Abstract
A hair curler for styling hair having a container and a first fastener. The container includes an enclosure portion and a curl portion. The enclosure portion has a first end and a first opening. The curl portion is opposite to the enclosure portion and has a second end. The enclosure portion can be inverted over to encompass the curl portion such that the first end extends toward the second end of the curl portion. The first fastener secures the position of the enclosure portion relative to the curl portion and maintaining the position of the enclosure portion over the curl portion.
Claims
1. A hair curler for styling hair, comprising: a container that is substantially flat and rectangular, the container having: a first portion, the first portion has a first end and a first opening; a second portion opposite to the first portion and having a second end, wherein the first portion can be inverted over to encompass the second portion such that the first end extends toward the second end of the second portion; and a first fastener adjustably coupled with the first portion and for maintaining a position of the first portion over the second portion, the first fastener comprising: a drawstring movably disposed within at least a portion of the first end, and a cord lock movably disposed on at least a portion of the drawstring to facilitate a decrease in the size of the first opening in response to releasing the cord lock and pulling the drawstring, and maintain the size of the first opening in response to releasing the cord lock and the drawstring, such that a first portion of the cord lock has a cylindrical shape with a first diameter and a first height, and a second portion of the cord lock is disposed at a distance away from the first portion and has a cylindrical shape with a second diameter and a second height, such that the first diameter is less than the second diameter and the first height is greater than the second height.
2. The hair curler of claim 1, wherein the container is made of fabrics that are stretchable, the drawstring is disposed at a distance away from the first end.
3. The hair curler of claim 1, wherein the second portion has a second opening opposite the first opening.
4. The hair curler of claim 3, wherein the second opening is closed.
5. The hair curler of claim 1, wherein the first fastener is adjustably attached to the first end and surrounding the first opening.
6. The hair curler of claim 1, wherein a length of the container is greater than a width of the container.
7. The hair curler of claim 1 further comprising a second fastener for coupling the second portion of the container to the hair.
8. The hair curler of claim 1 further comprising: a third fastener disposed on the first portion; and a fourth fastener disposed on the second portion, wherein the third and fourth fasteners are coupled, when the first portion is inverted and over the second portion, to secure the first portion to the second portion and maintain a position of the first portion over the second portion.
9. A method of curling hair comprising: providing a hair curler including: a container having: a first portion, the first portion has a first end and a first opening; a second portion opposite to the second portion and having a second end, wherein the second portion and the first portion are made of the same material, the first portion can be inverted over the second portion such that the first end extends toward the second end of the second portion; and a first fastener attached to the first portion; wrapping the hair around the second portion of the container to form substantially helical shape; inverting the first portion over the second portion to encompass the hair and the second portion; securing a position of the first portion over the second portion using the first fastener; and leaving the hair encompassed in the first portion for a desired period of time.
10. The method of claim 9, wherein the step of providing the hair curler includes making the container using stretchable fabrics.
11. The method of claim 9 further comprising applying a hair product on the hair before wrapping the hair around the second portion of the container.
12. The method of claim 9, wherein the step of providing the hair curler includes creating a second opening at the second end of the second portion.
13. The method of claim 9 further comprising: coupling the container to the hair using a clip before wrapping the hair around the second portion of the container; the step of securing a position of the first portion to encompass over the second portion includes: holding the container in one hand and removing the clip from the container with another hand; releasably closing the first opening using the first fastener; and locking the first fastener in position to maintain a placement of the first portion to encompass over the hair around the second portion
14. The method of claim 13, wherein the step of securing the position of the first portion includes coupling the clip with the first portion to further secures the position of the first portion to encompass over the second portion.
15. The method of claim 9, wherein the step of providing the hair curler includes adjustably attaching the first fastener to the first end of the first portion and surrounding the first opening; the step of securing the position of the first portion over the second portion includes adjusting the first fastener to change a size of the first opening.
16. The method of claim 15, wherein the step oof securing the position of the first portion over the second portion includes coupling a clip with the first portion to further secures the position of the first portion to encompass over the second portion together with the first fastener.
17. The method of claim 9, further comprising: disposing a third fastener on the first portion; and disposing a fourth fastener on the second portion; wherein the step of securing the position of the first portion over the second portion includes coupling the third and fourth fasteners when the first portion is inverted and over the second portion.
18. A hair curler for styling hair, comprising: a container having: a first portion, the first portion has a first end and a first opening; a second portion opposite to the first portion and having a second end, wherein the first portion can be inverted over to encompass the second portion such that the first end extends toward the second end of the second portion; a first fastener adjustably coupled with the first portion and for maintaining a position of the first portion over the second portion, the first fastener comprising: a drawstring movably disposed within at least a portion of the first end, and a cord lock movably disposed on at least a portion of the drawstring to facilitate a decrease in the size of the first opening in response to releasing the cord lock and pulling the drawstring, and maintain the size of the first opening in response to releasing the cord lock and the drawstring, such that a first portion of the cord lock has a cylindrical shape with a first diameter and a first height, and a second portion of the cord lock is disposed at a distance away from the first portion and has a cylindrical shape with a second diameter and a second height, such that the first diameter is less than the second diameter and the first height is greater than the second height; and a clip for coupling the second portion of the container to the hair.
19. The hair curler of claim 18, wherein the clip removably couples the container to the hair.
20. The hair curler of claim 18, wherein the clip removably couples to the first portion of the container to encompass over the second portion.
21. A hair curler for styling hair, comprising: a container that is substantially flat and rectangular, the container having: a first portion, the first portion has a first portion and having a second end, wherein the first portion can be inverted over to encompass the second portion such that the first end extends toward the second end of the second portion; and a first fastener adjustably coupled with the first portion and for maintaining a position of the first portion over the second portion, the first fastener comprising: a drawstring movably disposed within at least a portion of the first end at a first distance away from the first end, and a cord lock movably disposed on at least a portion of the drawstring to facilitate a decrease in the size of the first opening in response to releasing the cord lock and pulling the drawstring, and maintain the size of the first opening in response to releasing the cord lock and the drawstring, such that a first portion of the cord lock has a cylindrical shape with a first diameter and a first height, and a second portion of the cord lock is disposed at a distance away from the first portion and has a cylindrical shape with a second diameter and a second height, such that the first diameter is less than the second diameter and the first height is greater than the second height.
22. The hair curler of claim 21, further comprising a plurality of second fasteners disposed on at least a portion of the second end to couple the second end to the first end.
23. The hair curler of claim 22, further comprising a plurality of third fasteners disposed on at least a portion of the first end to couple to the plurality of second fasteners.
24. The hair curler of claim 23, wherein each of the plurality of third fasteners are disposed on an inner surface of the first end.
25. The hair curler of claim 32, further comprising: a first ridged surface disposed at the first end; and a second ridged disposed at the first end at a second distance away from the first ridged surface.
26. The hair curler of claim 25, wherein the first fastener is disposed within the first end between the first ridged surface and the second ridged surface.
27. The hair curler of claim 25, wherein the first ridged surface is disposed on an outer surface at the first end and an inner surface opposite to the outer surface at the first end.
28. The hair curler of claim 25, wherein the second ridged surface is disposed on an outer surface oat the first end and an inner surface opposite to the outer surface at the first end.
29. The hair curler of claim 25, wherein the first fastener is disposed outside a boundary of the first ridged surface and the second ridged surface.
