hitter. Herein, each of the 1-st type of foul ball and the 2-nd type of foul ball may be singular or plural. That is, even if at least one of the 1-st events is determined, other events (i.e., events related to an advancement of the hitter or an out state of the hitter) are not determined, and thus the pitcher may continue pitching to the hitter.
[0033] On the other hand, the plurality of the 2-nd events may have a 3-rd strike against the hitter and a batting result that allows the hitter to advance. That is, in case at least one of the 2-nd events is determined, the advancement of the hitter or the out state of the hitter may also be determined, and thus the pitcher may finish pitching to the hitter.
[0034] Meanwhile, any one of the 1-st events and the 2-nd events may be determined by the defensive dice 300 after being thrown by the defensive-side player. Prior to describing a method by which the 1-st events and the 2-nd events are determined, structural features of the defensive dice 300 in accordance with one example embodiment of the present disclosure will be described below.
[0035] First, as illustrated in
[0036]
[0037] By referring to
[0038] Meanwhile,
[0039] By referring back to
[0040] In this case, the plurality of the 3-rd events may have: (i) a 1-st case of determining an out state of the hitter and an advancement of at least one baserunner 200 positioned on at least some of the bases, (ii) a 2-nd case of determining an out state of the hitter without at least one baserunner 200 positioned on at least some of the bases being advanced; and (iii) a 3-rd case of determining an advancement of the hitter and an out state of at least one baserunner 200 positioned on at least some of the bases. That is, the 3-rd events may have cases of determining an out state of the hitter after the batting of the hitter or an out state of the baserunner 200 positioned on at least some of the bases after the batting of the hitter.
[0041] On the other hand, the plurality of the 4-th events may have: (i) a 4-th case, such as a hit, of determining advancements of the hitter and at least one baserunners 200 positioned on at least some of the bases after the batting of the hitter and (ii) a 5-th case, such as a home run, of allowing the hitter and at least one baserunner 200 positioned on at least some of the bases to reach the home plate 140 after the batting of the hitter. That is, the 4-th events may include cases of determining (i) one base advancements of the hitter and at least one baserunner 200 positioned on at least some of the bases, (ii) two bases advancements of the hitter and at least one baserunner 200 positioned on at least some of the bases, (iii) three bases advancements of the hitter and at least one baserunner 200 positioned on at least some of the bases, and (iv) reaching the home plate of the hitter and at least one baserunner 200 positioned on at least some of the bases. Herein, even in case no baserunner 200 is present on any bases, the 4-th case and the 5-th case may be determined based on whether the hitter advances to any one of the bases (e.g., a single, a double, or a triple) or reaches the home plate 140 (e.g., home run) after the batting of the hitter.
[0042] Meanwhile, any one of the 3-rd events and the 4-th events may be determined by the 1-st offensive dice 400 after being thrown by the offensive-side player. Prior to describing a method by which the 3-rd events and the 4-th events are determined, structural features of the 1-st offensive dice 400 in accordance with one example embodiment of the present disclosure will be described below.
[0043] As illustrated in
[0044] By referring to
[0045] Further, the 1-st offensive dice 400 in accordance with the present disclosure may be configured such that a 1-st probability of determining the 3-rd events represented on the 1-st offensive dice 400 is smaller than a 2-nd probability of determining the 4-th events represented on the 1-st offensive dice 400, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. Such a configuration of the 1-st offensive dice 400 has an advantage in that, since the 1-st offensive dice 400 is thrown by the offensive-side player, it can further enhance the enjoyment of the baseball board game by providing more scoring opportunities to the offensive-side player.
[0046] Meanwhile,
[0047] By referring back to
[0048] That is, on condition that no baserunner 200 is positioned on the 3-rd base 130, the 5-th events may determine advancements of at least some of the hitter, the baserunner 200 on the 1-st base 110, and the baserunner 200 on the 2-nd base 120, without any of them reaching the home plate 140. On the other hand, the 6-th events may determine that at least one baserunner 200 positioned on at least some of the bases reaches the home plate 140.
[0049] Meanwhile, any one of the 5-th events and the 6-th events may be determined by the 2-nd offensive dice 500 after being thrown by the offensive-side player. Prior to describing a method by which the 5-th events and the 6-th events are determined, structural features of the 2-nd offensive dice 500 in accordance with one example embodiment of the present disclosure will be described below.
[0050] As illustrated in
[0051] By referring to
[0052] Meanwhile,
[0053] Next, the baseball board game in accordance with the present disclosure may further include: (i) a plurality of 1-st type offensive cards that are provided to the offensive-side player prior to a start of the baseball board game, (ii) a plurality of 2-nd type offensive cards that are provided to the offensive-side player during a play of the baseball board game, (iii) a plurality of 1-st type defensive cards that are provided to the defensive-side player prior to the start of the baseball board game, and (iv) a plurality of 2-nd type defensive cards that are provided to the defensive-side player during the play of the baseball board game. Herein, each one side of the 1-st type offensive cards and the 2-nd type offensive cards has a pre-determined 1-st specific usage condition indicated thereon, and each one side of the 1-st type defensive cards and the 2-nd type defensive cards has a pre-determined 2-nd specific usage condition indicated thereon.
[0054] Herein, a more detailed description of the 1-st type offensive cards and the 2-nd type offensive cards will be provided below with reference to
[0055]
[0056] By referring to
[0057] First, a description of the 1-st conditional offensive card is provided. The 1-st conditional offensive card may have an offensive card, such as a pickoff throw error card, capable of being used after at least part of the 1-st type defensive cards and the 2-nd type defensive cards is used. A detailed description of the 1-st conditional offensive card will be provided later.
