Abstract

Disclosed is a pet care device. The pet care device may include a base, a pad disposed above the base, a pogo pin module including a first printed circuit board (PCB) and a pogo pin, and a connection terminal module mounted to the pad and including a second PCB and a connection terminal electrically connected to the pogo pin. The pogo pin module is movably disposed between the base and the pad in an upward and downward direction, and a magnet may be mounted to at least one of the pogo pin module and the connection terminal module. When the pad is disposed above the base, the pogo pin module may be moved upward by a magnetic force of the magnet and may come into electrical connection with the connection terminal module.

Claims

1. A pet care device comprising: a base; a pad disposed above the base; a pogo pin module comprising a first PCB and a pogo pin; and a connection terminal module mounted to the pad, the connection terminal module comprising a second PCB and a connection terminal electrically connected to the pogo pin, wherein the pogo pin module is movably disposed between the base and the pad in an upward and downward direction, and wherein a magnet is mounted to at least one of the pogo pin module and the connection terminal module such that the pogo pin module is moved upward by a magnetic force of the magnet and comes into electrical connection with the connection terminal module.

2. The pet care device according to claim 1, wherein the base comprises a guide rod protruding upward from the base, and wherein the pogo pin module comprises a guide hole formed in the pogo pin module, the guide rod being fitted into the guide hole to guide upward and downward movement of the pogo pin module.

3. The pet care device according to claim 2, wherein the base comprises: a lower base comprising a lower plate; and an upper base comprising an upper plate mounted on the lower base.

4. The pet care device according to claim 3, wherein the guide rod is formed on the lower plate, and wherein the upper plate comprises an opening so as to allow the guide rod to pass through the opening.

5. The pet care device according to claim 4, wherein the opening is formed to a size that allows the pogo pin module to pass through the opening.

6. The pet care device according to claim 5, wherein the upper plate comprises a fence protruding upward from an upper surface of the upper plate along a periphery of the opening.

7. The pet care device according to claim 3, wherein the pad comprises a depressed portion depressed upward from a lower surface of the pad, and wherein the connection terminal module is mounted to an upper side of the depressed portion.

8. The pet care device according to claim 7, wherein the pogo pin module is electrically connected to the connection terminal by inserting at least the pogo pin into the depressed portion.

9. The pet care device according to claim 5, wherein the pogo pin module comprises a first PCB frame supporting the first PCB, and wherein the guide hole is formed in the first PCB frame.

10. The pet care device according to claim 6, wherein the pogo pin module comprises a first PCB cover covering an upper surface of the first PCB, the first PCB cover comprises a pin hole through which the pogo pin passes, wherein the magnet is mounted to the first PCB cover, and wherein the first PCB cover is disposed above the opening.

11. The pet care device according to claim 10, wherein the first PCB cover comprises a downward peripheral portion bent downwardly from an edge of the first PCB cover, and wherein the downward peripheral portion surrounds an outer surface of the fence.

12. The pet care device according to claim 9, wherein the first PCB frame comprises a stopper, and wherein the stopper is disposed below the opening and protrudes in a direction away from the first PCB and is configured to come into contact with a lower surface of the upper plate.

13. The pet care device according to claim 5, wherein the lower plate comprises a drain hole disposed below the opening.

14. The pet care device according to claim 5, wherein each of the upper plate and the lower plate comprises a cavity formed in a central portion thereof.

15. The pet care device according to claim 3, wherein the upper base comprises a sidewall protruding upward from an edge of the upper plate, wherein the pad is disposed in an inner space in the upper base surrounded by the sidewall, and wherein at least one weight sensing element is disposed between the upper plate and the pad.

16. A pet care device comprising: a base; a pad disposed above the base; a pogo pin module configured to receive external power, the pogo pin module comprising a first PCB and a pogo pin; and a connection terminal module mounted to the pad, the connection terminal module comprising a connection terminal electrically connected to the pogo pin, wherein the pogo pin module is movably disposed between the base and the pad in an upward and downward direction, and wherein one or more weight sensing elements are disposed between the base and the pad.

17. The pet care device according to claim 16, wherein the base comprises: a lower base comprising a lower plate; and an upper base comprising an upper plate, wherein the pogo pin module is disposed between the lower plate and the pad, wherein the weight sensing elements are disposed between the upper plate and the pad, and wherein the upper plate comprises an opening so as to allow the pogo pin module to pass through the opening.

18. The pet care device according to claim 17, wherein the lower plate comprises a guide rod protruding upward from the lower plate, and wherein the pogo pin module comprises a guide hole formed in the pogo pin module, the guide rod being fitted into the guide hole to guide upward and downward movement of the pogo pin module.

19. The pet care device according to claim 16, wherein a first magnet is mounted to one of the pogo pin module and the connection terminal module, and a magnetic body or a second magnet having a polarity opposite a polarity of the first magnet is mounted to the other one of the pogo pin module and the connection terminal module.

20. A pet care device comprising: a base; a pad disposed above the base; a pogo pin module configured to receive external power, the pogo pin module comprising a first PCB and a pogo pin; and a connection terminal module mounted to the pad, the connection terminal module comprising a connection terminal electrically connected to the pogo pin, wherein the pogo pin module is movably disposed between the base and the pad in an upward and downward direction, wherein the base comprises a guide rod protruding upward from the base, and wherein the pogo pin module comprises a guide hole formed in the pogo pin module, the guide rod being fitted into the guide hole.