[0058] Next, a description of the 2-nd conditional offensive card is provided. The 2-nd conditional offensive card may have an offensive card that is capable of being used even if none of the 1-st type defensive cards and the 2-nd type defensive cards have been used by the defensive-side player. Examples of the 2-nd conditional offensive cards are as follows: (i) at least one (2_1)-st conditional offensive card capable of being used before any one of the 1-st events and the 2-nd events is determined, (ii) at least one (2_2)-nd conditional offensive card capable of being used after any one of the 1-st events is determined, (iii) at least one (2_3)-rd conditional offensive card capable of being used after any one of the 1-st events is determined, (iv) at least one (2_4)-th conditional offensive card capable of being used before any one of the 3-rd events and the 4-th events is determined, and (v) at least one (2_5)-th conditional offensive card, on condition that any one of the 2-nd events except the walk and the strikeout is determined, capable of being used after any one of the 3-rd events is determined. In this case, (i) the (2_1)-st conditional offensive card has an effect of determining an advancement of at least one baserunner 200 which are positioned on at least some of the bases, (ii) the (2_2)-nd conditional offensive card has an effect of allowing the hitter to get on base, (iii) the (2_3)-rd conditional offensive card has an effect of determining an advancement of at least one of the baserunners 200 which are positioned on at least some of the bases or a stolen base of at least one of the baserunners 200 which are positioned on at least some of the bases, (iv) the (2_4)-th conditional offensive card has an effect of determining an advancement of at least one of the baserunners 200 which are positioned on at least some of the bases or an effect of allowing at least one of the baserunners 200 which are positioned on at least some of the bases to reach the home plate 140, and (v) the (2_5)-th conditional offensive card has an effect of negating an event that determines an out state of the hitter or an out state of at least one of the baserunners 200 which are positioned on at least some of the bases. Herein, (i) a pitcher balk card, which is capable of being used before the defensive dice 300 is thrown by the defensive-side player and has an effect of determining the advancement of at least one baserunner 200, can be used as an example of the (2_1)-st conditional offensive card, (ii) a hit by pitch card, which is capable of being used after any one of the events including a strike, a foul ball, and a ball is determined and has an effect of allowing the hitter to get on base, can be used as an example of the (2_2)-nd conditional offensive card, (iii) a stealing 2-nd base card, which is capable of being used after any one of the events including the strike, the foul ball, and the ball is determined and has an effect of allowing the baserunner 200 on the 1-st base 110 to steal the 2-nd base 120, can be used as an example of the (2_3)-rd conditional offensive card, (iv) a sacrifice bunt card, which is capable of being used after a batting event is determined and before the 1-st offensive dice 400 is thrown, and which has an effect of allowing all baserunners 200 to advance one base and determining an out state of the hitter, can be used as an example of the (2_4)-th conditional offensive card, and (v) a fielder's choice card, which is capable of being used after an out state of the hitter or an out state of at least one baserunner 200 is determined, and which has an effect of negating an event that determines out states of the hitter and at least one baserunner 200, can be used as an example of the (2_5)-th conditional offensive card.
[0059] Meanwhile, although the pitcher balk card has been used as an example of the (2_1)-st conditional offensive card, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and in some cases, other cards having the same or similar usage conditions and having the same or similar usage effects may also be included in the (2_1)-st conditional offensive cards.
[0060] Further, although the hit by pitch card has been used as an example of the (2_2)-nd conditional offensive card, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and in some cases, other cards (e.g., a wild pitch card) having the same or similar usage conditions and having the same or similar usage effects (e.g., allowing the hitter to get on base) may also be included in the (2_2)-nd conditional offensive cards.
[0061] Further, although the stealing 2-nd base card has been used as an example of the (2_3)-rd conditional offensive card, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and in some cases, other cards (e.g., (i) a passed ball card having an effect of allowing the baserunner 200 on the 1-st base 110 to advance one base, (ii) a stealing 3-rd base card having an effect of allowing the baserunner 200 on the 2-nd base 120 to steal the 3-rd base 130, (iii) a 1-st type of double steal card having an effect of allowing the baserunners 200 on the 1-st base 110 and the 2-nd base 120 to steal the 2-nd base 120 and the 3-rd base 130 respectively at the same time, (iv) a 2-nd type of double steal card having an effect of allowing the baserunners 200 on the 1-st base 110 and the 3-rd base 130 to steal the 2-nd base 120 and the home plate 140 respectively at the same time, (v) a 3-rd type of double steal card having an effect of allowing the baserunners 200 on the 2-nd base 120 and the 3-rd base 130 to steal the 3-rd base 130 and the home plate 140 respectively at the same time, (vi) a straight steal of home plate card having an effect of allowing the baserunner 200 on the 3-rd base 130 to steal the home plate 140 may also be included in the (2_3)-rd conditional offensive cards. Importantly, each of the (2_3)-rd conditional offensive cards has the same or similar usage condition and has an effect of allowing at least one baserunner 200 positioned on at least some of the bases to advance. More specifically, one side of each of the (2_3)-rd conditional offensive cards is indicated differently with respect to (i) the number of baserunners 200 to advance, (ii) the positions of the baserunners 200, and (iii) the number of bases to be advanced by the baserunners 200.
[0062] Further, although the sacrifice bunt card has been used as an example of the (2_4)-th conditional offensive card, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and in some cases, other cards (e.g., another type of a sacrifice bunt card and a surprise bunt card, each having an effect of allowing the baserunner 200 on 3-rd base 130 to advance one base and an effect of determining the out state of the hitter) having the same or similar usage conditions may also be included in the (2_4)-th conditional offensive cards. Importantly, each of the (2_4)-th conditional offensive cards has the same or similar usage condition and has an effect of allowing at least one baserunner 200 to advance and determining the out state of the hitter. More specifically, one side of each of the (2_4)-th conditional offensive cards is indicated differently with respect to (i) the number of baserunners 200 to advance, (ii) the positions of the baserunners 200, and (iii) the number of bases to be advanced by the baserunners 200.
[0063] Further, although the fielder's choice card has been used as an example of the (2_5)-th conditional offensive card, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and in some cases, other cards (e.g., a fielding error card) having the same or similar usage conditions and having the same or similar usage effects (e.g., allowing the hitter and the all baserunners 200 to be safe) may also be included in the (2_5)-th conditional offensive cards.
[0064] Meanwhile, on condition that at least some of the 2-nd type offensive cards have been provided to the offensive-side player, the offensive-side player may additionally obtain at least some of the remaining 2-nd type offensive cards (that have not been provided yet) before the defensive dice 300 is thrown by the defensive-side player. For example, in case a pinch hitter rule, which is one of several baseball game rules favorable to the offensive-side player, is selected before the defensive dice 300 is thrown by the defensive-side player, the offensive-side player may additionally obtain at least some of the remaining 2-nd type offensive cards that have not been provided yet. Meanwhile, the number of times the rule as above can be selected may be predetermined before the baseball board game begins, and the quantity of at least some of the remaining 2-nd type offensive cards to be provided to the offensive-side player for each selection may also be predetermined. Accordingly, the total number of the remaining 2-nd type offensive cards, which have not been provided yet and are to be provided to the offensive-side player during the progress of the baseball board game, may also be predetermined.
[0065] Next, a more detailed description of the 1-st type defensive cards and the 2-nd type defensive cards will be provided with reference to
[0066]
[0067] By referring to
[0068] First, a description of the 1-st conditional defensive card is provided. The 1-st conditional defensive card may have a defensive card, such as a preventing stealing 2-nd base card, capable of being used after at least part of the 1-st type offensive cards and the 2-nd type offensive cards is used. A detailed description of the 1-st conditional defensive card will be provided later.
[0069] Next, a description of the 2-nd conditional defensive card is provided. The 2-nd conditional defensive card may have a defensive card that is capable of being used even if none of the 1-st type offensive cards and the 2-nd type offensive cards have been used by the offensive-side player. Examples of the 2-nd conditional defensive cards are as follows: (i) at least one (2_1)-st conditional defensive card capable of being used before any one of the 1-st events and the 2-nd events is determined, (ii) at least one (2_2)-nd conditional defensive card capable of being used after any one of the 3-rd events is determined, (iii) at least one (2_3)-rd conditional defensive card capable of being used after any one of the 3-rd events is determined, (iv) at least one (2_4)-th conditional defensive card capable of being used after any one of the 3-rd events is determined on condition that an out state of the hitter is determined, and (v) at least one (2_5)-th conditional defensive card capable of being used after any one of the 6-th events is determined. In this case, (i) the (2_1)-st conditional defensive card has an effect of determining an out state of at least one of the baserunners 200 which are positioned on at least some of the bases, (ii) the (2_2)-nd conditional defensive card has an effect of determining an out state of at least one of the baserunners 200 which are positioned on at least some of the bases or an out state of the hitter, (iii) the (2_3)-rd conditional defensive card has an effect of determining out states of the two or more baserunners 200 which are positioned on at least some of the bases, (iv) the (2_4)-th conditional defensive card has an effect of negating an event that determines an advancement of at least one of the baserunners 200 which are positioned on at least some of the bases, and (v) the (2_5)-th conditional defensive card has an effect of negating an event that allows a specific baserunner to reach the home plate 140. Herein, the specific baserunner is positioned ahead of other baserunners. Herein, (i) a pickoff to 1-st base to catch a baserunner card, which is capable of being used before the defensive dice 300 is thrown by the defensive-side player on condition that the baserunner 200 is positioned on the 1-st base 110, and which has an effect of determining an out state of the baserunner 200 on the 1-st base 110, can be used as an example of the (2_1)-st conditional defensive card, (ii) a 1-st type of double play card, which is capable of being used after the batting event is determined and has an effect of determining an out state of a lead baserunner 200 positioned ahead of other baserunners and determining an out state of the hitter, can be used as an example of the (2_2)-nd conditional defensive card, (iii) a 2-nd type of double play card, which is capable of being used after the batting event is determined and has an effect of determining the out state of the lead baserunner 200 and determining an out state of a next-lead baserunner 200 positioned next to the lead baserunner 200, can be used as an example of the (2_3)-rd conditional defensive card, (iv) a holding the baserunner on 1-st base card, which is capable of being used after the batting event is determined and has an effect of preventing the baserunner 200 on the 1-st base 110 from advancing, can be used as an example of the (2_4)-th conditional defensive card, and (v) a thrown out at home card, which is capable of being used after at least some of the baserunners 200 reach the home plate 140 and has an effect of negating an event of allowing the lead baserunner 200 to reach the home plate 140, can be used as an example of the (2_5)-th conditional defensive card.
[0070] Meanwhile, although the pickoff to 1-st base to catch a baserunner card has been used as an example of the (2_1)-st conditional defensive card, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and in some cases, other cards (e.g., a pickoff to 2-nd base to catch a baserunner card) having the different usage conditions and having the different usage effects according to the positions of the baserunners 200 may also be included in the (2_1)-st conditional defensive cards.
[0071] Further, although the 1-st type of the double play card has been used as an example of the (2_2)-nd conditional defensive card, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and in some cases, other cards (e.g., another type of a double play card having an effect of determining out states of the lead baserunner 200 and the hitter and a triple play card having an effect of determining out states of the lead baserunner 200, next-lead baserunner 200, and the hitter) having the same or similar usage conditions may also be included in the (2_2)-nd conditional defensive cards. Importantly, each of the (2_2)-nd conditional defensive cards has the same or similar usage condition and has an effect of unconditionally determining the out state of the hitter. More specifically, one side of each of the (2_2)-nd conditional defensive cards is indicated differently with respect to the number of baserunners 200 the out states are determined and the positions of the baserunners 200 the out states are determined.
[0072] Further, although the 2-nd type of the double play card has been used as an example of the (2_3)-rd conditional defensive card, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and in some cases, other cards (e.g., another type of a double play card having an effect of determining out states of the baserunner 200 on the 1-st base 110 and the baserunner 200 on the 2-nd base 120 on condition that all the bases are loaded and a triple play card having an effect of determining out states of all the baserunners 200 on condition that all the bases are loaded) having the same or similar usage conditions may also be included in the (2_3)-rd conditional defensive cards. Importantly, each of the (2_3)-rd conditional defensive cards has the same or similar usage condition and has an effect of not determining the out state of the hitter. More specifically, one side of each of the (2_3)-rd conditional defensive cards is indicated differently with respect to the number of baserunners 200 the out states are determined and the positions of the baserunners 200 the out states are determined.
[0073] Further, although the holding the baserunner on 1-st base card has been used as an example of the (2_4)-th conditional defensive card, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and in some cases, other cards (e.g., a holding the baserunner on 2-nd base card having an effect of preventing the baserunner 200 on the 2-nd base 120 from advancing and a holding the baserunner on 3-rd base card having an effect of preventing the baserunner 200 on the 3-rd base 130 from advancing) having the same or similar usage conditions may also be included in the (2_4)-th conditional defensive cards. Importantly, each of the (2_4)-th conditional defensive cards has the same or similar usage condition. More specifically, one side of each of the (2_4)-th conditional defensive cards is indicated differently with respect to the position of the baserunner 200 whose advancement is to be prevented.
[0074] Further, although the thrown out at home card has been used as an example of the (2_5)-th conditional defensive card, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and in some cases, other cards (e.g., another type of a thrown out at home card having (i) an effect of allowing the lead baserunner 200 to reach the home plate 140 while negating an event of allowing the next-lead baserunner 200 to reach the home plate 140 and (ii) an effect of allowing the baserunners 200 on the 2-nd base 120 and the 3-rd base 130 to reach the home plate 140 while negating an event of allowing the baserunner 200 on the 1-st base 110 to reach the home plate 140) having the same or similar usage conditions may also be included in the (2_5)-th conditional defensive cards. Importantly, each of the (2_5)-th conditional defensive cards has the same or similar usage condition. More specifically, one side of each of the (2_5)-th conditional defensive cards is indicated differently with respect to the position of the baserunner 200 whose reaching the home plate 140 is negated.
[0075] Meanwhile, on condition that at least some of the 2-nd type defensive cards have been provided to the defensive-side player, the defensive-side player may additionally obtain at least some of the remaining 2-nd type defensive cards (that have not been provided yet) before the defensive dice 300 is thrown by the defensive-side player. For example, in case a defensive substitution rule, which is one of several baseball game rules favorable to the defensive-side player, is selected before the defensive dice 300 is thrown by the defensive-side player, the defensive-side player may additionally obtain at least some of the remaining 2-nd type defensive cards that have not been provided yet. Meanwhile, the number of times the rule as above can be selected may be predetermined before the baseball board game begins, and the quantity of at least some of the remaining 2-nd type defensive cards (to be provided to the defensive-side player for each selection) may also be predetermined. Accordingly, the total number of the remaining 2-nd type defensive cards, which have not been provided yet and are to be provided to the defensive-side player during the progress of the baseball board game, may also be predetermined.
[0076] Next, detailed descriptions of a plurality of the 1-st conditional offensive cards and a plurality of the 1-st conditional defensive cards will be provided below.
[0077] First, to describe the plurality of 1-st conditional offensive cards, referring back to
[0078] Next, to describe the plurality of 1-st conditional defensive cards, referring back to
[0079] Next, at least some of the 1-st type offensive cards and the 2-nd type offensive cards may have: a 1-st cardinal number of 1-st time-frame offensive cards, a 2-nd cardinal number of 2-nd time-frame offensive cards, and a 3-rd cardinal number of 3-rd time-frame offensive cards.
[0080] First, a description of the 1-st time-frame offensive cards is provided. A 1-st cardinal number of the 1-st time-frame offensive cards may be used by the offensive-side player during a 1-st time frame of from a (1_1)-st time point at which the baseball board game starts to a (1_2)-nd time point before any one of the 1-st events and the 2-nd events is determined. Herein, the 1-st time-frame offensive cards have at least some of the (2_1)-st conditional offensive card, the (2_2)-nd conditional offensive card, the (2_3)-rd conditional offensive card, the (2_4)-th conditional offensive card, and the (2_5)-th conditional offensive card.
[0081] Further, a description of the 2-nd time-frame offensive cards is provided. A 2-nd cardinal number of the 2-nd time-frame offensive cards may be used by the offensive-side player during a 2-nd time frame of from a (2_1)-st time point at which any one of the 1-st events is determined to a (2_2)-nd time point before any one of the 2-nd events is determined. Herein, the 2-nd time-frame offensive cards have at least some of the (2_1)-st conditional offensive card, the (2_2)-nd conditional offensive card, the (2_3)-rd conditional offensive card, the (2_4)-th conditional offensive card, and the (2_5)-th conditional offensive card. Herein, the 2-nd time frame is subsequent to the 1-st time frame.
[0082] Further, a description of the 3-rd time-frame offensive cards is provided. A 3-rd cardinal number of the 3-rd time-frame offensive cards may be used by the offensive-side player during a 3-rd time frame of from a (3_1)-st time point at which any one of the 2-nd events except the walk and the strikeout is determined to a (3_2)-nd time point before any one of the 3-rd events and the 4-th events is determined. Herein, the 3-rd time-frame offensive cards have at least some of the (2_1)-st conditional offensive card, the (2_2)-nd conditional offensive card, the (2_3)-rd conditional offensive card, the (2_4)-th conditional offensive card, and the (2_5)-th conditional offensive card. Herein, the 3-rd time frame is subsequent to the 1-st time frame or the 2-nd time frame.
[0083] As one example, referring back to
[0084] As another example, in case a 1-st type of hit by pitch card, which is one of the plurality of the 1-st type offensive cards and is capable of being used by the offensive-side player after any one of the 1-st events is determined, is provided to the offensive-side player before the baseball board game begins, the offensive-side player can use the 1-st type of hit by pitch card, which is one of the plurality of 2-nd time-frame offensive cards, during the 2-nd time frame of from the (2_1)-st time point at which any one of the 1-st events is determined to the (2_2)-nd time point before any one of the 2-nd events is determined. Further, in case a 2-nd type of hit by pitch card, which is one of the plurality of the 2-nd type offensive cards and is capable of being used by the offensive-side player after any one of the 1-st events is determined, is provided to the offensive-side player during the 1-st time frame, the offensive-side player can use the 2-nd type of the hit by pitch card, which is one of the plurality of 2-nd time-frame offensive cards, during said 2-nd time frame.
[0085] As still another example, in case a 1-st type of sacrifice bunt card, which is one of the plurality of the 1-st type offensive cards and is capable of being used by the offensive-side player before any one of the 2-nd events except the walk and the strikeout is determined, is provided to the offensive-side player before the baseball board game begins, the offensive-side player can use the 1-st type of the sacrifice bunt card, which is one of the plurality of 3-rd time-frame offensive cards, during the 3-rd frame of from the (3_1)-st time point at which any one of the 2-nd events except the walk and the strikeout is determined to the (3_2)-nd time point before any one of the 3-rd events and the 4-th events is determined. Further, in case a 2-nd type of the sacrifice bunt card, which is one of the plurality of the 2-nd type offensive cards and is capable of being used by the offensive-side player before any one of the 2-nd events except the walk and the strikeout is determined, is provided to the offensive-side player during the 1-st time frame and the 2-nd time frame, the offensive-side player can use the 2-nd type of the sacrifice bunt card, which is one of the plurality of 3-rd time-frame offensive cards, during said 3-rd frame.
[0086] Next, at least some of the 1-st type defensive cards and the 2-nd type defensive cards may have: a 4-th cardinal number of 4-th time-frame defensive cards, a 5-th cardinal number of 5-th time-frame defensive cards, and a 6-th cardinal number of 6-th time-frame defensive cards.
[0087] First, a description of the 4-th time-frame defensive cards is provided. A 4-th cardinal number of 4-th time-frame cards may be used by the defensive-side player during a 4-th time frame of from a (4_1)-st time point at which an advancement of the hitter is determined to a (4_2)-nd time point before any one of the 1-st events to a subsequent hitter and the 2-nd events to the subsequent hitter is determined. In this case, the subsequent hitter goes to bat after the hitter. Herein, the 4-th time-frame defensive cards have at least some of the (2_1)-st conditional defensive card, the (2_2)-nd conditional defensive card, the (2_3)-rd conditional defensive card, the (2_4)-th conditional defensive card, and the (2_5)-th conditional defensive card.
[0088] Further, a description of the 5-th time-frame defensive cards is provided. A 5-th cardinal number of the 5-th time-frame defensive cards may be used by the defensive-side player during a 5-th time frame of from a (5_1)-st time point at which any one of the 3-rd events is determined to a (5_2)-nd time point before an out state of the subsequent hitter or an out state of at least one of the baserunners 200 is determined. Herein, the 5-th time-frame defensive cards have at least some of the (2_1)-st conditional defensive card, the (2_2)-nd conditional defensive card, the (2_3)-rd conditional defensive card, the (2_4)-th conditional defensive card, and the (2_5)-th conditional defensive card. Herein, the 5-th time frame is subsequent to the 4-th time frame.
[0089] Further, a description of the 6-th time-frame defensive cards is provided. A 6-th cardinal number of the 6-th time-frame defensive cards may be used by the defensive-side player during a 6-th time frame of from a (6_1)-st time point at which any one of the 6-th events is determined to a (6_2)-nd time point before the subsequent hitter is allowed to reach the home plate 140 or at least one of the baserunners 200 is allowed to reach the home plate 140. Herein, the 6-th time-frame defensive cards have at least some of the (2_1)-st conditional defensive card, the (2_2)-nd conditional defensive card, the (2_3)-rd conditional defensive card, the (2_4)-th conditional defensive card, and the (2_5)-th conditional defensive card. Herein, the 6-th time frame is subsequent to the 5-th time frame.
[0090] As one example, referring back to
[0091] As another example, in case a 1-st type of pickoff to 1-st base to catch a baserunner card, which is one of the plurality of the 1-st type defensive cards and is capable of being used by the defensive-side player after any one of the 3-rd events is determined, is provided to the defensive-side player before the baseball board game begins, the defensive-side player can use the 1-st type of the double play card, which is one of the plurality of 5-th time-frame defensive cards, during the 5-th time frame of from the (5_1)-st time point at which any one of the 3-rd events is determined to the (5_2)-nd time point before an out state of the subsequent hitter or an out state of at least one of the baserunners 200 is determined. Further, in case a 2-nd type of double play card, which is one of the plurality of the 2-nd type defensive cards and is capable of being used by the defensive-side player after any one of the 3-rd events is determined, is provided to the defensive-side player during a time frame of from a time point that the baseball board game begins to a time point that any one of the 3-rd events to the subsequent hitter is determined, the defensive-side player can use the 2-nd type of the double play card, which is one of the plurality of 5-th time-frame defensive cards, during said 5-th time frame.
[0092] As still another example, in case a 1-st type of thrown out at home card, which is one of the plurality of the 1-st type defensive side cards and is capable of being used by the defensive-side player after any one of the 6-th events is determined, is provided to the defensive-side player before the baseball board game begins, the defensive-side player can use the 1-st type of the thrown out at home, which is one of the plurality of 6-th time-frame defensive cards, during the 6-th frame of from the (6_1)-st time point at which any one of the 6-th events is determined to the (6_2)-nd time point before the subsequent hitter is allowed to reach the home plate 140 or at least one of the baserunners 200 is allowed to reach the home plate 140. Further, in case a 2-nd type of thrown out at home card, which is one of the plurality of the 2-nd type defensive cards and is capable of being used by the defensive-side player after any one of the 6-th events is determined, is provided to the defensive-side player during a time frame of from the time point that the baseball board game begins to a time point that the advancement of the subsequent hitter is determined, the defensive-side player can use the 2-nd type of the thrown out at home, which is one of the plurality of 6-th time-frame defensive cards, during said 6-th frame.
[0093] Next, at least some of the 1-st type defensive cards and the 2-nd type defensive cards may further have at least one 1-st specific defensive card for allowing a 1-st specific face of the defensive dice 300 to be converted into a 1-st specific adjusted face of the defensive dice 300. Herein, the 1-st specific face of the defensive dice 300 is determined as a farthest face of the defensive dice 300 away from a ground when the defensive dice 300 is at rest on the ground after being thrown by the defensive-side player.
[0094] For example, on condition that the 1-st specific face of the defensive dice 300 represents the foul ball, when a cardinal number of strikes that the hitter has is two, the defensive-side player may use the 1-st specific defensive card to convert an event corresponding to the foul ball into another event corresponding to a foul tip.
[0095] Next, at least some of the 1-st type offensive cards and the 2-nd type defensive cards may further have (i) at least one 1-st specific offensive card for allowing a 2-nd specific face of the 1-st offensive dice to be converted into a 2-nd specific adjusted face of the 1-st offensive dice and (ii) at least one 2-nd specific offensive card for allowing a 3-rd specific face of the 2-nd offensive dice to be converted into a 3-rd specific adjusted face of the 2-nd offensive dice. Herein, the 2-nd specific face of the 1-st offensive dice is determined as the farthest face of the 1-st offensive dice away from the ground when the 1-st offensive dice is at rest on the ground after being thrown by the offensive-side player, and the 3-rd specific face of the 2-nd offensive dice is determined as the farthest face of the 2-nd offensive dice away from the ground when the 2-nd offensive dice is at rest on the ground after being thrown by the offensive-side player.
[0096] For example, on condition that the 2-nd specific face of the 1-st offensive dice 400 represents any one of the 3-rd events that determine an out state of the hitter or an out state of the baserunner 200, the offensive-side player may use the 1-st specific offensive card to prevent an event that the out state of the hitter or the out state of the baserunner 200 is determined. Herein, the offensive-side player may use the 2-nd specific offensive card to convert the 2-nd specific face representing any one of the 3-rd events into the 2-nd specific adjusted face representing the hit or the home run, thereby gaining an advantage in the progress of the baseball game.
[0097] In addition, on condition that 3-rd specific face of the 2-nd offensive dice 500 represents any one of the 5-th events corresponding to a case in which at least one baserunner 200 does not reach the home plate 140, the offensive-side player may use the 2-nd specific offensive card to cause at least one baserunner 200 to reach the home plate 140. For example, the offensive-side player may use the 3-rd specific offensive card to convert the 3-rd specific face representing any one of the 5-th events into the 3-rd specific adjusted face representing any one of the 6-th events, thereby gaining the advantage in the progress of the baseball game.
[0098] Next, the baseball field board 100 may include: a 1-st specific location corresponding to a 1-st predetermined space on the baseball field board 100, a 2-nd specific location corresponding to a 2-nd predetermined space on the baseball field board 100, and a 3-rd specific location corresponding to a 3-rd predetermined space on the baseball field board 100. Herein, (i) a cardinal number of strikes that the hitter has is increased at least once when the defensive dice 300 is at rest on the 1-st predetermined space after being thrown by the defensive-side player, (ii) a result of the 1-st offensive dice 400 is determined as one of the 4-th events when the 1-st offensive dice 400 is at rest on the 2-nd predetermined space after being thrown by the offensive-side player, and (iii) all of the baserunners 200 are allowed to reach the home plate 140 when the 2-nd offensive dice 500 is at rest on the 3-rd predetermined space after being thrown by the offensive-side player.
[0099] For example, when the defensive dice 300 is at rest on the 1-st predetermined space on the baseball field board 100 after being thrown by the defensive-side player, a cardinal number of strikes that the hitter has may be increased by one regardless of a result represented on the 1-st specific face of the defensive dice 300, thereby providing an advantage for the defensive-side player in the progress of the baseball game. Herein, the 1-st specific face of the defensive dice 300 is the farthest face of the defensive dice 300 away from the ground when the defensive dice 300 is at rest on the ground after being thrown by the defensive-side player.
[0100] On the other hand, when the 1-st offensive dice 400 is at rest on the 2-nd predetermined space on the baseball field board 100 after being thrown by the offensive-side player, any one of the 4-th events may be selected regardless of a result represented on the 2-nd specific face of the 1-st offensive dice 400, thereby allowing the offensive-side player to be given an opportunity to throw the 2-nd offensive dice 500, and thus providing an advantage for the offensive-side player in the progress of the baseball game. Herein, the 2-nd specific face of the 1-st offensive dice 400 is the farthest face of the 1-st offensive dice 400 away from the ground when the 1-st offensive dice 400 is at rest on the ground after being thrown by the offensive-side player.
[0101] Further, when the 2-nd offensive dice 500 is at rest on the 3-rd predetermined space on the baseball field board 100 after being thrown by the offensive-side player, all of the baserunners 200 are allowed to reach the home plate 140 regardless of a result represented on the 3-rd specific face of the 2-nd offensive dice 500 or at least some of the baserunners 200 is allowed to reach the home plate 140 regardless of said result, thereby providing an advantage for the offensive-side player in the progress of the baseball game. Herein, the 3-rd specific face of the 2-nd offensive dice 500 is the farthest face of the 2-nd offensive dice 500 away from the ground when the 2-nd offensive dice 500 is at rest on the ground after being thrown by the offensive-side player.
[0102] Next, the baseball board game in accordance with one example embodiment of the present disclosure may include a scoreboard (not shown) configured to record a score of a 1-st specific offensive-side player for each top half of innings during a play of the baseball board game and to record a score of a 2-nd specific offensive-side player for each bottom half of the innings during the play of the baseball board game.
[0103] In this case, the scoreboard may have a 1-st specific electronic chip and a 2-nd specific electronic chip. Herein, the 1-st specific electronic chip may increase a score of the 1-st specific offensive-side player for each top half of innings during a play of the baseball board game according to a cardinal number of times a 1-st specific external pressure is sensed when the 1-st specific external pressure is sensed from a 1-st specific sensing part among a whole surface of the scoreboard, and the 2-nd specific electronic chip may increase a score of the 2-nd specific offensive-side player for each bottom half of the innings during the play of the baseball board game according to a cardinal number of times a 2-nd specific external pressure is sensed when the 2-nd specific external pressure is sensed from a 2-nd specific sensing part among the whole surface of the scoreboard.
[0104] Meanwhile, the 1-st specific sensing part and the 2-nd specific sensing part may be spaced apart from each other on the same surface of the scoreboard, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and in some cases, they may be spaced apart from each other on different surfaces of the scoreboard.
[0105] Further, (i) in case the 1-st specific external pressure is sensed from the 1-st specific sensing part, the 1-st specific electronic chip increases the score of the 1-st specific offensive-side player according to a cardinal number of times the 1-st specific external pressure is sensed, and (ii) in case the 2-nd specific external pressure is sensed from the 2-nd specific sensing part, the 2-nd specific electronic chip increases the score of the 2-nd specific offensive-side player according to a cardinal number of times the 2-nd specific external pressure is sensed. Herein, a cardinal number of times the 1-st specific external pressure and a cardinal number of times the 2-nd specific external pressure may be the same, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and in some cases, they may be different from each other.
[0106] In addition, the scoreboard may further have: (i) a 1-st terminal matching part configured to maintain interlocking relationship between the scoreboard and a specific terminal, (ii) a 1-st specific data transmission part configured to allow the specific terminal to display a 1-st specific score data of the 1-st specific offensive-side player and a 2-nd specific score data of the 2-nd specific offensive-side player on a 1-st screen of the specific terminal by transmitting the 1-st specific score data and the 2-nd specific score data to the specific terminal, and (iii) a 1-st specific database configured to store the 1-st specific score data by recording the 1-st specific score data thereon and to store the 2-nd specific score data by recording the 2-nd specific score data thereon. Herein, the 1-st specific score data is acquired by the 1-st specific electronic chip and the 2-nd specific score data is acquired by the 2-nd specific electronic chip.
[0107] Through the above-described configuration, the 1-st specific offensive-side player and the 2-nd specific offensive-side player may check their respective scores in real time via the 1-st screen of the specific terminal. And, even after the baseball board game is ended, the 1-st specific offensive-side player and the 2-nd specific offensive-side player may check the 1-st specific score data and the 2-nd specific score data at any time by using the specific terminal.
[0108] Next, the baseball board game in accordance with one example embodiment of the present disclosure may have a counter board (not shown) configured to record (i) a cardinal number of balls that the hitter has, (ii) a cardinal number of strikes that the hitter has, and (iii) a cardinal number of outs that an offensive-side player has. Herein, the offensive-side player includes the 1-st specific offensive-side player who takes the offense in each top half of innings and the 2-nd specific offensive-side player who takes the offense in each bottom half of innings.
[0109] In this case, the count board may have a 3-rd specific electronic chip, a 4-th specific electronic chip, and a 5-th specific electronic chip. Herein, (i) the 3-rd specific electronic chip may increase a cardinal number of balls that the hitter has according to a cardinal number of times the 3-rd specific external pressure is sensed when the 3-rd specific external pressure is sensed from a 3-rd specific sensing part among a whole surface of the count board, (ii) the 4-th specific electronic chip may increase a cardinal number of strikes that the hitter has according to a cardinal number of times the 4-th specific external pressure is sensed when the 4-th specific external pressure is sensed from a 4-th specific sensing part among the whole surface of the count board, and (iii) the 5-th specific electronic chip may increase a cardinal number of outs that the offensive-side player has according to a cardinal number of times the 5-th specific external pressure is sensed when the 5-th specific external pressure is sensed from a 5-th specific sensing part among the whole surface of the count board.
[0110] Meanwhile, the 3-rd specific sensing part, the 4-th specific sensing part, and the 5-th specific sensing part may be spaced apart from each other on the same surface of the count board, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and in some cases, they may be spaced apart from each other on different surfaces of the count board.
[0111] Further, (i) in case the 3-rd specific external pressure is sensed from the 3-rd specific sensing part, the 3-rd specific electronic chip increases a cardinal number of balls that the hitter has according to a cardinal number of times the 3-rd specific external pressure is sensed, (ii) in case the 4-th specific external pressure is sensed from the 4-th specific sensing part, the 4-th specific electronic chip increases a cardinal number of strikes that the hitter has according to a cardinal number of times the 4-th specific external pressure is sensed, and (iii) in case the 5-th specific external pressure is sensed from the 5-th specific sensing part, the 5-th specific electronic chip increases a cardinal number of outs that the offensive-side player has according to a cardinal number of times the 5-th specific external pressure is sensed. Herein, a cardinal number of times the 3-th specific external pressure, a cardinal number of times the 4-th specific external pressure, and a cardinal number of times the 5-th specific external pressure may be the same, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and in some cases, they may be different from each other.
[0112] In addition, the count board may further have: (i) a 2-nd terminal matching part configured to maintain interlocking relationship between the scoreboard and the specific terminal, (ii) a 2-nd specific data transmission part configured to allow the specific terminal to display a cardinal number of balls that the hitter has, a cardinal number of strikes that the hitter has, and a cardinal number of outs that the offensive-side player has on a 2-nd screen of the specific terminal by transmitting a data of a cardinal number of balls that the hitter has, a data of a cardinal number of strikes that the hitter has, and a data of a cardinal number of outs that the offensive-side player has, to the specific terminal, and (iii) a 2-nd specific database configured to store (iii_1) the data of a cardinal number of balls that the hitter has by recording it in the 2-nd specific database, (iii_2) the data of a cardinal number of strikes that the hitter has by recording it in the 2-nd specific database, and (iii_3) the data of a cardinal number of outs that the offensive-side player has by recording it in the 2-nd specific database. Herein, (i) the data of a cardinal number of balls that the hitter has is acquired by the 3-rd specific electronic chip, (ii) the data of a cardinal number of strikes that the hitter has is acquired by the 4-th specific electronic chip, and (iii) the data of a cardinal number of outs that the offensive-side player has is acquired by the 5-th specific electronic chip.
[0113] Through the above-described configuration, the 1-st specific offensive-side player and the 2-nd specific offensive-side player may check (i) a cardinal number of balls that the hitter has, (ii) a cardinal number of strikes that the hitter has, and (iii) a cardinal number of outs that the offensive-side player has in real time via the 2-nd screen of the specific terminal. And, even after the baseball board game is ended, the 1-st specific offensive-side player and the 2-nd specific offensive-side player may check (i) a cardinal number of balls that the hitter has, (ii) a cardinal number of strikes that the hitter has, and (iii) a cardinal number of outs that the offensive-side player has at any time by using the specific terminal.
[0114] Meanwhile, according to another example embodiment of the present disclosure, the 1-st specific data transmission part may be configured to allow the specific terminal to further display: (i) a cardinal number of a pinch hitter having been selected before the defensive-side player throws the defensive dice 300, (ii) a cardinal number of a defensive substitution having been selected before the defensive-side player throws the defensive dice 300, and (iii) a cardinal number of a pinch runner having been selected to replace the hitter positioned on a specific base among the 1-st base 110, the 2-nd base 120, and the 3-rd base 130, when the advancement of the hitter to any one of the bases is determined. Further, at least some of a cardinal number of the pinch hitter, a cardinal number of the defensive substitution, and a cardinal number of the pinch runner may be recorded and stored in the 2-nd specific database. That is, through the above-described configuration, the 1-st specific offensive-side player and the 2-nd specific offensive-side player may check (i) a cardinal number of the pinch hitter having been selected, (ii) a cardinal number of the defensive substitution having been selected, and (iii) a cardinal number of the pinch runner having been selected in real time via the 2-nd screen of the specific terminal. And, even after the baseball board game is ended, the 1-st specific offensive-side player and the 2-nd specific offensive-side player may check (i) a cardinal number of the pinch hitter having been selected, (ii) a cardinal number of the defensive substitution having been selected, and (iii) a cardinal number of the pinch runner having been selected at any time by using the specific terminal.
[0115] Further, the 1-st specific database and/or the 2-nd specific database may further store a total playtime data of the baseball board game for the 1-st specific offensive-side player and the 2-nd specific offensive-side player by recording them in the 1-st specific database and/or the 2-nd specific database. In this case, the 1-st specific offensive-side player and the 2-nd specific offensive-side player may check the total playtime of the baseball board game at any time by using the specific terminal. Further, the total playtime data of the baseball board game stored in the 1-st specific database and/or the 2-nd specific database may also be utilized for CRM marketing related to the 1-st specific offensive-side player and/or the 2-nd specific offensive-side player.
